Welcome to Making Meditation Mainstream 10-Minute Meditations.

My name is Jason.

The meditation theme for today is come home.

I love this theme because come home is what it feels like to me when we meditate.

This is my true home.

I feel the warmth of being non-judged and at ease and contentment.

I ask you to consider what it feels like when you come home.

Surround yourself with friends who love you and appreciate you.

What does home mean to you?

For me,

That's what meditation feels like,

Coming home.

Warmth,

Love,

Abundance,

Gratitude,

Peace.

So in today's meditation,

I would like to invite you to be in that state and feel like you're coming home.

Coming home to your true self,

Coming home to connection,

Coming home to contentment and to peace.

Now get yourself settled as we will now begin the meditation sequence.

Take a moment now to just settle and relax.

Close your eyes.

Together,

Let's take three breaths and on each exhale,

Allow yourself to relax more and more and to feel heavier and heavier.

Bring yourself into the present moment.

Allow the past to be the past,

The future to be the future and you are safe in this moment right now.

Now place your attention to the top of your head.

Allow a deep sense of relaxation to cascade slowly down your face.

Feel your eyes become heavy.

Release your jaw,

Soften your mouth and allow your tongue to sit comfortably on the roof of your mouth.

Allow your shoulders to fall away from your neck,

Completely relax your arms.

Let go of your stomach and feel your legs and feet become completely at ease and relaxed.

Now place your focus and awareness upon your breath,

Watching the inhale and exhale of the breath,

Witnessing the rise and the fall of the chest.

Should you have any thoughts or distractions,

Just acknowledge them,

Allow them to drift slowly away,

Calmly return your attention back to the rise and the fall of the chest.

Take a moment now to contemplate the theme for today.

Thank you for joining Making Meditation Mainstream.

Have a great day.
