Welcome fellow menopause sister.

I am so grateful you are here joining me for this 30 day meditation for menopause challenge.

My name is Melissa Hyde from the Menopause Reset and I'll be your guide during this challenge.

Meditation is an effective way for you to manage the physical and emotional challenges of menopause.

By promoting relaxation,

Reducing stress and anxiety,

And improving sleep and mood,

Meditation can help you feel more balanced and in control during this transitional time.

Today is day number 16.

Find a comfortable seated position where your spine is tall but relaxed.

Close your eyes.

Place your left hand on your stomach and your right hand on your heart.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And then exhale through your mouth,

Helping your entire body to relax.

As you continue to breathe,

Focus on your chest and stomach expanding as you inhale and then fall as you exhale.

The focus of today's meditation is about finding balance.

As you continue to breathe,

Observe the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen with each breath,

Fully experiencing the sensation of breathing.

And imagine a sense of balance and harmony flowing through your body.

Visualize this balance as a glowing light or a gentle breeze that moves through you,

Bringing a sense of calmness and equilibrium.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing in the qualities you need to find balance during menopause.

Visualize inhaling patience,

Acceptance and resilience.

Feel these qualities filling your body,

Mind and spirit.

As you exhale,

Release any tension,

Worries or imbalances that you may be experiencing.

Let go of any resistance or frustration and surrender to the natural flow of your body and the changes taking place during menopause.

Now bring your awareness to any specific areas of your body where you may be feeling imbalances or discomfort due to menopausal symptoms.

Send your breath and attention to these areas,

Offering them love,

Acceptance and healing.

Imagine the imbalance gradually dissipating,

Leaving behind a sense of ease and harmony.

Allow yourself to fully embrace the present moment,

Accepting yourself and your experiences with compassion and kindness.

Know that finding balance during menopause is a process and it is okay to have moments of imbalance.

Trust that you have the inner resources to navigate this transition with grace and resilience.

Take a few moments to express gratitude for your body and the wisdom it holds.

Appreciate the journey you are on and the opportunity to grow and evolve during menopause.

Embrace the lessons and insights that this phase of life brings.

Try to carry the sense of balance and harmony with you as you continue your day,

Knowing that you have the strength and resilience to find equilibrium during menopause.

Remember,

Finding balance is an ongoing process and it may require self-care practices,

Support from loved ones or even professional guidance.

Regular practice of this meditation can help you cultivate a deeper sense of balance and well-being during menopause.

And now,

In your mind's eye,

I want you to picture your beautiful face.

And I want you to repeat each of these affirmations after me,

Out loud.

I am worthy of balance and harmony in my life.

I trust my body to guide me towards balance and health.

I am patient and kind with myself as I navigate menopause.

I am capable of finding and maintaining balance in all areas of my life.

I honour my need for rest and relaxation as much as my need for productivity.

I embrace the changes that menopause brings and adapt to them with ease.

I prioritize my physical,

Emotional and spiritual well-being.

I am open to new ways of achieving balance in my life.

I release any guilt or shame around asking for help to find balance.

I am grateful for the opportunity to create a life that is balanced,

Healthy and fulfilling.

Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.

Roll your shoulders back and down.

Slowly begin to blink your eyes open.
