Connecting the throat chakra to your sacral chakra,
The one that sits between your navel and your genitals.
This is your joy center that supports all creativity.
Today,
We will have a look at all four chambers of breath in your body.
We will practice connecting the water element dedicated to our sacral chakra all the way up to the ether element to your throat chakra by using a particular sound frequency and each of the seed mantras available for each chakra.
Create a safe space for you to do this practice and find a comfortable seated position to start our practice for today.
We enter this temple together now and we pray for love,
For joy,
For oneness and unity,
For health and beauty,
For wisdom and abundance for all sentient beings,
Giving full freedom to this moment,
Creating sacred union within us and with nature,
Ready to remember that you are limitless,
You are infinite,
You are a luminous energy field,
You are unique.
Every inhale is a temple of love.
Every exhale is a waterfall of trust.
Let's start with bringing your awareness to your four chambers of breath and how you can use your body,
Your container,
Your vessel to move the breath into different parts of the body as you wish.
Most often in your everyday life,
You're using the lungs for breathing.
Placing your hands on top of your lungs,
Take a couple of breaths in and out,
Moving significantly this upper part of your body like so.
Beautiful.
Okay,
Now drive your next inhalation all the way down into the belly.
Place your hands now on top of your belly and feel it as it's pumping out when you breathe in and empties out navel to spine as you breathe out.
One more time,
Pumping the belly as you breathe in.
And empty it out,
Draw your navel to the spine as you breathe out.
Try it a couple of more times on your own.
You will know if you're doing it wrong if you see your upper body moving like previously.
This time,
Your upper body should not move at all.
Only your belly should inflate when you breathe in and deflate when you breathe out.
Let's try this a couple of more times.
It up and with your exhale,
Deflate.
And deflate as you breathe out.
Yes,
Which brings us to the ribcage.
Try placing your hands now onto your ribs to the left and the right of your stomach area.
Perhaps your middle fingers are touching in the middle.
And see if you can take the next inhalation here.
It is a very subtle movement,
But what you should be feeling is a slight movement of your hands being pushed outwards,
Away from your body as you breathe in.
See if you can relax the rest of your body.
You're just holding your hands gently right and left of your ribcage and you're breathing in by expanding the space inside your ribs.
So that your hands get moved outwards a little bit.
Try using this chamber of breath a couple of more times.
Note that your upper body is still not moving and that your belly is being activated but not so much inflated as before.
All the precious air is directed to the side spaces left and right.
Try it a couple of times.
Breathing in.
It's like pushing the hands outwards and breathing out.
Allow the air to come out of the body.
Breathing in one more time.
Amazing.
And now let's try placing the hands onto your back around the kidney area.
So it's not your lower back and it's not your heart space.
It's somewhere in between.
Place your hands there and see if you can take the next inhalation breathing into this part of the body.
Again,
It will be a very subtle movement.
Don't expect it to be huge.
Sometimes it makes more sense if you do this while laying on your back and onto the floor without any mattress or mat.
Try to see if you can activate this area by leading the inhaled air to this space.
Try breathing in.
And breathing out.
There's a very gentle push of the hands backwards as you're breathing in.
One more time.
Breathe in.
Splendid.
To recap the four chambers of air,
We will do a practice called a four-part breath.
In this practice,
We are inhaling four sips of inhalation each time into a specific chamber and exhale the four parts from these chambers in reverse.
So the order is the belly,
The lungs,
The ribs,
And the back.
And when we exhale,
We start from the back,
Reversing through the ribs,
The lungs,
And last the belly.
Okay?
So it sounds like this.
I'm inhaling air through brief sips of inhaled air through first the belly,
Then the lungs.
I'm breathing in through the nostrils,
Then the ribs,
And then the back.
Hold your breath here for two seconds and start releasing.
First from your back,
Then the ribs,
Then the lungs,
And last the belly.
By this point,
You are absolutely empty of air.
