Welcome to this meditation in which I will be guiding you to connect to your solar plexus.
And by using your voice,
You'll energize yourself and connect to your willpower.
You don't need to be a singer to follow this meditation.
I invite you to have a playful and curious attitude as you allow yourself to use your voice.
We will begin now by settling into a comfortable position,
Gently closing your eyes and bringing your attention to yourself.
You can either sit with your back straight and your chin slightly dropped towards your chest,
As if you have small weights on your chin and you feel how the back of your neck lengthens.
Or you can also lie down on your back,
Bending your knees and feeling both soles of your feet,
Making contact with the ground beneath you.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in through the nose and becoming aware of what area or areas of your body get filled with fresh air.
I invite you to allow the air to fill the bottom parts of your lungs first.
As you inhale,
Feel how the air drops into the lower part of your body,
Expanding the stomach and gently pushing the pelvic floor downwards.
To feel this movement even deeper in your body,
You can slightly contract your glute muscles on the exhale.
Once you're fully emptied of air,
Release the muscles as you bring the air to the lower part of your body.
Once more,
Inhale deep into your body and on the exhale,
Contract your glute muscles slightly as you accompany the breath out.
Once you're fully emptied of air,
Release the muscles as you take a breath in to allow the breath to fill up the lower part of the lungs first.
Take some time for yourself to repeat this deep grounding breath.
Welcome yourself in your body.
Give yourself a big hello and thank your body for supporting you during this practice.
Now that you're a bit more settled and grounded,
I will teach you a slightly different breathing technique.
This breathing technique will help you energize your body.
You're going to be taking pulsing breaths in and out through the nose,
Bringing your focus and attention to your upper abdominal muscles.
Every time you pulse and contract your upper abdominals,
Visualize how these muscles move towards your spine.
Let's start by doing a set of 15 breaths together.
Remember to breathe in and out through the nose.
Now breathe normally as you allow yourself to feel the energy flowing through your body and vitalizing your body.
Take a couple more deep breaths in through the nose,
Into your pelvic floor and out through the mouth.
Let's repeat the breathing sequence one more time.
Relax and breathe normally.
With this breath of fire,
You're activating the energy in your solar plexus.
So bring your attention to your solar plexus,
The area of your torso just above your navel.
On the next exhalation,
We will start toning with the seed mantra RAM.
That's R A M.
This seed mantra activates the energy in your solar plexus,
Balancing it and helping you connect to your willpower and your ability to take action.
Follow your intuition to find the sound that is most comfortable for you at this moment.
You can follow my voice or choose whatever pitch is comfortable for your voice.
Your harmony will continue breathing into the area above your navel,
Toning without noticing body sensation or an emotion,
An image.
Anything that you perceive is okay.
Last time.
Then quietly contemplate how you feel.
How did you arrive to this practice today?
And how do you feel now?
I hope you feel more energized in your body and more in touch with your willpower.
