Aldubillahi minash shaitanir rajim.
Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim.
In the name of the One Most Compassionate,
Most Merciful,
Most Kind.
This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business.
Welcome to Monday Remembrance.
And as we move towards healing of trust,
It's very important to make space for all the ways that we're thirsty for trust,
That we need trust.
Allah.
Really encourage you all to take a nice gentle breath and to notice how you're feeling in this moment.
Allah.
There is a real legitimate need for trust.
And there are so many places,
So many ways that trust can elude us,
Can elude you.
Sometimes we don't trust our business.
Is our business capable of succeeding?
Can it produce?
We don't necessarily trust that.
Feeling the lack of trust in the business.
And sometimes we don't trust the community around us.
Not that there's anything wrong with anyone,
But are they really there for us?
Are people really there for us when we hit the wall,
When we're stuck,
When we're overwhelmed,
When we're tired,
When we're needy?
Is that really available?
Allah.
And do we trust ourselves?
Do you have trust in yourself?
Do you have capabilities and gifts that are actually going to make a difference?
Noticing the lack of trust.
If it's there,
How hard it is to trust yourself.
Allah.
And do you trust the Divine?
Is it possible to trust the Divine?
So many ways that it seems that perhaps the Divine wasn't available.
It didn't come through.
So hard.
So much need.
So much need of trust.
Real aching.
Just trust that there is care and support.
Just letting yourself feel the lack of trust.
The concern that the support is not there.
Allah.
And beginning to ask,
What does trust really mean?
What does trust,
What has trust meant to you up until now?
Often we have unconsciously taken on a meaning that trust is somehow that things will line up exactly how we want them.
So it's good to notice,
It's helpful to notice what our heart's expectations are around trust.
What does it mean to be able to trust a community or to trust friends or family?
What does it mean to trust yourself?
What does it mean to trust your business?
What does it mean,
What does it mean to trust the Divine?
I'm just taking a moment to be with that question.
Allah.
Just being with that question,
Being with that lack of trust,
With an open heart,
And just noticing.
Beginning to remember the Divine,
Remember the source of love,
And just ask your heart to be with that space,
That lack,
That need,
That thirst,
Without answers,
Without changing anything.
Allah.
Allah.
Just taking the time to notice the thirst for trust,
And to notice what we think trust is,
As opposed to what it really is.
What our expectations and stories about it.
Begins to open the space of curiosity of what is here for our hearts,
And for ourselves,
And for our businesses,
And from the Divine.
And helps us move out of the certainty that the ego has,
That it cannot trust,
That there is no trust,
And nothing is dependable.
Just moving into the curiosity of what if,
What is here.
And being very cautious,
Or very patient,
Spacious.
Watching both the voices that say that you cannot trust,
And also watching the voices that say you should trust.
And to really give yourself the space to be in the not trusting,
Yet.
And also the curiosity about that.
Not rushing to an answer,
Not rushing to find solid ground,
But just noticing what it's like to be in the uncertainty,
In the curiosity.
Is trust available?
Can I trust?
What is here?
I am so thirsty for this.
Allah.
Allah.
Just being with the Divine,
Just being with your open curious heart,
And just noticing,
Just noticing.
The thirst for trust,
And just noticing any authentic gratitude,
Any authentic appreciation,
For anything that you might have experienced during this remembrance.
Letting yourself express that.
Taking a nice gentle breath,
A full breath.
Holding the remembrance in your heart.
Letting your attention turn.
Allah.
