The conclusion ww.

Sbs血老師物 пот coefficient Come into a comfortable posture in which you can remain aware and alert.

Take a few moments to attend to your breathing.

Notice each inhalation and each exhalation.

As you settle into your breathing,

Notice how your breath interacts with your body.

As you become increasingly tranquil,

Take a moment to reflect upon a beautiful,

Natural setting.

It could be a place you've been,

Heard about,

Or imagined.

There are many attributes to a place which cause us to define it as beautiful.

Reflect upon what makes the place you've chosen a beautiful one.

Your own mind,

Too,

Is a natural setting.

It has many features.

Some change quickly,

Like the light of day,

The weather,

Or a seashore.

And others seem to stay the same for a very long time,

Like an old tree or a mountain.

Begin to observe and investigate how your mind has a variety of features.

There may be a belief that sits steadily in the background.

Perhaps a bodily sensation makes itself seen intermittently.

Thoughts drift in and out of the scene,

Like the wind.

Other sensations may be more like waves,

Or even a gale at times,

Very persistent.

If the scene becomes overwhelming,

You can always return to the breath.

The breath is the aspect of this setting,

Which is both always there and always changing.

Continue this exploration with breath as the anchor to which you return.

Thank you for watching!

You you you Another metaphor for your mind being like a natural landscape is the sea.

There are discrete phenomena,

Like waves and ripples,

Currents above and below,

Influence from wind and tides,

And there is also the fact that the sea is a unified whole.

It is not sufficient to only view the multitude of phenomena as many separate things,

Nor is it possible to always only view it as one big thing.

There is skill in discerning which perspective to take in each moment.

Again,

Take a few moments to notice the many features and subtleties of your being,

And use as an anchor the understanding that all of these aspects combine to make a unified whole.

Thank you for watching!

You you you Consider that it is within your power to create a beautiful place to bring with you wherever you go.

As a final exercise,

We will explore the possibility of intentionally cultivating kindness or goodwill.

It has been said that goodwill,

In its unlimited form,

Is one of the qualities which adorns an awakened heart and mind.

Sometimes the easiest way to bring about this feeling is by thinking of someone with whom you have an uncomplicated relationship,

Someone who you can imagine looking at you with caring eyes,

A child,

A parent or grandparent,

A dear friend,

A beloved pet.

Hold someone of this description in mind.

When someone looks upon you with kindness,

It creates a memorable felt sense of happiness.

Likewise,

Your kindness to others has created this feeling.

Explore your understanding of this feeling as you continue to sit in a comfortable posture,

Your breathing calm and natural.

Allow the feeling of goodwill toward yourself and others to become the primary focus of your mind.

Thank you.

You offer gratitude to yourself for making the time and space to meditate today just as a beautiful landscape has been crafted by the powers of nature steadily over the course of time so too does a practitioner's heart become shaped through wise practice May you find peace and beauty in your own heart.

Thank you.

Not what I was expecting, in such a wonderful way. Unlike “beautiful place” meditations which may subtly encourage escapism, Mark invites us to understand how special places share important characteristics with our very own selves. What a practical and deep peace, this realization brings...

A very beautiful and useful meditation. I have bookmarked it so I can return again and again. I love the analogy of my mind and a beautiful place. I enjoyed the concept of looking around my mind, getting to know it better. (I should have brought a flashlight!) I also just love the sound of the large gong at the end. It was a well spent 15 minutes. Thank you!
