As we move into understanding what we can release,
Let go of,
Fast from,
Set boundaries with,
We then get to have the opportunity to invite what we're going to bring in,
What we're going to nurture,
Reignite,
Create,
Manifest.
And so today's practice is going to take you on a journey inside in understanding what would be meaningful for you to fast and what would be meaningful perhaps for you to replace in the absence of the thing that you are releasing.
So as always,
Come to a seated position or laying down,
Whatever is the most comfortable with you and begin to just tune into your body,
Rolling your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your wrists,
Your ankles,
Maybe even giving yourself a stretch.
Whatever you need to tune into your body and get in sync,
Knowing that this is where you are right here in this moment,
Getting prepared to go deeper within.
And once you've given your body all of those wonderful,
Wonderful responses,
Close your eyes or gaze down and begin to elongate the breath through the nose,
Feeling the belly rise and fall,
Feeling the tension release starting from your face,
Moving into your neck and shoulders,
Through your torso and arms,
Your hips and legs,
All the way down to your toes,
Anchoring your breath so that with each exhale,
You release a little bit more and noticing that on each inhale,
You replenish.
This is how boundaries and fasting works.
We release and then we replenish.
Continuing with long,
Deep belly breaths.
Feel that dance of release and replenish inside of you with each inhale and each exhale.
And let's begin by tuning into our bodies.
So you're going to have the opportunity to consider,
What might I release or fast as it relates to my mind?
And what might I release or fast as it relates to my body?
And in order to tune in to what may best serve you,
We're going to use our body as the vessel.
And just like we started with releasing all the tension and stress that may be built up,
Starting at our face and moving down to our toes,
We're going to go back to our body.
We're going to go back and we're going to start by focusing on our mind to the top of your head,
Putting your energy in that space,
Breathing in and out through your nose,
But purposefully sending your breath to your mind.
It's almost as if you can visualize a chord of light moving from your nostrils and going up into the mind.
As you become more aware with this connection,
Bring into your imagination,
Into your mind's eye,
What may not be serving you in this place.
Perhaps it's thoughts,
Perhaps it's stories,
Perhaps it's limiting beliefs.
Where might you set a boundary to something you could fast or release that currently takes up space in your mind?
And just notice it without judgment,
Simply making a note to your future self.
Now let's move down into our eyes.
These windows into the world.
What might you be seeing that is not serving you?
Perhaps it's an excessive amount of screen time.
Perhaps it is an inundation with the news.
Perhaps it's exchanges between humans in your life who are struggling.
Once again,
Just notice without judgment what you see through these eyes.
Eyes that would change your view if you let go.
I'm traveling out to our ears.
What might you be listening to that you could let go of because it's not filling you up with love?
This may be similar to what you're watching or looking at,
Or it could be completely separate.
Perhaps you're numbing yourself with more information than you need through a podcast.
Or maybe even listening to music that does not make you feel good.
What do you have control over when it comes to what gets access into these precious ears of yours?
Coming back forward to your past,
To your mouth,
Your tongue and taste buds.
What might you be putting into your mouth,
Into your body that doesn't feel good once it's processed?
Perhaps it's a guilty pleasure.
Perhaps it's a excess of something you only need a little bit of.
Perhaps it's even being unaware.
Of the connection between what you choose to take in and its impact.
Once again,
Tuning in without judgment,
Loving observation.
Where might you be able to fast,
To subtle,
To break boundaries,
To release as it relates to what you are putting into your mouth?
And what about what comes out of your mouth?
The words you choose to speak to others,
The energy you choose to express with your tone of voice,
The ability to bring people together or push them apart.
This all happens through what we choose to express through our mouths.
What might you be able to release here,
Set a boundary,
Fast completely from?
And now that you have a few more ideas of the ways in which you could fast to bring in the energy in more good and let go of what is not here for you.
Let's begin to replenish ourselves with the replacement.
What could I do instead?
Continuing with these long deep breaths and choosing one thing,
One of these areas that really stood out to you that you would like to fast,
That you would like to change,
Just one.
And see yourself doing that the way that you always do without any judgment,
Just observing.
And now see yourself letting that go,
Not showing up in that way or behaving in that way or making that choice,
But instead replacing it with something that does serve you.
What would that look like?
What would that sound like?
Might it have a taste?
What feelings has it created?
Inside of you as a result of making this higher vibration choice and bring a smile to your face because you know this is possible for you.
Because you know that you have chosen a journey to alignment and that you are supported deeply in looking at the things that don't serve you,
The patterns that could feel unbreakable and standing tall with pride and confidence knowing it's simply making another choice and that you have that power.
Right here,
Right now.
All you have to do is choose it.
What a gift.
And on your next inhale,
Bring your hands to your heart center,
Feeling the beat of your queen,
Your palms.
Bowing your head towards her in gratitude,
Knowing that together can really do this.
You just have to take it one step at a time without judgment of pace.
Another big deep breath here and exhale with the sound of ah.
And when you're ready,
I encourage you to bring another big smile to your face.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Flutter your eyelids open and make a choice.
What are you going to choose to set a boundary around?
To ignite a new habit and to release so that you can truly feast on what is here to serve you and fast what is not.
