Sit comfortably.

Relax.

Breathe easily.

Let your jaw loose.

Let your shoulders loose.

Have a straight back.

And a soft front.

Relax.

And be at ease.

Breathe comfortably.

If you like,

You can now begin to visualize your partner,

The person you're having a romantic relationship with,

Or any other person that you feel connected to,

That you feel close to.

Visualize them before your inner eye.

See them as they are,

As they appear in your mind.

Look at them attentively,

Carefully,

And with curiosity.

And if you like,

You can begin to send them meta.

As you look at them,

As you see them,

This person,

This human being,

May you be safe.

May you be healthy.

May you be happy.

And may you live your life with ease.

Keep holding that person in your mind,

In your presence.

And see all the things you like about this person.

The things they do that you enjoy,

The things they say that you enjoy,

How they are in the world,

All the things that you like about them.

And let that feeling grow.

And wish this person well.

And then you can add the things that you find possibly difficult about that person.

The things that maybe you are struggling with,

Or they are struggling with themselves.

And send love and ease to those parts of the person as well.

See the person at their best when this person is in her or in his element,

When they are fully living from the best part.

And love them.

And then see them also when they are in a state where they need support.

When this person is not in their best possible state of presence,

Of body,

Of mind.

And when they need to be supported,

Just picture that,

See it,

And send your love to the parts of the person that need support.

And open your mind to see this human being in their life,

In their connection,

As they go through their life,

As they live in their family,

In their environment,

With friends,

At work,

All the things they do.

And send your love and support to all those areas.

Expand your metta,

Your love,

To all the areas in the life of the person.

May you be safe from outer and inner danger.

May you be safe in your life.

May you be healthy in body and mind as you go through your life.

May you be at ease as you live your life.

May you be happy.

And if you like,

You can begin to let gratefulness enter.

The feeling of gratefulness for being a part of this person's life,

For being allowed to connect with this human being in the way that you do.

What a blessing.

What a wonderful experience.

Allow the feeling of gratefulness.

Let it sit in gratefulness.

Thank you for your practice.
