Hello and welcome.
How are you doing today?
How are you feeling in your heart?
Is there a lot of chatter happening in your mind?
How do you feel physically in your body?
And then letting go of all of those thoughts as you gently close your eyes so that you can sit in silence.
Remembering that this moment is a sacred,
Special moment for just you.
Freeing yourself of all distractions.
Letting go of all the worldly concerns.
All of the to-dos.
And just really focusing inward on you,
On your body,
On your breath.
Allow time to just slow down.
The past and the future,
That's not important right now.
All that matters is this moment.
This moment you have chosen to be here for yourself.
Allow yourself to just relax in your body.
Allow yourself to be okay with slowing down and stopping.
Because this is the place,
The place where you feel refreshed.
This is the place where your energy begins to recharge.
All the thoughts start to dissolve in this light and the stillness of this place.
The thoughts that we have begin to lose the attachment that we hold on with so greatly.
We just observe those thoughts and let them go and put them down for a moment.
And allow your silence to speak a little louder.
Allow your breath to become the focus point.
Just noticing,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Naturally pausing where you need to.
And then just feeling the stillness in that space.
This place right here,
Right now,
Is free from the past.
It's free from the future.
It's free from all the judgments and labels.
In this space right here,
There's no expectation.
It's the place where your energy is renewed and your spirit can breathe.
This is the place where your inner teacher speaks.
And in this place,
You are able to hear and listen.
This may be the first time today that you have paused and stopped.
So for the next moment in the stillness of your breathing,
Just notice what it feels like.
And notice how you are doing.
Take a deeper,
Longer breath in.
And then exhale with a sigh,
Letting everything go.
Maybe lifting your hands and your arms around you,
Wrapping yourself in a big hug.
Take a moment to feel some proudness and some gratitude for spending these moments in your practice of stillness,
So that you can listen to your inner teacher.
Taking a moment to have gratitude for this earth and the special people,
Connections that you've made.
And then a moment to be grateful for your body.
This beautiful body,
Even when in injury or illness,
Has this amazing ability to heal itself.
The legs that carry you where you need to go,
The arms that wrap around the people that we love with hugs.
There's so much in this life to be grateful for.
