Welcome to this guided meditation.

Take a comfortable seat or lie down on a yoga mat or on the floor.

Just make sure you're comfortable.

If it feels right close your eyes and if not just allow a soft gaze.

Connect with your breath as you inhale and as you exhale.

Feel the parts of your body that are carrying some tension.

Inhaling allow the energy to flow in and exhaling allow every worry and every thought that you don't need to leave your body.

Feel the parts of your body that are touching the earth and allow those parts to relax even more.

To let go of the weight that is now being carried by the earth.

And as you keep focusing on your breath start to bring your inhales towards your tummy inflating your tummy and every exhale allowing your tummy to relax.

Inhale and inflate your tummy.

Exhale and relax it.

Keep focusing on this breath and on the next inhale allow for a second of quietness before your next exhale.

Inhale and feel that moment of stillness and exhale and let it go.

Continue like this as you direct your breath towards your tummy.

Inhaling quietness and exhaling and letting go.

Allow every inhale to be deeper and fuller and allow every exhale to be more relaxing.

Letting go more and more of everything and anything that you don't need anymore.

Inhale deeply fully and consciously quietness stillness and exhale for a little bit longer this time.

As you continue breathing start to imagine to visualize a place that for you has a special meaning.

A unique place that brings you calmness.

Maybe a still pond,

A lake,

Maybe it's a garden,

A beach,

A mountain.

Maybe it's a room in your home or even just a special chair or a sofa.

Visualize that place that for you represents stillness and peace.

Keep breathing as you visualize this place that has a special meaning just for you.

Visualize yourself there.

Maybe you're on your own or maybe you want to bring someone with you today to this special place.

Wherever you are,

Whatever this special place is for you,

There's one special spot where you want to go to sit down or lie down.

Take yourself there either alone or with whomever you've decided to bring with you today.

As you stay here in this special spot you feel the easiness,

You feel the tranquility as you keep breathing in and breathing out.

Maybe this space is open or maybe you have a window that you can look through or a door or maybe you're just happily gazing at the sky or at the ceiling.

Stay here in this moment of stillness,

Of peace,

Where you don't need anything else other than you and stillness.

Maybe you decided to come here all by yourself to gift yourself this moment just for you or maybe you decided to bring someone with you.

Either way,

You don't need to talk,

You don't need to make a conversation.

The moment is so perfect that just existing,

Just staying there gazing at the horizon or at the sky or at the ceiling or at each other,

It doesn't matter.

It is enough.

You don't need anything else.

Enjoy this moment of stillness,

Of simply existing as you slowly come back to your senses,

Look around with a smile on your face.

You feel so grateful.

You feel so grateful to know that this is available for you whenever you want it.

This is your space and it will be here whenever you need it.

Slowly you gather the strength to get back up and consciously,

Still with a smile on your face,

Feeling so grateful in your heart,

You come back into this room,

Into today and now.

Feeling calm and happy,

Knowing that no matter what happens during your day,

You can always come back to your special place.

It is there for you,

Waiting for you because that stillness and calmness comes from within you.

Connect with your breath once again as you inhale,

Bringing in the energy that you need for today and as you exhale,

Allowing your body to relax and to let go of anything that you've been carrying around and you don't need anymore.

Start to wiggle your toes,

Your fingers,

Maybe move your head from side to side and eventually blink your eyes open a couple of times.

With a smile on your face and with a smile on mine,

I thank you for this time together.
