It sometimes feels like our intuition and guidance arrives by grace. That's true. But it's also true that you can train yourself to hear the language of your intuition at will. This guided self-inquiry practice takes you through a detailed process to help you make a decision intuitively. Using this process to make small every day decisions intuitively will help you to be able to do it for the bigger stuff when you need to. Enjoy!

Welcome to this guided meditation designed to help you make a decision in an intuitive way.

Before we begin,

I want to invite you to consciously free yourself in advance from having to implement the guidance that comes up from the practice we're going to be doing together.

This will free you up in the exploration and it will also create the space for you to actively choose to follow the guidance in an empowered way if you want to once we're done.

Let's begin.

Bring your attention to your body and just notice what it's feeling.

Be one with the experience of your body and give your body permission to relax and soften.

Give permission to your mind to relax and soften.

It's possible that you've been pondering this decision and its implications for a while now and that's fine,

But for now allow yourself to release your preconceptions and even your preferences if you can.

You can always pick them both up again at the end of the practice.

As you let those things go,

You'll be creating like a clean slate to look at the situation with.

Bring your attention to the situation that you'd like to make a decision about.

Notice what happens when you think about it.

Does your body get tense?

Does your stomach get a little tighter?

Or do you feel relaxed?

Hold the intention of being a clear channel for your own highest wisdom.

Contemplate the clarity you want to feel around this issue.

When we sit to make a decision,

We're often aware of a couple of potential options.

If that's the case for you,

Think of one of those options now.

We'll call this one option A.

Now say,

Either aloud or inwardly,

I'm going to choose option A and notice what happens.

Do you feel a contraction or an expansion?

Do you get a sense of tension or relief?

Notice your sensations,

Your feelings,

Any memories that might come up.

Explore what being in the energy of choosing option A feels like to you.

And now it's time for a reset.

Let all of those experiences go.

Jiggle your body around a little bit if you need to.

Go back to feeling like a clean slate with a fresh perspective.

When you're ready,

Say out loud or inwardly,

I will not choose option A.

What happens?

Do you feel a contraction or an expansion?

Do you feel lighter or heavier?

Explore what you experience.

And letting that go,

Let's compare those two experiences now.

What was it like when you contemplated choosing option A versus not choosing option A?

How do those two experiences compare to each other?

Did one feel lighter?

Did you get a sense that one felt more aligned than the other?

We'll now go through the same process for your next option.

We'll call this option B.

Reset yourself again in whatever way it feels best.

You might again want to jiggle the body around or just use your intention.

Think about option B.

When you're ready,

Say,

I will choose option B.

Notice what happens.

What sensations do you feel?

What memories or insights come up for you?

What's the experience like when you contemplate option B?

Letting all of that go and resetting yourself once more.

When you're ready,

Saying,

I will not choose option B.

Explore how your body,

Your consciousness,

And your mind respond to the energy of not choosing option B.

Letting that go now and comparing it to choosing option B.

What were the similarities and the differences in the experience of contemplating choosing option B and not choosing option B?

And how does contemplating choosing option B or not choosing option B compare to when you contemplated choosing option A and not choosing option A?

If you feel like there's confusion at play,

That's okay.

You can redo the practice.

Sometimes we need to do it more than once to get real clarity on what our wisdom and our intuition is trying to show us.

If you need that time now,

You can pause the recording or rewind it and repeat the process.

Spend some time now,

Either going through a third or possibly a fourth option if you have them,

Exploring your inner world's response to each of them in the way that we've already practiced.

Feel free again to pause this recording if you need more time.

Once you've done the process for all of the known options,

We're going to try and get you some additional clarity and insight.

Reset yourself once again back into the blank canvas mode and then ask,

Are there any better options that I haven't considered yet?

Be willing to be surprised.

If you've already arrived at a place of clarity,

Bring to mind the option that feels the best for you.

As you contemplate it,

Ask,

Is there anything I need to know or to do to help this choice create the best possible outcome?

If you're not completely clear on your decision yet,

I want to remind you that our wisdom and intuition speak to us in a language that's particular to each of us.

And any time that you dedicate to learning to hear and understand the language of your intuition is always productive,

Even if you don't get the clarity that you're after straight away.

The more you practice this,

The easier it's going to become.

Take heart in knowing that many people struggle to hear their own intuition,

Particularly above their fears.

But with intention and conscious practice,

It becomes easier and easier and easier to do.

Also,

The bigger the decision,

Then often the greater the fears and the harder it is to hear the wisdom speaking.

If you just followed this process for the making of a big,

Important life decision,

You may feel a degree of pressure to get it right.

The easiest way I've ever found to profoundly deepen our connection to our intuition and our guidance is using this intuitive decision-making process to make inconsequential,

Low-pressure decisions.

For example,

What should I have for lunch today?

Or which friend should I ring now?

The more you consciously connect to your wisdom and to your intuition in low-stakes way,

Then the more you'll build the muscle of doing it.

And this will make it so much easier when you're trying access it when the stakes are higher.

Thank you for being someone who wants to live a more conscious,

Intuitively led life.

You add more magic to the world just by being in it.

All the best to you with this and with all the decisions in your future.

Thank you.
