Welcome to Meditation with Mary.

So glad you decided to do something special for yourself today.

It's rare anymore that we take care of ourselves.

We take care of everybody else in our life,

But don't always spend a lot of time doing self-care kind of things.

And so,

Yay to you for deciding to give yourself a little love today.

And go ahead and find your way to a comfortable place,

Whether that be sitting down or laying down or wherever you're most comfortable.

And close the door so you can find a little privacy for yourself.

If you'd like to light some incense or a candle,

Wherever you're going to be most comfortable.

There's no perfect way to do meditation,

As far as I'm concerned anyway,

Except for the kind that works for you.

Because the best meditation is the meditation that works for you.

So now that you're going ahead and find a place to where you can be comfortable for the next few minutes,

I want you to go ahead and take a deep breath in.

And hold your breath and let that breath go out.

And you can begin to feel your body start to be just a little bit lighter and just a little bit softer.

Go ahead and roll your shoulders back a little bit.

Breathe in again.

And as you let that breath out slowly,

Start to release your cares and happenings of the day.

Breathe in that peace,

That stillness,

That quiet.

And go ahead and breathe out.

And allow your body to just get softer and softer into your sitting or laying position.

Go ahead and feel your forehead start to release.

And your jaw.

Let it soften.

And allow the back of your neck and the back of your head to just sink further and further into that peace.

You know,

One of the things I love about meditation is it's so personal.

We can all be taking this journey together and each of us is going to get exactly what we need.

You know,

There's no perfect way to do a meditation except for what's right for you.

So no matter what you see or hear or feel,

It's the perfect part of meditation for you for this day and this time.

So we're going to imagine ourselves surrounded by a soft white light.

And that light just surrounds us and hugs us.

And we can feel the calm and the comfort and the peace.

And we know that we are safe.

And that we are right where we should be.

Right now.

Breathe in that soft white light.

Allow it just to cover every part of your body.

Imagine that it's starting at the top of your head.

Creating a crown.

Flooding down upon your forehead and your face.

In the back of your head,

Your ears.

Your neck.

Allow that softness to rest in your chest.

On your shoulders and in your arms.

Let it soften your elbows.

And your wrists.

And allow that soft light to soften your hands.

And your fingers.

Just allow that light to flow right out through your fingertips.

As if the light becomes part of the breath you're breathing.

As you breathe in the peace of this light.

Now allow the light to go down further in your chest.

And your lungs and in your heart.

And down your spinal column and your shoulder blades.

And your lower back.

Let it soften there,

Your lower back and your sciatica.

That area where we carry a lot of stress.

Just breathe in that white light and allow it just to rest there.

Leave a pillow of it there to soften you.

And to bring you comfort and peace there in your abdomen and in your heart.

And your hips.

And now take that white light down further into your legs and your thighs.

And allow that soft light to rest in your knees.

And give those knees some love.

And allow that white light to travel further down now just softening your calves.

Allowing those muscles just to feel the relax.

Give yourself permission just to take a deep breath.

And sink further into the softness.

Further into the peace.

More into the light.

And allow that light to soften around your ankles.

And around your feet.

And just allow that light to flow through your feet and out the bottoms of your feet.

As you connect with the peace that exists in the world and the peace in the universe.

And your affirmation today is going to be,

I am peace.

And so as you breathe in,

Every time you breathe out,

Breathe out,

I am peace.

Breathe in.

Fill yourself with light.

And breathe out,

I am peace.

Continue to allow that light just to flow through you out the bottoms of your feet.

And out your fingertips.

Feel the peace,

The safety and the love flow into your body.

Into your life.

I am peace.

I am peace.

I am peace.

I am peace.

And now that your body is a glowing and glowing white ball of peaceful light,

We want to make sure that we can travel from this wonderful sacred place where we are.

And keep some of that peace with us.

So it's available all day every day.

So we're going to begin to close the top of our head.

And just imagine that you're kind of closing that off with a big glass bubble in.

The white light comes inside of you and just glows inside of you.

And we're going to close your fingertips off.

And we're going to close your feet and your toes.

So now not only was that white light flowing through you.

But now it is permanently inside you.

And just allow it to become a part of you.

Holy and securely inside you.

I am peace.

I am peace.

And now for protection as we go out into the world from this place.

We're going to go ahead and imagine that we have a thin veil of pink light around ourselves.

And that pink light is just going to protect us.

Often for me it's like the little pink Pepto-Bismol.

But you need to make that pink light whatever is best for you.

And I just think of it as a thin coat of a pink light.

So the outside layer that protects my clear white peaceful light.

It's just that pink white of love.

That pink light of love just surrounding me.

My head,

My toes,

The bottoms of my feet,

My hands,

My arms,

My back.

And make sure for your own protection you keep a couple of mirrors around you.

I like to put one in front of my heart.

And I put a mirror facing out on my back.

And that way anything that comes at me.

May not be love or that might not be from my highest and best.

It's kind of just reflected back upon that person that has sent it.

So use those mirrors if you would like.

And go ahead and surround yourself with your pink light.

And your love and your mirrors of protection.

Go ahead and start to wiggle your toes for me.

And your fingers.

Take your time.

There's no rush.

And slowly back to full awareness of your space and your body.

And the room you shared with today.

Just to sit in this peace for a few moments.

Remember the most important person in your life is you.

And today you will carry peace with you.

Because you are peace.

So if faith is with the challenge today.

Just grab a hold of that affirmation and remind yourself I am peace.

I am peace.

I am peace.
