Sweet greetings of peace.
This meditation is on acceptance and the joy of life and is conducted,
Surrounded by nature,
With a waterfall in the background.
So all background sounds you hear are as they are.
Nothing has been edited.
So sit very comfortable,
Yet alert,
Ideally with the back straight,
And allow your whole body to completely relax.
And for the next short period of time,
Have the thought,
There's nothing needed to do,
Nowhere needed to go.
All things requiring your attention are waiting at a particular point in time.
And you'll get to them in time,
At the right time.
So let's now take a deep breath in,
And breathe out slowly,
Relaxing completely,
Allowing your whole body to completely relax,
Releasing and letting go of all tightness and tension.
There may be many things occurring in your life.
There may be many things happening all around you.
And yet,
There is always the choice to allow them to be as they are,
To accept everything as it is,
Not ignoring,
But simply accepting the reality of all events.
And when we do this,
Deeply accept the continuous flow of life,
The continuous unfolding of new scenes in front of us.
And slowly,
And sometimes very quickly,
The realization occurs that there's very little we have to do,
For we can only act now,
In this present moment.
The past has gone one second ago.
In reality,
It is as old as a thousand years.
It is past.
And a future we will deal with when it's arrived.
But what we do know is how we perceive this moment,
How we experience ourselves,
How we relate with the scenes and situations currently unfolding in front of us.
That is determining our life experience.
So why not decide from this moment onwards to simply deal with each moment as it comes.
It doesn't mean not to plan or prepare,
As both are needed for a smooth,
Peaceful life.
But you can only live now.
Your actions are always now.
So let's give attention on this present moment to do what is needed to be done,
To say what is needed to be said,
And to deal with whatever events are needed to be dealt with.
And why not realize the investment we make in each moment,
The investment of love,
Of energy,
Of peace,
Of happiness,
That spiritual investment,
The investment of our inner feelings,
Is the one that multiplies greatly.
For every scene comes and goes,
But the feeling with which we experienced it,
That continues within us.
And as we consciously choose to use peace in our thoughts,
Patience and attention in our interactions and conversations,
Focus and determination and happiness in our actions,
The more we bring these virtues into play,
The more it becomes increasingly natural to do so.
And one starts to perceive that there is a life that I can live,
Where I do many things,
Deal with whatever comes,
But come from a deeper inner space,
One from where there is a deep-seated contentment and inner joy and a trust that I will always have what's needed for every scene and every task or every situation.
And trust in this brings even deeper peace,
Greater calm and a joyous anticipation of life unfolding.
So whatever our life has been to date,
So it has been,
But how I choose to live now,
That is active,
Present,
In my hand and always is in my hand.
So from moment to moment,
To feel that peace inside that you are,
To feel the love that you are,
To feel the inner power and strength that is sitting at the core of your being,
To feel the joy that you are.
All of this,
To feel it,
Experience it and allow it to inform your every expression and just watch the wonders of life as things change,
For they can but change.
That is,
It is inevitable.
As your attitude,
As your vision and perception changes,
Your world automatically reflects that newness back to you.
So who are you?
A living being of peace,
Love,
Power and even bliss.
So if that is what you are,
Why not live from that state?
You are peaceful.
You are loveful and lovable.
You are joyful,
Joy-giving and joy-receiving.
This is not idealization,
But spiritual reality.
Now is our choice.
How shall we live?
And just to start with this moment.
So as this meditation gradually comes to a conclusion,
Perhaps to formulate that attitude and awareness,
Let me be in my state of inner virtues and start to experiment living from this inner,
Satisfied state.
And then let the self observe the wonders as they materialize.
So let's now spend a few moments contemplating,
Formulate that thought and attitude and bring that now into the forefront of the mind as we become present and now active for the rest of our day.
