So just coming into this moment and closing your eyes,
Bringing your attention from the busyness of the outside world and all the to-dos and all the things that are asking for your attention,
Turning inward and just focusing on the breath now,
Allowing the breath to be soft and gentle,
Like slow,
Soft,
Rolling waves of the ocean coming into the beach and gently leaving again,
Just allowing yourself to fall into that easy,
Gentle rhythm of the breath coming in and gently rolling out.
And as you breathe in,
Imagining a golden rose-colored light,
Warm and soft,
Soothing and comforting.
And as you exhale,
Imagining tension gently dissolving and leaving your body,
Breathing that healing light in,
Allowing it to wash and bathe every cell of your body.
And as you exhale,
Letting go of all the to-dos,
All the busyness,
Allowing yourself to settle into this now moment,
Feeling the weight of the body sinking into the support beneath you,
Feeling that support rising up and holding you.
And as you notice the effortlessness of that support,
You could feel your body softening even more,
Feeling the weight of the body dropping into the support,
Dropping into this present now moment,
Fully and completely.
And as you take this time for yourself,
Just noticing all the amazing benefits that happen,
How the breath slows,
Taking this time to pause allows the mind to rest.
Nothing to do right now,
Nothing to figure out right now,
Just allowing the mind to settle into that gentle rhythm of in and out with the breath.
Just taking this pause,
Taking this time for yourself,
Knowing and recognizing the value of this time,
The importance of you stepping out of the busyness,
As if you are giving a beautiful gift to yourself.
Imagining that gift in your hands and noticing how simple and plain or how ornate this gift appears to you in this moment.
The gift of time,
The gift of stillness,
The gift of peace,
The gift of quiet.
And just imagining that you are gifting this self because you are worthy,
Because you are deserving,
Because there is nothing more important in the busyness of your day than to take this time to receive this gift so fully,
So wholly,
So completely.
As if you are saying to yourself,
I am worthy.
I am so deserving of this time.
I honor myself and my body temple by slowing down and connecting with myself.
How wonderful it is to honor myself in this way.
And you can imagine from leaving this moment,
The amount of focus and peace that carries into your day,
You could imagine yourself moving through the busyness with a slower,
More present state of mind.
You could imagine yourself smiling throughout your day,
Throughout all the activities.
As if the people around you notice a special light in your eyes.
And with curiosity,
They wonder,
What are you up to?
You seem so much more present.
You seem so much more peaceful.
You seem so much more content.
And you can smile to yourself,
Knowing that it was because you gave yourself this beautiful gift.
You gave yourself this beautiful time to be quiet,
To step away from the busyness.
Because you gave yourself this gift,
You connect so much more deeply with the truer portion of who you are.
That truer self,
That more authentic self,
That more vibrant self,
That knows you are worthy,
That you are valuable,
That you deserve respect,
And knows the importance of this time.
And just allowing the breath to continue its gentle flow,
In and out.
Feeling the body so beautifully supported into this moment.
Remembering the value of stillness.
Connecting so deeply to the peace and the love that you are,
In this moment,
In every moment.
So in a moment,
I'll count back from five to one.
When I get to one,
You'll be awake,
Refreshed,
Energized,
Feeling so ready,
So centered,
So energized to take on your day.
So coming back now.
Five,
Taking a breath deep into the abdomen.
Four,
Beginning to move and stretch the body,
Wiggling fingers and toes.
Three,
Bringing your awareness into the room,
Coming all the way back up now.
Two,
Getting ready to open your eyes.
And one.
