We live in a world where every moment,

Every interaction,

And every environment we find ourselves in influences who we are and who we become.

Today I want to take you on a journey to explore the profound impact of our surroundings on our mindset and personality.

Our environment is not just the physical space we inhabit.

It's also the people we interact with,

The media we consume,

And the thoughts we entertain.

From the moment we wake up to the time we go to sleep,

Our surroundings shape our beliefs,

Attitudes,

And ultimately our personality.

Our environment is stronger than willpower.

This profound statement highlights the undeniable influence our surroundings have on us.

No matter how strong our will,

If we continually expose ourselves to negative influences,

It becomes increasingly difficult to maintain a positive mindset.

Think about the people you spend the most time with.

Are they uplifting and supportive or do they drain your energy and bring you down?

It's often been said that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.

Consider spending time with individuals that support the reality you want to live in,

Support the mindset you want to embody,

Support the personality you wish to live out day to day,

Helping you to grow bigger,

Grow wider,

Root deeper into your unlimited potential here in this life.

That doesn't mean to surround yourself with people that only agree with what you're saying.

In fact,

Often the best people to keep in mind are the ones that are honest with you and have their own set of beliefs as well,

But they love and support and hold you high,

Helping you to live in alignment with the vision that you have for yourself.

Surround yourself with people who inspire you,

Challenge you to be better,

And support your dreams.

These are the individuals who will help you develop a resilient and positive mindset.

Our thoughts are a product of our environment.

The media we consume,

The books we read,

And the conversations we engage in all contribute to our thought patterns.

It's often been said that to change your reality,

First change your thoughts.

By consciously choosing to expose ourselves to positive influences or influences that shape us into the people or the beings that we wish to be and consume uplifting content that energizes us,

We can reprogram our minds for success and happiness.

Our physical surroundings also play a crucial role in shaping our mindset.

A cluttered,

Disorganized space that can lead to a cluttered,

Chaotic mind.

On the other hand,

A clean,

Serene environment can promote clarity and peace.

Yogananda once advocated for simplicity and harmony in our living spaces.

He believed that a serene environment can help us cultivate inner peace and focus.

So take a moment to evaluate your surroundings.

Are they conducive to your growth and well-being?

If not,

Consider making changes that will create a more positive and inspiring space.

One of the most powerful tools that is now,

Thankfully,

Gaining a lot of popularity but is still rarely practiced by the majority of people is meditation.

Through meditation,

We can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts and our emotions,

Allowing us to consciously choose how to respond to our environment.

By practicing meditation,

We can tap into an infinite source of peace and inner wisdom,

Which can help us navigate any external challenges.

So no matter what chaotic winds are blowing,

You are able to stay centered and grounded and calm amidst whatever weather is outside.

While our environment has a significant impact on us,

We also have the power to influence our environment through self-discipline.

Self-discipline is overcoming negative influences and achieving our goals,

Regardless of the environment that we have around us.

This empowers us to create an environment that supports our growth and success when we take control of our actions and decisions,

Regardless of our external circumstances.

Our environment has a profound impact on our mindset and personality.

However,

We are not powerless in the process.

By consciously choosing positive influences,

Creating uplifting spaces,

And practicing mindfulness and self-discipline,

We can shape our environment to support our unlimited potential.

So take a moment here and consider what environment will best nurture your mind,

Elevate your spirit,

And empower you to become the best version of yourself.

Remember this,

Change begins with us,

And as we transform our environment,

We transform our lives.

Thank you very much for your wonderful inspiration and your clear words. Yes, that is the environment I create, and it is the same inside and out. We have a great opportunity to move downstairs in our house and our children will move into our apartment upstairs. Then the whole truth comes out. My husband laughs and says, we can do it, honey, definitely all the drawers and cupboards and all the things, now is the chance to let go of something. My mother died and freed up two large apartments. It is wonderful to let go of everything and get rid of it. There are no more worries. It is nice to create new space and to really feel comfortable inside, but of course it is also a process and thank you for your meditation, that helps so much with letting go. Sometimes I feel guilty when I throw away things from my parents that meant so much to them back then, but it is their life and their things and I know very well that I have my life and am allowed to take my things, that is all right and yet it is often painful, but with meditation I create very good paths and I am courageous. For several years now I have been practicing meditating every morning to start the day and to serve others, to make everything beautiful for everyone and to respect when there are limits and I get tired. I am seeing more and more where I am overstepping boundaries and thanks to meditation I am also starting to love myself more and to reflect on where I am really at peace with myself. That is very nice and your words help me, I can accept what you are saying very well. Thank you very much.
