
Connecting With Deeper Self, Earth, Heart, And Spirit

This guided meditation takes you on a journey through your breath and body and then to a deeper connection to the earth. From here the guidance continues and opens up the awareness of recharging, centering, and holding the trust within yourself.

Hello,
Thank you for joining us today.
Find yourself a comfortable place to just settle down,
Settle in,
And allow it,
If possible,
To be slightly out of the way so that there won't be many distractions and that you can feel at peace with just being.
And I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath with the inhalation in through the nose,
The exhalation out through the mouth or nose,
Whatever is most comfortable.
And as you are with your breath and begin this tracking,
It really allows you to just come home to your center,
Allowing everything that you've been involved in or surrounded by just to dissipate,
Become not so important,
Spread out a little bit further afield.
And give yourself a nod and a thank you for showing up here for this next little bit of time just to recalibrate,
Reset,
And just settle in.
So as your awareness is with your breath,
I invite you to expand the awareness also to your physical body.
And if you're sitting,
Allowing yourself to almost feel suspended by a thread up through the top of the head so that you feel your neck is a little bit longer,
Your chin is up a wee bit.
And allow the muscles in your forehead and your face and jaw just to relax,
Bringing the awareness continuing through the neck,
Allowing it to feel suspended rather than heavy.
Allow your shoulders just to roll back ever so slightly,
Opening up that chest plate,
That heart chakra.
And allowing your shoulder blades on the back just to go a little bit lower.
Bring your awareness to your trunk,
Your body,
Your belly,
And notice what happens with the inhalation and with the exhalation.
Perhaps you notice that the breath is slowing,
That your rib cage is expanding,
That your body is fully engaged even though you may not have been aware.
Allow yourself to bring your awareness almost like you're continuing a scan of your sits and what is supporting you,
The bench,
The chair,
Where is it touching?
And continue down through your knees,
Your legs,
Your ankles,
Your feet.
And just notice what is touching your skin,
What is supporting different parts of you.
Just notice.
And as you continue with your breath,
Imagine that that inhalation is drawing in the new,
In the new energy,
In the new air,
In the freshness.
And as you come to that cycle of exhalation or expiring,
Imagine that it is releasing stale,
Stagnant energy,
What's left over of the breath.
Just allowing for this cycle,
Inhalation and exhalation,
And that it is bringing a life force to your body.
And as we scanned down to our feet,
I want you to bring your awareness back there again.
And take notice of the energy that you can feel flowing through your body.
And at your feet,
Allow that that expansion and extension of you goes down into the earth.
You might see it as roots from a tree,
Or just as part of your energy body extending into the earth.
What does that feel like?
You notice it on the soles of your feet,
From your legs,
From your knees,
From your belly.
Just allowing that expansion and extension down into the earth.
And just be with that and be with your breath,
With the inhalation and the exhalation.
And as you're here with this connection to the earth,
I invite you to the concept that you can draw up energy,
Almost like a recharge,
A recharging station for you.
Allowing you and your energy body to be drawing up from the earth and imagining it coming up into your feet and traveling up your body,
Up your body to your arms,
Your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your head,
Just really filling you up like a beautiful recharge.
And as you continue with your breath,
I want you to imagine expanding that energy within your physical body.
Imagine it as your light being,
Your energy body,
And as you breathe,
It expands.
And as you continue playing with this,
I invite you to allow it to expand even beyond your skin,
Even beyond your physical body.
You might even feel movement,
A pulsing,
A pulsation.
Allow when working with the breath and this energy body expanding just to gain in its energy and its presence and its limitlessness.
In other words,
Don't have the body as a confine for it.
But allowing expansion.
And while you're here with this body,
I invite you to bring your awareness to that sternum,
The chest area,
The heart chakra.
Bring your awareness right there into the center and allow yourself,
Your being,
Whatever that is,
To you to drop right into your center.
Continuing with your breath,
Continuing with the pulsing and the expansion of the light body,
And continuing with the connection with the earth.
Allow yourself within that heart space to know that you are safe.
Know that you are protected right here in your center and know that you are sacred.
And as you continue to sit in this birth center,
In your very center,
I invite you to bring in the awareness of a trust,
Of an innate knowing that you are in complete connection.
Allow a slight smile to come over your face and just expand your awareness to the divine within every cell of your being.
Just a knowing that you are connected with you,
That you are of spirit,
Higher power,
And that as you breathe,
As you take that inhalation and release that exhalation,
As you draw up the energy and also the grounding from the earth,
As you step into and hold that very center part of you,
Bringing your presence right here,
That you have everything that you need for any moment right inside you.
So I invite you now,
As you expand from here,
To also bring your awareness up toward the top of your head,
And that is the place on the top of your head called the crown chakra,
The seventh chakra.
And I invite you to take that light being,
That energy aspect of you,
And go past the boundaries of the top of your head through that crown chakra and imagine that light just traveling up,
Continuing up and up,
Just going beyond where you can even envision.
And I invite you to breathe in very deeply and allow the exhalation to be even larger and to feel the connection from deep in the earth all the way through the body,
Extending up and outward into the universe.
Allow this light and this energy body to be very full,
And take a moment of stillness and observation.
What does it feel like?
If you too were to observe what is going on with you,
What might it look like?
If you were to bring your lens back in to that center part from the heart,
The love,
What does it feel like?
What is the essence?
So I invite you at this time to bring that energy back downward,
Bringing it back to that edge of your crown chakra and back into your head,
And allowing yourself to bring that energy back down,
Following it and tracking it right to the earth,
And letting it go and giving a nod of thank you,
Both to the earth and to the sky,
And I invite you to bring your awareness right back into your physical body and feel the warmth and the surrounding and the being one with your energy body as well.
Bring that in,
Into this physical body,
Into this shell,
And now I invite you to bring your awareness in even smaller,
Into your individual cells,
And just bring an awareness that wow,
Each cell has a part of the divine,
And then notice even smaller the space between the cells,
And don't forget your breath,
The inhalation and the exhalation,
Just continue with that and explore the space between the cells,
And I want you to feel the stillness,
I want you to feel the calm,
I invite you to feel the potential,
And now I invite you to bring your awareness and figuratively your being right back into that heart chakra,
That center,
And again allowing a small smile to come across your face,
Really bringing forward the gratitude to thank your breath,
To thank your physical body,
To thank your cells,
To thank the extra space,
To thank the energy body,
And to thank the divine that is within and all around you.
Know also,
Just reminding yourself,
I got this,
Whatever I need,
I got this,
And remember and awaken the trust that you hold within you,
I invite you to bring your awareness back to your breath,
And track it for another two or three cycles,
Not looking to change anything at all,
But just being present,
And when you feel ready,
Just give yourself permission to start coming forward with a little bit of movement,
And a clarity,
And an openness to step back into the day.
