Destressing the gut helps to return it to calm and healthy functioning. Releasing the energy of overwhelm and other causes that upset our gut helps to bring relaxation and calm to our digestive system. Our belly is also our power centre. We call our energy and power back from all the people and places to whom we have given it away. Soothing and energising our gut with calm will bring you to a place of healthy active empowerment. Welcome.

Sit relaxed with palms up,

Feet flat and eyes closed,

And taking a big breath in,

Let it out and just come into your body.

And with awareness,

Let's greet our body,

Thanking it for all it does for us.

Let's tune into our emotional body for a moment,

Just thank it and accept what's there.

And to our beautiful mind,

Just acknowledging and thanking it and accepting whatever is there.

Now focusing on your breathing,

Being aware of the beautiful,

Fresh vital energy coming in with each breath.

And we can utilize this breath for our own health and well-being.

So just consciously breathing,

And with each exhalation just drop further into your physical body.

And now let's breathe into our stomach region.

Just breathing in and just letting the belly become full and breathing out.

Pushing the belly forward as we do this,

Filling it up,

And breathing into our stomachs.

Just continue that for a little while,

Belly breathing,

Breathing in.

Let this vital energy fill our bellies,

Consciously bringing that vital energy into our gut region.

Well done,

And just relax that breathing now,

Come back to natural breathing,

And taking your focus to your head now and your scalp and hairline,

And we're just going to consciously relax all over our head,

Hairline,

Relaxing the muscles,

Relaxing forehead,

Just letting go.

Relaxing temples,

Eye sockets,

Around our eyes,

Relax,

Behind our eyes,

Relax,

Around our mouth,

Lips,

Teeth,

Tongue,

Gums,

Relax.

Relaxing the jaw,

Those little points below our ears,

All the way down to our chin.

Wriggle your chin,

Just releasing any tension.

Inhale and breathing out of the head region,

Relaxing,

Letting go.

Be aware of throat and neck.

Inhale and release.

Relaxing throat and neck,

Releasing upper back and let your arms drop.

Being aware in your chest,

How is it feeling,

Is there tightness?

Relaxing in your chest region,

Consciously relaxing.

Now let's have a look at our stomach region,

Our focus for today.

Just notice first of all what's going on here.

Just let the senses,

The signs come to you.

Be aware,

Gut telling you.

Now accepting what is there,

But inhaling and asking it to relax.

That's the first level of asking our stomach region to relax and consciously letting go of the muscles in this area.

Letting go of tightness,

Letting go of tension.

Moving down now to our hips and our pelvic area,

Noticing and relax.

Relaxing legs and feet,

Arms and hands,

Relax.

Now breathing in through the top of your head and flushing through your body,

Releasing everything out.

And again,

Breathing in through the top of your head,

Consciously pushing and pulling out any tension,

Tightness,

Tightness and relax.

And once more,

Inhale through the top of our head,

Through our whole body and just let go.

Let go and relax,

Letting go and relax.

Sitting relaxed now,

Aware of our body.

If anywhere has already clenched up,

Just return to this place and consciously relax that area again.

So we're going to bring in some light and energy to help us with our meditation today and help us with healing the gut.

So coming up to crown chakra on the top of your head and sending a focus up above,

Straight up and out to the light above.

Send your focus out as far as possible.

Use your imagination going out and out and out to the highest point imaginable and calling to this light,

This bright white light,

Luminous light,

Calling it in with your breath and intention.

Inhale,

Bringing that light all the way down at our crown chakra,

Visualizing a beautiful lotus flower sitting here receiving the light,

Receiving.

And the petals begin to open,

Receiving the light.

It flows down and through our body,

Through our chakras and through our physical body and out of the base of our spine and the soles of our feet down into Mother Earth.

So intend that this light go down to the heart of Mother Earth,

Greeting her if you wish,

Drawing up this light and some of that earth energy as well.

We intend it to come back up in the same pathway through our base chakra,

Base of our spine and up through our body and sending it all the way back out of crown chakra to the source of the light way,

Way,

Way,

Way up,

Stretching even further if you can.

Call that light in again with your breath.

Down it flows through your body into the earth,

Breathing it up from the earth.

Feel it,

Feel any sensation in your body as it moves through and then sending it back to above.

Embrace that light again.

Goes down and into the earth.

We're building our pillar of light,

Pulling that light back up through our body.

