Soft Butter - Zen Practice For Deep Healing And Sleeping
This gentle Zen-inspired guided meditation uses the Soft Butter visualization, a practice associated with Zen Master Hakuin, to support deep relaxation, emotional comfort, and inner balance. You’ll begin by settling the body with slow, natural belly breathing, allowing tension to soften and ease. This is a great meditation to help you heal and fall asleep easily. From there, you’re guided to imagine a warm, golden softness at the crown of the head, gently melting downward through the body, like soft butter warming and flowing. As this warmth spreads, it soothes muscles, calms the nervous system, and restores a sense of grounded safety and ease. This practice is especially helpful during times of stress, emotional fatigue, or when you need a gentle, non-forcing way to rest and reset. It can be used before sleep, during recovery, or anytime you feel depleted and in need of warmth and renewal. Sound Design: Niladry Dey
