After relaxation, through breath, we practice the act of giving and receiving. Intentionally offering out to the world what you wish, then opening up to receive with the breath. This meditation and breathwork will leave you feeling aligned and reconnect to your path, to help bring you back.

Hello,

My name is Megan Westveil and you are listening to my meditation via Insight Timer.

Today we are going to be exploring the act of giving and receiving through breath and what we put out in the world and how we receive what is given to us.

Both polarities are very important in life,

The yin and yang energy and also to find that teo balance for a more harmonious way of living.

So if you would like to find yourself in a comfortable position with your spine straight,

Either seated,

Perhaps supported,

Seated on a block or back against the wall,

Either lying down maybe with a mask over your face,

I really recommend a lavender mask,

They are lovely.

So yeah,

If you also need to just pause this recording to establish how you want to be meditating today then please do so and then come back.

And during that time make sure that you are setting up your space,

So making your environment as comfortable as possible to meditate.

Great,

So in the position you are in just take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

With that outward breath just feel your whole body go limp,

Feel your whole body melt into the ground beneath you.

Just continue to do a few deep exhalations,

Landing deeper and deeper into this present moment,

Into the position you are in.

Feeling the gravitational pull from the earth,

Bringing your body down and using the universal pull to elongate your spine,

Even if you are lying on your back,

Feeling your chest open to the heavens.

Once you have planted yourself just start to bring attention to your breath and notice where you are breathing into.

Are you currently breathing into your chest,

Throat or stomach?

Is your breath non-existent,

Is it sharp or is it smooth?

And then in your own time joining it all together to start to take some deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And then let your inhalation dive to the base of the spine down to your root,

Filling up your lungs and stomach and then when you exhale clear from deep below.

As you breathe feel the connection between the base of your spine and the top of your throat,

The entrance and exit of breath and your spine becomes the channel for this breath,

Running a straight line of fresh renewing energy,

Revitalising you and glowing.

As you breathe out release any dark stagnant air,

Carrying it up and out the top of the tunnel and really enjoy the flow of this process,

Finding the imagery blinding you from the outside world,

Bringing you into your inner world and solely to focus you in this journey of relaxation.

Each breath in bringing renewing energy to your muscles and joints,

Even your skin,

Awakening your cells,

Your energy centres and your chakras,

Aligning every part of your being into the present moment,

Open to receive and relax.

And if distracted just deepen your breath even further,

With any external sounds you may hear just simply understand that they are out of your control and become present with them,

As they are happening you are happening,

Become one with that.

See light filling your body with peace as you breathe in and see your baggage leaving you as you exhale,

Leaving you feeling lighter and lighter as your body sinks heavier and heavier.

Breathing in protecting your aura,

Creating a shield of light around you and breathing out any doubts,

Worries or egos,

Even breathing out any personas you may hold for yourself,

Any masks,

Even down to your name,

Removing the external self and as you breathe in connecting to the inner self,

The subtle energy from within,

The spirit that is forever and always present.

See and feel that tunnel of light,

That connection within you glowing.

And then start now with each inhalation,

Holding the breath at the top for a moment or two.

And when you're ready you breathe out at the bottom of the breath,

You find that pause,

You find that hold just for a few moments.

And then you repeat breathing in,

Holding and breathing out and holding.

And as you do this just simply witness how your body feels,

How your mind feels as you pause at the top and bottom of the breath.

Notice how you feel weightless and suspended as your whole being waits for the next breath.

Going down the system,

Calming yourself and surrendering into the present moment.

And that seeing does halftime cause you to?

] And when you're ready just let your breath flow back to its natural rhythm,

But remain with that stillness that you found at the top and bottom of the breath,

That weightlessness,

That pure detachment.

And now take this time to just have a moment for yourself to address each body part from the top of your head down to your toes.

Just scan and tell each body part that you passed to calm and relax.

So even down to your eyelids,

Feeling them soften,

Loosening your jaw,

Releasing your tongue.

And even if you can manage asking your skin to relax,

Scanning down the body,

Relaxing deeper and deeper,

All the way down to the very tips of your toes.

Take your time.

Now try wallpaper.

Dough.

And now you are fully relaxed.

Just come back to your breath and reconnect with that channel of light where your spine is.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Now take out any suspension or pause between each inhale and exhale and try to find a circular breath.

So as you breathe out when you are nearing the end of your exhale,

Try to blend it into your inhale.

Same as when you reach the top of your inhale continue the breath to flow into your exhale.

This doesn't mean shortening the breath,

But reaching the end of the breath and finding that curvature that leads into the opposing breath.

Take some time to find the rhythm.

It also helps by slightly adding volume to the breath.

And now start to visualize and feel your inward breath coming from the base of the spine.

