Welcome fellow menopause sister.

I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.

My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.

Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.

By promoting relaxation,

Reducing stress and anxiety,

And improving sleep and mood,

Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.

Today is day number 20.

Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And then exhale through your mouth,

Helping your entire body to relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.

The focus for today's meditation is on finding your voice.

Prior to the age of 50,

When we stuff our emotions down,

We don't speak our truth,

Our body can manage without demonstrating any physical symptoms.

But after the age of 50,

Science has found that when we continue to stuff those emotions down,

To not speak our truth,

These emotions can manifest themselves as physical symptoms within the body.

So your joy and health are dependent of you finding your voice.

And most women find their voice during menopause.

And when they do,

They say it is a powerful and transformative process.

It allows you to express your needs,

Desires and emotions authentically while embracing the changes and challenges that come with this phase of life.

I want you to bring your focus to your throat and the energy center located there.

This is your throat chakra.

And visualize a warm and vibrant light glowing in your throat,

Representing your authentic voice and self-expression.

Reflect on the significance of finding your voice during menopause.

Consider the changes and challenges you may be experiencing and the importance of honouring and expressing your true self during this transformative phase.

Allow any emotions,

Thoughts or concerns to arise without judgment.

Acknowledge any fears or doubts that may have hindered your voice in the past and hold them with compassion and understanding.

With each breath,

Imagine the energy in your throat center expanding and growing brighter.

Feel it strengthening and empowering your ability to express yourself authentically,

Confidently and compassionately.

Visualize your voice as a clear and resonant sound that flows effortlessly from your throat.

Picture it carrying your truth,

Needs,

Desires and emotions with clarity and conviction.

I want you to know that you are worthy of being heard and your voice matters.

Allow these words to resonate within you,

Deepening your connection with your authentic voice.

Take a moment to express gratitude for the opportunity to find and express your voice during menopause.

Appreciate the growth,

Self-discovery and empowerment that come with embracing your authentic self.

As you continue with your day,

I want you to carry the awareness of your voice and its importance with you,

Knowing that expressing your truth is a gift to yourself and the world.

And remember,

Finding and embracing your voice during menopause is a journey that requires self-compassion,

Courage and patience.

Regular practice of this meditation can help you connect with your authentic voice,

Empowering you to express yourself confidently and authentically during this transformative phase of life.

And now,

In your mind's eye,

I want you to picture your beautiful face.

And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me,

Out loud.

I am confident in expressing my thoughts and feelings.

My voice is powerful and valuable.

Menopause is not a barrier to my self-expression.

I am allowed to take up space and speak my truth.

I trust myself to communicate effectively.

I embrace my unique perspective and share it with others.

My voice is an important part of who I am.

I am capable of asserting my boundaries with grace and clarity.

I honour my voice and use it to advocate for myself and others.

Menopause is a time of transformation and I am growing into a more confident and authentic version of myself.

When you are ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Roll your shoulders back and down.

And slowly begin to blink your eyes open.

Congratulations on completing today's meditation.
