Our lives are so demanding these days.

This practice is intended to help you ease into the sometimes difficult transition from work to home.

You may wish to do this practice with a pen and paper nearby,

Or allow the practice to be solely in your mind and body.

Let's start with a deep breath in and out.

Good.

With your eyes closed,

Take a moment to inventory your thoughts.

Now imagine these work thoughts falling out of your mind and onto a page.

If you desire to write these down,

Please do so now.

Your thoughts are emptying onto the page where they are safe.

Your work here in this moment is complete.

There's no need to bring these thoughts into your life outside of this space.

Take a moment to appreciate the work you have done here today.

Think of the impact of your work.

Allow yourself a sense of pride for getting through another day.

Take another deep breath in and out.

As you're ready yourself to leave this workspace,

Search your thoughts once more for anything lingering that can be left here in this space.

Then imagine these thoughts tumbling out and staying safely in your workspace.

Now begin to bring your attention to the home space you will be entering into.

Take a moment to set an intention for how you can show up for yourself in your home.

Good.

Now let's take three deep breaths together.

Ready?

I appreciate your willingness to join me in this practice today and for taking the time to honor and nurture yourself in this transition.
