Hi,
This is Marcia Neeland and I invite you to go to the space of meditation.
Once you are upright and comfortable,
Please gently close your eyes.
Take a moment to honor the transition of going from your outer world to your inner world.
How are you feeling today?
I invite you to set an intention for today.
The intention is about kindness.
It is simply to be kind.
May you be kind to yourself and to others,
Which means being mindful of the language that we are using,
Mindful of the reactions to people and situations.
Turning your attention now to your breath.
Receive a deep breath in through your nose and breathe it out through your mouth.
And again,
Another slow,
Deep cleansing breath in and out.
Then just allow your breath to be natural now.
As you are breathing,
Visualize that you are inhaling peaceful,
Positive energy that is all around you.
As you exhale,
Visualize that you are releasing any tension,
Any anxiety,
Any constriction or pain that you might be holding in your body or your mind.
I want you to see that leaving your body through your breath.
Just more deeply relax your body.
Visualize or imagine a beautiful amethyst color light coming in through the crown of your head,
Moving in from above and down to below.
You see this light moving behind your eyes,
Relaxing all the muscles around your eyes,
Moving into your cheeks,
Down into your jaw,
Releasing any tension.
You see and feel this light moving into the back of your neck,
Relaxing the muscles of your neck and shoulders,
Down through the arms,
The triceps and biceps,
Through your forearms,
Your wrists,
All the way down to your hands and your fingers.
Now you see and feel the light moving back to the back of your body,
Relaxing the upper back,
Releasing your middle back,
Lower back,
All the way down to your seat.
Your entire back now is completely and totally relaxed.
Now the light moves to the front of the body,
Softening the big muscles of the chest,
Moving down,
Relaxing your abdomen.
Now you can see this beautiful amethyst light pouring into your entire torso,
Illuminating all of your internal organs,
As well as detoxifying and relaxing.
You see and feel that light moving into your hips and down your legs,
Relaxing your hamstrings and your thighs,
Your knees and shins and calves,
Your ankles and all the way down to your feet and your toes.
Now this beautiful protective light starts to encircle the outside of your body as well.
So just feel yourself floating in this halo of light,
Knowing that no harm can come through this light,
Only goodness,
Only positive loving energy.
Now that you're completely relaxed from the top of your head to the tip of your toes,
It's easy for you to visualize with perfect clarity.
I want you to visualize yourself going through this day with kindness on your mind,
Making time for kindness,
Extending kindness to others,
Choosing kind thoughts,
Choosing kind words,
And especially being kind to yourself.
Being very aware of what language you're using with yourself to talk to yourself,
To talk about yourself.
Today,
You find it really easy to sink into being kind.
I'm going to take the next little bit of time in stillness and silence.
Just allow yourself to float in this feeling of total well-being.
I will meet you on the other side of the silence.
