Welcome to this guided meditation for embracing your womb wisdom on the first day of your menstrual cycle.
My name is Melissa and I will be your guide for today.
As cycling beings we hold a powerful key to a gateway of wisdom and intuition.
Your womb is a space of creativity and your bleeding days are a time of profound connection with your body,
The earth and an opportunity to tap into the softness that resides within you.
Menstruation is a sacred and natural cycle that aligns you with the rhythms of nature in your own inner rhythm.
It is a time of renewal and release,
An opportunity to listen to the whispers of your body and honor the wisdom it offers.
This is a time where your fire to do things is on the lower pit but your intuition is on a higher level.
Bleeding asks us to rest,
Slow down and to take deeper care of ourselves.
As you embark on this meditation journey allow yourself to fully surrender and treat yourself with gentleness.
Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can dedicate this time to nurturing yourself and your connection to your body.
Throughout this practice we'll be focusing on the sensations and feelings within,
Gently exploring your womb space and inviting your intuition to guide you.
So let's begin.
Find a comfortable position either sitting down or lying down.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,
Allowing your body to relax and your mind to become present.
As you settle into this moment focus your attention on the rise and fall of your chest.
See if you little by little you can make your breath even deeper and longer,
In and out.
Gently send the breath now to your lower belly.
Feel a soft expansion of your abdomen as you inhale and the release as you exhale.
Let your breath be a bridge between your body and the feeling of coming to presence.
Feel the weight of your body against the surface you're resting on.
Sense the points of contact between your body and the support beneath you.
Feel how each breath you take sinks you deeper and you start to soften your hips.
Feel into your womb space and hips.
See if there is any tension or contraction and try to relax this area.
You might also feel called to roll your hips and softly start circling and moving them.
Rub your hands together to create some heat and place both your hands on your lower abdomen over your womb.
Take a few moments to tune in to the sensations here.
Notice the warmth,
The rhythm of your heartbeat and any subtle movements.
Give yourself full permission to just be here.
Feel and let out whatever is present.
Remember you are completely safe here.
I will give you some time to connect and check in with yourself.
I want to invite you now to repeat the Hawaiian Ho'oponopono mantra out loud or in your mind and welcoming gentle compassion for yourself and your body today.
We will repeat five times the mantra.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
Now we go together.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
That's such a beautiful practice.
As we conclude this meditation,
Take a few moments to thank yourself for the connection you've nurtured.
Your womb space is always with you,
Carrying you through life.
Remember it holds the knowledge of the earth and is connected to its cycles and rhythms.
There's powerful wisdom and intuition to be found here.
As you gently return to the awareness of the room around you,
Be reminded that you can always reconnect with your womb and intuition whenever you need guidance or insights.
You can come back to this meditation each month to check in with your womb and your body.
Whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes and carry this sense of empowerment and connection with you throughout the rest of your day.