Visualize this pillar of light flowing through us going to above and below at the same time.

We sit in the middle of this pillar of light.

This time as we call in the light,

Just bring it down to the level of your heart and swirl and settle and soften and open our hearts a little more.

And as we sit here in our heart,

Just visualize the pillar of light we sit in.

And that pillar of light is going to assist us today with de-stressing our gut.

It is breathing in this beautiful light and energy,

Breathing it into your heart.

Let your heart feel full.

Relax,

Breathing it into your stomach region.

Stomach region.

And relax.

So we're going to start by just tuning into our emotional body.

So our emotional body is very powerful and it is the one that has an effect on our gut and how it's feeling.

So what happens in our emotion is digested in our gut.

So just being with your emotional body and just feeling whatever is there,

Tuning in,

Just acknowledging this wants to be heard,

The message received and accepting what is here.

And now sending some soothing to your emotional body.

So breathing in and send to your emotional body some love,

Loving our emotional body.

It's an important part of who we are.

It's a navigation system as well.

Sending it love,

Sending it some soothing energy.

So I'm going to bring in some beautiful pink into that white light that's flowing down.

Bring that beautiful pink soothing,

Loving energy to your emotional body.

Calming and soothing our emotions.

Whatever is there,

Just acceptance of what is.

Some calming and soothing energy to acknowledge who we are,

What we have experienced and how we are feeling.

Breathing in,

That soothing,

Feel it in your heart,

Feel it in your somal plexus,

That soft area between our rib cage and feel it in your gut.

And as we send the soothing energy into our gut,

Really try and relax into that.

Just visualizing this pink white energy,

Like the pink of the rose quartz crystal,

Soothing in our gut.

So we're going to do some releasing,

But before that,

We're going to call our power back.

And we'll do this again later.

So quite often we give our power away without even realizing it.

And our gut or this part of our body,

Which is ruled by our navel chakra is about our power.

So just saying to yourself and visualizing this as well,

I call my power back to me.

Call my power back to me.

I call my power back to me and breathe that into your gut.

Into navel chakra if you like to think about your chakras as well.

Relax.

And we're going to call our energy back to us,

That which we have given away to other people and places,

Situations.

Call my energy back to me.

Call my energy back to me.

I call my energy back to me and breathing that in,

Nourishing our gut with that and relax.

So we're going to do some releases now,

The things that get stuck in our navel chakra that affect our gut and the digestive processing.

So saying to yourself,

I release all energy of overwhelm and breathing in and we're going to breathe out and release from our belly,

Navel chakra and belly area.

Just letting go of that energy of overwhelm.

When you feel like life has too much for you to deal with,

Things feel overwhelming or too much has come in to deal with at the same time,

That's difficult.

Just inhale and releasing that energy from your navel chakra and your gut area.

Energy of overwhelm,

Too much to deal with.

So just if this or any of these situations are relevant for you,

Only say them if they are,

If they're not,

Just sit and enjoy the being in the energy.

I release the energy of disappointment that's sitting in my gut and release from your belly and your solar plexus.

They're very closely related to each other.

I release the energy of betrayal.

Inhale and breathing out through your gut,

Your solar plexus and your heart.

I release the energy of being let down,

Breathing in and release.

Same areas.

I release the energy of feeling attacked,

Breathing in,

Releasing from solar plexus and belly,

Navel chakra.

Release the energy of being disempowered,

Release.

Belly area,

Navel chakra.

I release the energy of feeling like things have been done to me,

Breathing in,

Release from solar plexus and belly area,

Solar plexus and navel.

And I release all fears that cause me to be hypervigilant.

Inhale and releasing.

Same chakras and relaxing.

Just tuning in.

So as we engage in life,

In our relationships,

With places and situations,

Workplaces,

We send out lines of energy as we engage with these.

It's a natural thing that we do.

But when these have been troublesome for us,

It is a very good practice to cut these lines of attachment so that we can return to our own self with our power and energy restored.

It's like a restorative practice that we can come back to,

Who am I?

Power up and then face whatever situations you need to face again or will be facing again.

So it's a very good it's a very powerful practice.

Let's just be in our navel chakra.

So it's right there near our navel and our belly.

And you might like to visualize whether it is a person or persons or a situation,

A place,

A time,

Even a concept,

A thought,

A belief.

And please say,

I cut all cords of attachment to all people and places and times and events and situations and concepts and thoughts or beliefs that's draining my energy where I'm giving my power away.