Breathe it in traveling up your channel of light all the way up to your third eye.

Then as you breathe out,

Allow the breath to pour out of your third eye out into the world and landing back down to your root at the base of the spine.

Practice this circular breath,

Gathering up the breath in the body and then releasing it out into the world through your third eye and landing back to where you started.

And if your body is beginning to slightly rock forwards and backwards,

Just allow it and let the breath be quite strong.

Feel the weight of the breath moving you and the space around you and within.

And once you have got into the rhythm of this breath,

I'd like you to bring to mind the word giving.

What would you like to give out to the universe?

Are you offering light,

Equality,

Gratitude,

Love,

Healing or protection?

And with every breath you exhale out through the third eye,

Release it out to the space before you,

To the world and giving it out to all that is.

Each inward breath is gathering a singular word to focus on or intention.

For you to then release as you breathe out.

You could send your offering out to the collective or to certain people in your life.

See people,

Individuals or even situations appear in your mind's eye as you breathe out your offering to them.

I'll leave you for a moment in silence to continue this and for you to get lost in this visualisation and breath.

Gathering the breath and offering from the base of the spine,

Traveling it up your channel of light and through your third eye.

Breathing out the offering and sharing it to whom you wish and landing it back to the base of the spine.

Now finish the breath you are on and let your breath find its natural rhythm.

Perhaps adding a few suspensions at the top and bottom of your breath again to centre yourself.

Keeping stillness in the mind,

Just observe how your energy feels after that breath work and that giving sensation.

From here,

We now find that circular breath again,

But reverse it.

In through the nose and out through the mouth still.

So keeping that continuous breath,

Linking the inward and outward breath together again.

Breathing in from the base of the spine,

But this time travelling it out from the body and curving it upwards towards your third eye.

Then breathe in that breath through the third eye and drink it down the channel of lights towards the base of the spine.

Continue this flow of circular breath until you find the pace of it.

Again,

Keeping it strong but not forceful and if you find yourself naturally leaning with the breath,

Surrender to it and let it happen.

I'll give you a moment of silence to connect to the motion of the breath.

Breathing in the breath out from the body,

Absorbing through the third eye and travelling it down the spine back to the beginning.

Now start to bring to mind the word receive.

Keeping with the breath,

Begin thinking about what you are currently requiring.

What is it you are manifesting?

And with each inhale,

Gather up that manifestation and breathe it into the body,

Charging up your beliefs and determination.

Really allowing yourself to receive.

Feeling guilt free.

Opening up yourself and surrendering into this action.

And also taking some time to breathe in what you are currently needing to accept.

Are you feeling you need more patience?

Seeking forgiveness.

Accepting more courage,

Willpower or confidence.

Whatever you need,

Breathe it up into the third eye and let it enter the body,

Down your channel and to the base of the spine.

Breathing in what you are currently requiring.

And lastly,

With each inward breath,

Welcome the love and light being given to you and breathe it out into your body,

Grounding the space for it.

As you breathe in,

Gather that light and love and as you breathe out,

Mentally say to yourself,

I open my heart up to receive love and welcome light into my life.

I open my heart up to receive love and welcome light into my life.

I open my heart up to receive love and welcome light into my life.

Repeat this with each outward breath for the next few moments.

Breathing in from the base of the spine,

Travelling it out from the body and into the third eye.

Breathing out a deep breath and accepting the love and light you deserve to receive.

Gathering down the spine and to the root.

I think what's important to acknowledge is that you deserve to receive this.

Have a moment to tell yourself that you deserve to receive love and light.

With each circular breath witnessing the light from your channel growing stronger and stronger.

Reaching out to the edges of your entire being.

Again take this next circular breath as your final one and come back to your natural breath.

Again centring yourself by adding suspension at the top and bottom of the breath.

Notice how you are as a whole are feeling.

Witnessing the energy within you and observing how you felt before this practice and how you feel now.

Perhaps taking another subtle body scan and having a feel for each body part.

Heightening your awareness.

Now let's all take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

Three times in.

One more breathing in.

And out.

And then just twinkle your fingers and twinkle your toes.

Start to circle the wrists and ankles.

Travelling movement just small movements up the limbs into the shoulders and hips.

Perhaps doing some spinal rotation.

Slight neck rolls.

Then bringing your hands together and rubbing them together generating heat.

First of all placing your hands over your heart.

And just connecting to what you charged up today.

Acknowledging what you offered and what you gained.

Then rub your hands together again.

Place your hands over your eyes,

Keeping your eyes closed.

Hands over the eyes,

Just simply witness what colours you may see behind your eyes,

What insights or messages you may be hearing.

And then in your own time just blink your eyes open and melt your hands away from your face.

Take care for the rest of your day or have a blissful sleep.
