Power is tricky. It’s often wielded in really unhealthy ways, and even very ethical people avoid accessing even healthy amounts of power, for fear of harming others. Use this heart Remembrance to find your heart’s relationship to Power, and to help it become even healthier, from a place of care and surrender, without collapse. A'udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem In the name of the one most compassionate,

Most merciful,

Most kind.

This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business.

I find that in this moment,

The topic,

The struggle,

The focus around relationship with power is up quite a bit for me,

For many people.

And so I want to invite you to first just notice how you're feeling in your own heart and in your own being.

How much space there is to feel exactly how you're feeling.

And noticing your heart's relationship to power.

It could be whether and how you feel a sense of empowerment in your business,

Or in relationship to certain aspects of your business.

Or it might have to do with the wider world,

Politics,

In your environment,

In your community,

In your family,

In other relationships.

And that our heart's relationship to power can be very tricky,

Very fraught.

And I find that for many of us that are heart-centered,

Perhaps for you,

As a heart-centered person,

There might be a reluctance to express power because of a deep value and desire to empower others to not cause harm to others,

To not take up space that belongs to others.

And so in this remembrance,

I want you,

I want to invite you,

I want to give permission for your heart,

For you to face what is it like when power is available to your heart.

When power is available to your heart.

When it comes close to your heart,

When you have access to power.

And so you have access to certain decisions or actions,

Ways of affecting your world.

What happens in your heart as you approach that power,

As you face that power,

That possibility of empowerment?

What do you notice happens in your heart?

Is that 100 percent right?

I'm noticing.

.

.

What is it that your heart is needing?

What is it that your heart is asking for?

In order to embrace,

Step into,

Express power.

Is your heart waiting for something,

Thirsty for something?

Hmm.

.

.

What happens when you invite in whatever it is that your heart needs?

What does it mean?

What does it look like?

What does it feel like?

What do you perceive,

Sense,

Notice as you move towards embracing power that is given to you,

Power that is available to you,

And you move towards expressing it?

What do you notice?

And now,

Bringing your attention to your heart high up in your chest,

Begin to call the name of the Divine.

Begin to remember the presence of the source of love and power.

What do you notice when you begin to remember the Divine?

When you begin to ask or notice or wonder,

Is the Divine available even here?

Is love present even here in the expression of power,

In the heart's desire for power?

What shifts,

What changes,

What do you notice in your heart's relationship to power in the presence of the Oneness?

What changes in your relationship to power when you know the Divine is present,

When you can see,

Sense,

Perceive,

Feel somehow the presence of the Divine guiding you and supporting you and helping you to express power?

How does that change the reality that you're facing?

And now,

After a short animated presentation,

The Does it change or shift how you see power?

About the possibilities of how you express power?

Does it expand those options at all?

Do you see anything different about the impact of power expressed when the Divine is present in your heart,

Guiding your hand and your tongue?

Hmm… Oh Just noticing in yourself any authentic appreciation or gratitude for anything that you have experienced or received during this remembrance.

Letting yourself express that to the Divine.

Taking a nice gentle breath and bringing your attention back.