And inhale and breathing out through your belly through navel chakra.

And let's just visualize those lines of energy being cut now.

Sometimes these are quite strong.

We've been reinforcing them for a long time.

So let's do that again.

Maybe we will do let's do the people,

The people in your life that you feel that you need to have some space from to be able to call your power back from them.

The ones that you feel have disempowered you or overpowered you,

Overwhelmed you.

And please say,

I cut all cords of attachment to this person,

You say their name,

Or people.

Inhale and release.

So we're visualizing this line of energy being cut and the end of your line coming back to you,

To your belly,

To your navel chakra.

We're going to call that back in a moment.

We're just going to do a little bit more here with places this time.

It could be a workplace,

A house or home,

Whatever place,

Particular city.

Cut all cords of attachment to all places that are draining my energy that I've given my power away to.

And inhale and breathing out of the belly,

Navel chakra.

Just cutting those lines.

You can visualize them being cut and your end coming back to your belly,

Your navel chakra.

We need that energy for ourselves.

We want to energize this navel chakra.

So just breathing in,

Relax.

Okay,

This time we'll do it for any situation,

Any situation that's caused you distress.

Cut all cords of attachment to all situations that has caused me distress.

Inhale and breathing out of belly,

Letting go and seeing those lines of attachment being cut,

Cut,

Cut,

Cut,

Cut,

And your energy coming back to you.

You're part of that line of energy returning to you,

To your navel chakra.

And just breathing in and relaxing.

It's quite a powerful thing to do.

Just let your body settle again.

We're going to call our power back from all of those people or situations.

So please say,

I call my power back to all the people,

All the places,

All the situations where I've given my power away and given my energy away.

I call it back to me now.

And breathing into navel chakra,

Breathing in deeply,

Bring it into navel chakra,

Calling your energy back.

You might like to visualize that coming back to you.

Sometimes I think about it like a octopus extracting its tentacles and calling them back,

Pulling them back to its own body.

So call your energy and power back to you.

It is yours,

Your choice.

And now you're calling it back to you.

Let's do that again.

I call my power back to me.

I call my energy back to me.

I call my spirit back to me.

Breathing that into your navel chakra,

The energy gets stored in navel chakra,

And then it feeds the physical body with it.

Feeling up our navel chakra again,

Breathing in.

And please say,

I am empowered.

Breathing in.

I am empowered.

I am empowered.

Breathing that in.

And just feeling this power in your body now,

This empowerment.

So it's not force.

And it's not to harm others.

This empowerment is used through love.

It's not to get back or be wrong use of our power.

So breathing into navel chakra and breathing into heart chakra.

We want these two working together to bring peace and harmony for us and for others around us.

Standing in our power,

People listen to when we are in our power.

And when this power is joined with love,

It is enormously stronger.

So breathing into heart and navel chakra.

And please say,

I can speak with assertiveness,

Not too much energy,

Not too little energy,

Not aggressive and not passive,

Assertive and breathing that into navel chakra.

And now just loving our gut again,

Nurturing our gut.

And seeing that soft pink white light again coming into our navel chakra,

Into our gut,

Just nurturing.

You might like to put your hands on your belly,

Sending it love and soothing and calmness.

So we sit in our empowerment with our calm in our bellies,

Asking that calmness to filter into our digestive system.

And just visualize that if you like,

This energy.

It's energized,

But it's calm.

It's not frenetic.

It's not panicking.

It's calm,

Calm,

But energized.

Our digestive system needs to be energized and activated,

Coming back to normal,

Healthy processing of the digestive juices and the digestive system.

So you see that healthy gut returning to homeostasis,

Soothing and loving and calming our gut,

Breathing in.

Now I'm just going to chant for our gut.

Just to help it along a little.

It's just Ram.

So just being in your gut and just letting the vibration penetrate into your gut.

Ram,

Ram,

Ram,

Breathing that in.

And seeing that light pouring in,

Breathing in through the top of your head.

Beautiful light,

Beautiful,

White,

Pink,

With a touch of gold pouring down,

Bringing it into all parts of your body now,

But particularly your belly area,

Particularly your gut.

Who's getting all the attention today?

Feeling up everywhere,

Feeling the light and energy.

Return us to harmony and balance,

Peacefulness,

Calmness,

And just enjoy that for a few more minutes.
