Hello.

Welcome to this guided meditation for pregnancy.

This meditation is designed for any women currently pregnant with a child,

Looking to connect deeper with your unborn babe and with your own body.

Pregnancy is a significant rite of passage.

It is beautiful and challenging.

If you're feeling overwhelmed or alone in this process,

Know that you are channeling the divine love and light of creation.

Go ahead and settle yourself,

Taking a few intentional deep breaths into the abdomen.

As you do so,

You can imagine sending your breath and your life force down to your womb and your stomach and your baby.

Allowing yourself to deeply relax your body.

As you breathe in and out,

Allowing your muscles to soften.

If at any point in this meditation you become uncomfortable,

Simply readjust yourself.

Take a few deep breaths and soften once again.

Whether this is your first pregnancy or you've done this before,

Each experience is unique and different.

Take a moment to settle into your own internal emotional space.

Notice what emotions exist within you right now.

Are you experiencing positive or challenging emotions?

And is there a direction that you would like to take your emotions in?

Maybe toward more peace,

More excitement,

More joy,

More ease.

Imagining what it would feel like to feel completely at peace in your mind,

In your body,

And in your pregnancy.

Connecting into your baby's awareness.

Whether your baby is still small and forming in your womb,

Or if you're further along in your pregnancy,

Feeling kicks and alertness from the baby.

How would you like your baby to be experiencing its existence right now?

Your emotional space and your baby's emotional space are intricately connected through the hormones and the chemical signals that you send through your body toward the baby.

As you breathe and find peace within yourself,

You can also send that peace to your baby,

Allowing it to be completely cared for in a warm cocoon of love and grace and peace.

As you move through this pregnancy,

There are shifts that occur both in the mind and the body.

Noticing how your body feels for you.

Sometimes the body can begin to feel like it's something separate from who you are.

Maybe you're feeling your body in a different way or looking a different way than you have before.

How is your relationship with your body changing through this process?

Think of how miraculous your body is to be able to go through so many changes while still keeping you and your baby healthy.

Your body is working so hard for you throughout this entire pregnancy.

As it changes,

Trusting that its intelligence and its wisdom is working with you and your baby to keep you both safe.

Regardless of weight changes or stretch marks or discomforts inside the body,

Knowing that your body is caring for you just as you are caring for your body.

Observing also the changes that occur within your mind.

Part of these changes are hormonal adjustments and part of these changes are becoming a new version of yourself.

Transforming through this rite of passage into a woman that you've never been before.

Those changes can be frightening for some and expansive for others and a combination of many different feelings for most.

Part of the rite of passage of motherhood is gracefully and gratefully saying goodbye to who you once have been.

In order to usher in a new,

More expansive,

More loving,

More radiant version of yourself as a mother.

Periods of grief or fear or doubt can creep in as your mind and your self-image change radically in this process of pregnancy.

Once again,

Remembering that this process is working with you and for you.

You are being divinely and naturally guided away from what you used to be and into a new expression.

A new beautiful version of yourself that will be able to care for and love and nurture your child to be.

Pregnancy is a process of growing pains and expansion.

As you breathe,

Allow openness and surrender to flow through your body with each inhale and exhale.

Releasing the need for control in your mind,

Knowing that this process is unfolding effortlessly.

Trusting that you are provided for and cared for.

Your body holds the wisdom of every generation of women and mothers that came before you.

You are completely capable.

You are doing a beautiful job in this process.

You are so loved and appreciated by your baby.

Every moment that you spend in presence,

In love,

And in peace are benefiting your baby.

Every moment that you spend with a calm breath and a peaceful mind are benefiting your baby.

Taking a few final loving deep breaths deep into your belly,

Sending them directly to your baby.

Allow the love to move from your baby up into your own heart as you and your baby communicate and share this unconditional love back and forth.

Taking as much time as you'd like here to continue breathing in this soft open space.

And whenever you feel complete,

Finding a final intentional inhale and exhale and completing the meditation.