Belly button to the spine.
Try this a couple of times.
Breathing in from the belly,
From the lungs,
From the ribs,
And from the back.
Holding for a couple of seconds.
Relax any muscle and start releasing from the back,
Ribs,
The lungs,
And the belly.
One more time.
Breathing in,
Pumping up the belly.
Here we go.
Inhaling from the lungs,
From the ribs,
From the back.
Holding here for a couple of seconds and start releasing from the back,
From the ribs,
From the lungs.
So in the end,
It can sound like a uniform breath without pausing and still keeping your awareness to the chambers of breath being activated along each inhalation and each exhalation.
Try this a couple of times without any pauses.
Breathing in from the belly,
The lungs,
The ribs,
And the back.
And releasing from the back,
Ribs,
Lungs,
Belly.
One last time.
Breathing in,
Holding,
Relaxing any muscles,
And releasing.
Take a breath and sigh.
Relax your jaw,
Opening your mouth until there is a gentle click in your ear.
Maybe you'll feel it,
Maybe not.
And then you feel your ear open,
Your jaw open,
Your throat chakra open,
Your heart chakra open.
Using your sighs,
A sound similar to your yawning sound,
Allow for more expansion into your vertical channel from the throat and all the way down into your belly.
Your belly holds your second chakra,
Which is the sacral chakra,
The center of your creativity,
Your joy center,
Which means that if your throat chakra gets blocked,
Your sacral chakra gets blocked too,
And the other way around.
So let's come together,
Practicing humming and toning in different frequencies to clear and align these chakras and the ones in between.
First,
Let's chant together the sound hum for as long as your breath can hold comfortably.
This frequency is for your throat chakra.
Visualize the color sapphire blue.
And copy me while I'm toning.
Come in with your voice.
Deep breath in.
Hum.
Hum.
Beautiful.
And now let's do the same with this frequency,
Which corresponds to your sacral chakra.
You can visualize the orange color for this one.
And copy me while I'm toning.
Come in with your voice.
Our sound is vamm.
Deep breath in.
Very good.
And now let's see if we can fit them both in the same breath.
First,
Vamm.
Second,
Hum.
Sounds like this.
Deep breath in.
Let's tone together.
Here we go.
Vamm.
Amazing.
Let's create a pathway for these two sounds,
Including the two sounds which lay between them.
The solar plexus chakra and the heart chakra.
Our sounds are vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
So we chant together like this.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Ready?
Let's go.
Deep breath in.
And vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Deep breath in.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
One more time.
Deep breath in.
Beautiful.
And while we continue with the same toning pattern,
See if you can visualize these specific colors beneath your closed eyes.
Starting with the orange,
Then yellow,
Then green.
And then blue.
Once again,
Our pattern is vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
And our chakra colors visualization are orange,
Yellow,
Green,
And blue.
So let's try this together.
Take a deep breath in and focus on the colors.
Here we go.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Deep breath in.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
And deep breath in.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Highly activational.
Before we close today's session,
Let's add the rest of our chakras for our daily cleansing.
We will repeat the sequence three times,
Incorporating the base chakra,
Plus the third eye and the crown chakra.
It sounds like this.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Ready?
Let's go.
Deep breath in.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam.
Second time.
Deep breath in.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Enjoy this.
Deep breath in.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Beautiful.
Take a deep breath in.
Any sound we release through your exhalation,
You've done well.
Two more times.
Taking a deep breath in.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
Letting go a funny sound through your exhalation.
Last time.
Adding a gentle shake in the chest or the hips.
Inhaling deeply.
Vamm,
Ram,
Yam,
Hum.
And letting it out.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
The human voice needs no training.
It is already there.
Finished and perfect as an entity sounding in the ideal world.
What it is waiting for is liberation.
See you tomorrow for day three.
Vocalizing your feminine.
Take good care of yourself,
Your beloved ones and Mother Earth.
