I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.
My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.
Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.
By promoting relaxation,
Reducing stress and anxiety,
And improving sleep and mood,
Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.
Today is day number 28.
Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.
Close your eyes.
Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And then exhale through your mouth,
Helping your entire body to relax.
As you continue to breathe,
Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.
The focus of today's meditation is on sisterhood.
As women,
We go through many transitions in life and menopause is one of the most significant ones.
It's a time of change,
Both physically and emotionally,
But we don't have to go through it alone.
Sisterhood can be a powerful support during this time.
When we gather with our sisters,
We create a space of understanding and compassion.
We can share our experiences,
Our challenges and our triumphs.
We can hold each other up when we feel weak and celebrate each other's victories.
During menopause,
We may experience hot flashes,
Mood swings and fatigue.
It can be a challenging time,
But with the support of our sisters,
We can face these challenges with grace and strength.
We can find comfort in knowing that we are not alone and that others have gone through or are going through at the same time.
Sisterhood also reminds us of our worth and our value.
We are not defined by our age or our physical changes.
We are powerful,
Wise and beautiful women who have so much to offer the world.
Together,
We can lift each other up and remind each other of our strength and resilience.
So as we meditate on the importance of sisterhood during menopause,
Let us remember that we are not alone.
Let us find comfort in the support of our sisters and draw strength from our shared experiences.
May we embrace this transition with love,
Compassion and grace,
Knowing that we are powerful women who can face anything with the support of our sisters by our side.
