Self-worth meditation.
Take a comfortable seat sitting in a chair or cross-legged on the floor.
Make sure your lower back is supported and your body is comfortable and relaxed.
Your chin should be gently tucked in and your eyes and lips softly closed.
Make sure you're comfortable and relaxed.
Remove any distractions from the area around you and allow yourself this gift of meditation.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your nose.
Take in another big deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your nose.
Take another big deep breath in through your nose,
Feel your belly,
Hold the breath at the top and slowly,
Ever so slowly let the air out.
Inhale,
Feel your belly,
Hold the breath at the top and on the exhale relax your shoulders,
Feel your shoulders melt down your back.
Starting at your feet,
Your feet should be relaxed and tension free.
Relaxing your ankles,
Your calves and shins,
Your knees and behind your knees.
Relax your thighs and your hamstrings,
Relax your hips and your buttocks,
Relax your lower back and your abdomen,
Relax your chest and upper back.
Relax your shoulders,
The tops of your arms,
Your elbows,
Your forearms and your hands.
Relax your neck,
The back of your head and your face.
Your entire body should feel like it's floating,
No tension,
No stress,
Just like it's floating in the air.
Continue to do deep long in and exhalations,
Try and stretch them out as long and as juicy as you can.
I want to remind you that thoughts are a part of meditation,
If thoughts pop up just simply let them go and return to your breath.
Don't buy into the stories,
Just return to your breath.
Now I want you to vision a worthy-o-meter,
Where 10 being the most worthy,
Overflowing with self-worth and 0 being the least amount of self-worth.
Where do you sit on that barometer?
Are you a 5?
Are you a 3?
Or maybe you're a 7?
Feel where you're at right now.
Don't judge yourself for where you're at,
Simply let go of any thoughts and just acknowledge where you're at.
Now I want you to feel what it would feel like to be a 0.
How would that feel in your body?
Would it feel tight,
Heavy,
Dark and constricted?
Feel into that feeling of what it feels like to be a 0.
Now take in a big deep breath in through your nose and exhale out.
One more time,
Take in another big deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out.
Now I want to invite you to feel what it feels like to be a 10 on the worthy-o-meter.
If your self-worth was at a 10 and you were bursting with worthiness,
How would that feel in your body?
Would it feel light,
Effortless,
Graceful,
Maybe it's golden or white or soft like feathers?
Really feel that feeling of what it feels like to be a 10.
Let that feeling permeate through every single cell and pore and hair follicle in your entire body.
Let it swim through your veins.
Let go of the thoughts and return to that feeling.
Know that you can tap into that feeling at any moment,
Just like you just did then.
Now I want you to think about how would you move through your day if your self-worth was at a 10?
If your worthy-o-meter was bursting off the ricta,
How would you do your work?
How would you move your body?
How would you relate to other people?
What would you nourish your body with?
And how would you spend your time alone?
Someone who is at a 10 is definitely going to move through their day very differently to someone who is at a 0.
Stay connected to that feeling.
Feel what it feels like and how you would move through your day.
I want to remind you that you have a choice.
Whenever you are feeling like maybe you are a 1 or a 3 or a 0 on the worthy-o-meter,
You can feel like a 10 at any given moment.
Just like you have done right now,
You can tap into this feeling in a breath.
Just by tapping in,
Going inward,
You can feel it.
Take in a big deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale out through your nose.
Breathe in,
Breathe in all of that worthiness.
And exhale any self-doubt and any fear.
One more time,
Breathe it up,
Breathe it in.
Exhale out any fear.
Know that you can tap into that feeling whenever you choose.
It's your choice.
You are worthy.
You are beautiful.
And you are perfect exactly the way you are.
Take in a big deep breath.
Slowly exhale.
When you are ready,
You can slowly crack open your eyes.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And remember to take that worthiness out with you into your day,
Into everything you do.
Namaste.
