
Releasing Fear & Reclaiming Joy During Corona Times
During the challenging COVID-19 time, it's easy to feel scared and anxious. This meditation is infused with energy healing and will help you to address and release fear, reclaim your joy and boost your immune system in a supported way. It will also help you to use the current time as a vehicle for growth and transformation rather than stagnation and fear.

As the world deals with the reality of the coronavirus pandemic,
There's a lot of anxiety,
Worry and fear in our collective atmosphere.
There's fear around health,
Contagion,
Our economies,
Money and survival in general.
It's hard to interact with people or society without feeling like you're picking up on this generalised anxiety.
And although this is unpleasant,
It also provides us with an incredible opportunity for personal transformation if you know how to use it.
This practice can help you harness this opportunity and create growth and transformation.
It will also help you to detach from the collective fear and reclaim your sense of joy,
Which as a happy bonus will boost your immune system.
I encourage you to stay light with this practice and use your consciousness and your imagination with it.
And as you do,
You'll be working with yourself energetically and opening up to the flow of energy healing that is embedded in this practice.
Take a conscious breath in and allow your body to relax.
I want you to imagine that you can either see or feel the energy within your body.
Do this playfully and know that you can't get it wrong.
And I want you to also imagine that you can see or feel where you have taken on the energy of others.
It might have been through the news or social media or it might just be a subtle feeling that you've picked up from interactions with others.
And now imagine that as you breathe in,
Your breath fills your being.
And as it does,
It picks up any chunks of energy that you're holding there,
Particularly anything that was not originally yours,
Things that you've picked up through interactions.
And as you breathe out,
Feel that energy leaving your system.
You can see it returning to its original source or being received by the earth or rising to the heavens,
Whatever feels right in this moment.
As you do this cleansing process,
It's important that you're not rejecting the energy or even actively trying to get rid of it.
Do this practice with the intention of freeing whatever is ready to be freed.
Let's run through that process again.
Breathing in and giving your breath permission to pick up any dense low vibration energy that you've gathered or picked up from individuals or society in general.
And allow yourself to breathe it out,
Releasing it from your system.
Feel the lightness that takes its place.
If you like,
You can pause the recording here and repeat this process as many times as you need so that you cleanse yourself of whatever is ready to be released.
Know that this practice is available to you anytime.
Now that you've consciously released that which is not yours to hold,
Take a moment to notice what remains.
Are you holding any fear or anxiety of your own?
The truth is,
Just like nothing from outside of you can come and insert a skill into you,
Nothing outside of you can insert an emotion into you either.
We respond to what's happening outside of us from what is already inside of us.
That's why two different people can respond completely differently to the same situation.
In this way,
Being triggered by our experiences and interactions with others is like a torch shining in the darkness.
It springs to light what is already present,
But not necessarily visible.
If you are holding any dense energy,
Fear,
Anxiety,
Doubt,
Worry,
Then just allow it to be there.
It's already there.
It already exists.
Resisting it doesn't make it go away.
It actually does the opposite.
It holds the emotion in place and squashes it down,
Which makes it feel more intense than it was in the first place.
So do your best to allow yourself to be as you are in this moment.
Give the anxiety or the fear or whatever it is that's coming up for you right now space to exist.
Allow what is present in you to be seen.
Remember that the current situation is not giving you feelings that were not there before,
Even though it might appear that way.
What it's doing is uncovering what was already in you,
But was not previously visible.
So this is an extraordinary opportunity to address those fears and heal them in a deep and comprehensive way so that they no longer influence you,
Your actions and your decisions from below the level of your conscious awareness.
Feel into whatever fear or dense vibration energy is present for you now.
Acknowledge that you may have been repressing the feeling earlier and reassure it that you are here and ready to listen to it now.
Now ask the feeling,
Whatever it is,
If it has anything that it wants to communicate to you.
What's it concerned about?
Let the fearful part of you speak in an unedited,
Unrestricted way and bring the same attitude of openness and love that you would if you were interacting with a dear friend or a small child as you listen.
And now respond to its concerns without dismissing them.
Is there any reassurance that you can offer it?
Is there any evidence that you can provide to soothe the part of you that needs soothing?
Ask yourself,
Do I need to do anything in response to the concerns being raised by this part of me?
Do I need to change anything,
Maybe an attitude or an action?
And whether or not action is required,
Can you bring reassurance to that part of you that is fearful?
Embrace it,
Allowing it to heal through your loving attention so that it reunites with the whole of you instead of remaining separate.
Ask the previously fearful part of you how it's feeling now and also what it needs from you.
And then do your best to meet those needs right now.
Or if you can't meet them now,
Commit to doing so in the future and then honour your word.
Continue this dialogue for as long as you need until it feels complete to both parts of you.
Know that although there is a lot of fear and anxiety flowing through society right now,
You do not have to be swayed by it.
But the process of not being swayed by it is not about resisting it.
It's not about tensing against the fear of the collective.
It's not about fighting it or pushing it away.
But it is about not holding onto it.
It's about allowing it to move through you.
You can clear it out with your consciousness and intention.
Use the breathing practice again and again and know that at the end of it,
Whatever is left in your system is something that was already there trying to get your attention so that you can clear it and move more and more towards wholeness.
And now think of the current pandemic,
The impact it has had on you and others.
Has it cost you something?
Money?
Security?
The freedom of moving around freely?
Physical connection?
How does it feel to ponder those things?
Do you notice yourself tensing up?
The reality is as the reality is,
The coronavirus is here.
It is impacting the world.
Fighting that fact inside yourself is not a fight that you can win.
And yet it's easy to subconsciously resist it and block your own energy and flow.
You don't need to be joyous about the pandemic and its consequences.
But what would it feel like to not resist it?
To 100% completely stop fighting it?
To open to the experience of it?
Is there anything at all that you can appreciate about the current circumstances?
Maybe the chance to slow down?
The opportunity it gives you to reprioritise this is an extraordinary time with so much potential for transformation.
And now notice how joyful are you?
How joyful have you been lately?
Have you perhaps been consciously or unconsciously restricting your capacity for joy during the current crisis?
Feel into your inner space and with the curious attitude of a scientist,
See if it's possible for you to open the door to more joy in this moment.
Remember a time when you were really joyous.
Remember the circumstances,
The experience,
The feeling.
Feel how your body felt,
How light and vibrant the experience of joy was.
And as you do that,
Feel yourself reactivating some of that feeling now.
And imagine also that as you breathe in,
You can draw more and more light,
Joyous energy into your system.
Because with your intention,
You can.
Right now during the current crisis and in life in general,
Allow yourself to be as joyous as you can,
As happy as you can,
As light as you can.
Through this time of general collective heaviness,
The more lightness that you can access for yourself,
The more lightness you are bringing to the world.
You being light,
You being playful,
You being joyous is not disrespectful of other people's pain.
It's an act of service.
Care for yourself,
Care for others.
And as you uplift yourself,
You have the potential of helping to uplift others.
Be easy with yourself.
This time is challenging and you do not have to handle it perfectly.
There will be ups and downs and that's okay.
Nurture yourself through it with as much love as you can muster,
As much playfulness as you can find and move forward in joy,
Even when you can.
