Hello everyone and welcome.

So get yourself in a comfortable position,

Let go,

Relax,

You can lie down or sit up if you prefer and just surrender.

Just taking a moment to check in with yourself,

How do I feel,

What are my thoughts like today,

Is there any pain,

Discomfort physically and emotionally.

Just taking a moment to be self aware and check in with yourself,

Just noticing not having to do anything.

Now I want you to think about the story that you have been telling yourself over and over again about your childhood,

Listening to the broken record and I want you to invite those feelings,

Those memories,

Those thoughts to come to the surface.

And if you can,

Go back to a specific event that occurred in your childhood that created this ripple effect.

Where were you?

How old were you?

What time of the year was it?

Just try to find as much detail as you can.

And I want you to see little you stand in front of you,

That innocent child or teenager,

Whatever the age was and really looking into their eyes and seeing yourself in them,

Inviting in all the emotions and feelings that you are feeling right now to be raw,

To be real.

And now that you have met that child,

I want you to ask them,

I want you to ask them their story,

What happened to you and let them express themselves as they wish.

And then ask them,

How did mom or dad let you down?

How did mom and dad hurt you,

Abandon you,

Not show up for you?

And I want you now to take a moment to acknowledge their feelings.

I want you to acknowledge everything that they're saying to be valid.

And that you are here,

That you are listening.

And now I want you to take a moment to comfort them,

Hug them,

Show them the love that they deserve,

Give them the reassurance that they need.

Tell them that they are safe now and that you're here.

And now I want you to ask them,

Is there anything that they need at this moment that can make them feel better?

This could be anything,

Whether it's just more love or maybe they need you to confront her parents or his parents,

To stand up for them.

So just take a moment and trust your intuition right now and just allow them to express what it is that they need and give them just that.

I want you now to ask them,

How is this event,

This moment in our past,

Still affecting us today in the present?

How are our parents or whatever happened,

Still controlling us today,

Stopping us from being happy,

From being free?

And let them tell you exactly what that is.

And now ask them,

What do they need from you to change,

To be empowered?

What do they need from you to become their hero?

And now I want you to take a moment to tell them a story,

A new story of why your parents were not able to be who you wish them to be.

You see,

A child does not know,

But an adult does.

So find something about your parents that you may have some compassion towards,

Some love and explain to the child that it was not their fault and give them as much information that can comfort them to let them know that their parents were not healed,

Were not able to do better,

Even though they may have wanted to.

So reassure them in this moment that they are loved and seen and it's not their fault and explain to them why their parents did what they did.

Give them a sense of understanding.

And now just give them once again a big hug seeing that there's a sense of resolution,

A sense of peace.

And now tell them,

Today everything is going to change.

Today you and I are going to come together and change our story forever.

They will no longer be alone,

They will no longer have to suffer.

And invite them to join you.

See that child's smile filled with love,

With a sense of peace.

And suddenly you see them turn into a beautiful ball of light,

Shrinking down.

And invite them into your heart,

So allowing this ball to merge with your chest and just like a puzzle piece finding its way home,

Returning to a place of love,

In your heart.

Where they will always,

Always be loved,

Safe,

Protected,

Seen and valued,

No matter what.

And feeling them in your heart,

Happy and finally at peace.

Ok,

It's time to come back,

So returning back to the present moment,

Back into the space that you're in,

Wherever you may be.

And when you're ready,

You can wiggle your toes and your fingers,

Feeling your breath slowly expanding your awareness back into the space.

Take your time.

When you feel ready,

Open your eyes.
