At work,
It is often by seeing everything we have to do in a limited amount of time that causes most of all the stress we experience on a daily basis.
And this adds up to the stress we already have because we need to provide good results also in a limited time.
Either way,
Whatever the number of items you have on your to-do list,
Remember that.
You can only do one thing at a time.
So there is no point starting several things at the same time.
This will veil your fear and make you feel better,
But it will not change the result nor increase the amount of time you have.
Then it's often from our mind that we anticipate most of the work by thinking about how we're going to do it and how the job will be once finished.
Yet focusing your energy on doing the work from your thoughts will not do the work nor save you time.
Instead,
You will waste time,
Since the horror glass doesn't start until the moment you really are in the action.
And most of the time,
We even forget about all those things we thought of.
So it's not really helping anyways.
So I'm inviting you to consider the tools below to organize yourself,
To really save yourself time and reduce your level of stress at work.
The key to productivity and success lies in your ability to organize yourself.
And that takes time too,
But I'll show you a way so it will actually save you time.
Here are my advice.
1.
Create a routine Every morning,
Create a schedule for the day.
You may have a simple one where you'll just amend the content every day.
In this schedule,
You will be dedicating for each task a time slot not too short but searchable for doing the work.
You will watch the time regularly to motivate yourself to finish each task on time.
By creating such a routine,
You organize your work time and this is essential to make sure that,
At the end of the day,
Everything you wanted to do will be done.
2.
Get organized Being organized doesn't mean writing down everything and anything in a notebook or by using post-it.
It's one,
Having an agenda with only your appointments or things that need to be done on a specific day at a specific time.
This agenda is the first thing you look at in the morning since its items are your daily obligations.
It's two,
Having a memo or a general to-do list where things that are not to be done on a specific date are written down vertically and you will cross out what is done over the day.
It's three,
Having a notebook that will be used as a journal where you can write down everything and anything.
It is your reflection support where you will write down your ideas but also the work you do,
Task after task.
This journal might be your greatest motivation by following up on everything you have done and not everything that remains to be done.
Now,
In relation to your to-do list and in order to create your schedule for the day,
Ask yourself this,
What are the priorities?
You must do the urgent tasks first,
Even if they are not the most pleasant.
It sounds very basic and we all know it,
But we often tend to start with what is the least stressful and ultimately will only delay the bomb.
Then ask yourself,
Am I procrastinating?
Don't put off these priorities or even what can get done today.
And you know how satisfying it is to cross out the to-do list items.
By doing most of the tasks now,
You will be free later and it's always better this way for your mental health than the other way around.
By being organized thanks to these paper supports who follow you everywhere,
You will have 50% more time to do your work because 50% of our waste of time at work lies in the fact that without the necessary supports,
It is from our thoughts that we think we can start the job,
That we organize ourselves,
That we create,
That we give life to our ideas and that we think in loops about the way we are going to do the job.
And most of the time we forget all that thinking so we are simply thinking about the same things over and over again but haven't started a job yet.
So remember these tips,
I hope they will help you.
Namaste.
