Hi,

Welcome to this meditation.

In this meditation we're going to focus deep down into our base chakra,

Into awakening and activating Mooladhara chakra.

So in this meditation we will become really grounded into the core of our being and to resonate deeply with our physical body.

So it's really important that you begin to take the time now to really feel into your body by breathing deep into your body and feeling deep within your body into the connection with the earth below,

The base of your spine,

With your buttocks,

With your feet,

Feeling the weight of your body being plugged right down into the living energy matrix that we call Mother Earth.

Fill your spine up with presence,

Feel how your base chakra is plugged into the earth and lifts up through your spine like the trunk of a tree.

Feel how the mind opens up from the top of the spine like the infinite possibilities that are contained within the branches and leaves and flowers of a tree as we open up to the flowering of consciousness within this meditation of the tree of life,

The tree of light.

Base chakra,

Time to close the eyes and root right down into the earth.

Surrender all the weight,

All of your weight,

All of your troubles,

Surrender all of your problems,

Completely let go and surrender all of your worries,

Cast them aside and let them simply to pass down into the earth as you drop down,

Deep down into the earth below,

Feeling ground resonating into the sound of your base.

Deep within the base of the spine where the sleeping serpent of the Kundalini Shakti sleeps,

You have the ability to come right back here,

Home into the resonance of the electromagnetic field of this majestic planet that we call earth,

That we call home.

You are always here and now on this earth at this time.

Imagine you are a tiny little acorn that has fallen from the vast open branches of an oak tree or another tree that you know so well.

And as the acorn begins to fall and fall and fall free from the sky with no cares or worries,

Completely surrendered,

Completely abandoning the safety of the branches of the tree to fall into the earth,

To fall into the destiny,

To embed itself,

To impregnate itself into the depths and bowels of the earth,

Into the earth of all creation,

Into the depth of the womb of the mother,

Surrendering to the path of life on earth.

As the sun begins to shine upon the earth and it begins to marry with the waters that flow through her,

And with the marriage of the fire and the water begins to stir the life within the heart of you as the acorn within the earth,

You begin to respond to the light by reaching for it,

Beginning to expand and open up the presence within your being and you begin to grow,

You begin to grow,

Grow,

Grow towards the light.

At the same time you begin to press down and crack through the acorn,

Beginning to send roots down,

Down,

Down into the earth,

To root yourself into her,

To root yourself into the earth,

To root yourself into being and from the depths of the roots that are growing down,

Down,

Down into the earth,

You begin to rise up,

Up,

Up and break out cracking through the top of the acorn and begin to push,

Push,

Push yourself up to open up past the soil and reach and break free from the earth and reach up into the air,

Into the sky.

You begin,

The more you feel drawn to go down,

Down,

Down and to send your roots deep into the earth,

You begin to feel how you can really allow yourself to rise up,

Up,

Up and become this beautiful little tiny shoot and the tiny shoot becomes a little plant and the little plant becomes bigger and bigger and into a little tree and eventually this little tree begins to become a bigger tree,

Growing,

Growing,

Growing until eventually it becomes a solid vast oak tree,

So rooted down now into the ground,

So completely mature,

This strong rooted oak,

This trunk that stands the test of time through hundreds of years and sees so many changes.

Militate on the strength,

Militate on the solidarity of this trunk,

That,

Meditate on the depths of the roots that go so deeply down into the earth and conversely how it's able to open up to the vastness of the branches into the sky that reach up into the sun and into the moon and into the stars at night.

Notice how the tree perhaps hardly realises which way is up and which way is down as it is open up to heaven and sky as one as a reflection of the other.

Heaven and earth are one within the consciousness of the tree of life that holds all the mysteries of being and all the seven vibrations of life that are contained within your chakras.

As night becomes day and day becomes night the tree stays true.

As spring rises up and all things come to life and all the flowers and leaves on the plant come to life the tree is still rooted in being.

Then in the fullness of the summer when all the flowers come to their fullness and all the majesty of all the forest around and all are dancing and vibrating full of life the tree is rooted in its fullness.

And then as the autumn comes and the leaves begin to fall and the flowers begin to drop the tree that you are is still rooted in being,

Rooted in fullness.

And as winter comes and the snow turns all things into decay and into death and all the tree is bare and the last leaf falls into the snow you as the tree is still rooted in being,

Still rooted into the ground,

Still rooted into the sky,

Still rooted in being.

As all the seasons change you are still here unaffected.

You are the solidity of the oak tree,

The trunk and your spine are one.

As the many things happen around you in the world you simply are happy to be here now as the tree unaffected by what goes on in the world,

Simply rooted in being.

For hundreds of years you stand the test of time.

You can last many human lifetimes and many many lifetimes of the animals that you see in the forest around you.

For you time is slow.

For you time is eternal.

For you there is only being here now still.

One day perhaps even the oak tree will have its day and will feel that it's time to give itself back to the earth and to go on another adventure.

At this point the tree will simply flower its last flower and drop its last leaf and will surrender its being back to the full consciousness of great spirit.

And eventually the tree will fall and wither and die and give itself back to the earth mother.

But notice even then in death the tree begins to sprout new life.

That the being of the tree that was the oak tree is still present.

Nothing that is ever real ever dies.

You are that eternal spirit.

Even when your body passes away you will still be here.

You are eternal.

You can never die and to know that you can never die is to relax so deeply and feel so grateful and to be so present within your physical body as simply a fullness of expression that is here and now.

But you can never die.

You are rooted in being and to know that is to be really connected into your base and to be really connected into your body and to be really connected into the rootedness in being.

And within your rootedness of being perhaps you will want to take a few nice long deep breaths in and out through the nose if possible and really allow this rootedness of being to fill up your presence,

Fill up the presence within your breath,

Fill up the presence within your body,

Deep within your cellular memory.

Let it touch every cell.

Let your awareness penetrate the bones within your body.

Let the awareness penetrate the flowing blood that courses around your veins.

Let your awareness touch every organ within your body.

Let it touch all the skin that envelops all of your body.

Feel alive.

You are here.

It's a miracle and you are eternal.

Fully embrace this moment.

Fully embrace the body.

Fully embrace all that you are.

It's amazing.

You are here.

You are now.

This is it.

You are real and it is okay to feel that strength within you.

You are the oak tree.

You are that strength.

You are connected to being.

You are home.

You are here in this moment always.

And when you're ready,

Simply remember where you are in the space and begin to take the rootedness of your tree,

The rootedness of your being into the world and begin to feel safe and contained and protected and to see how you can begin to take this self-assurance out into the world.

It's now safe to return.

You can open your eyes.

This meditation is now complete.

Thank you.
