It's about time.

It's about time.

And it's about,

It's about,

It's about to start.

Welcome.

Welcome here in this body voice law experience that is a routine format where you can join me to witness my experience and create your own experience with your voice and your body.

And we're here together for around 15 minutes.

We will just witness how our body feels,

How our voice wants to express itself.

So you've got nothing to,

To,

You know,

To perform.

There's no right or wrong here.

We're just here to enjoy your body and our voice as they are right here right now with all that we can embrace as best we can.

So this is not a copy and paste method.

The aim is only really to explore sounds and sensations and to bring some more awareness in our body.

So we will start in a standing position today just because as I feel like this,

But sometimes we,

Sometimes we lay down,

Sometimes we sit.

Of course you have just to respect your own needs and to response to your body.

So if it's easier for you to sit down or to lie down today,

Just do,

Do you,

Do you.

And that's,

That's great.

Right.

So let's put our feet flat on the floor and take a few seconds to bring some more awareness.

And we bring awareness by just sensing the touch of our body in contact with the floor or with the chair if you are sitting.

So just feel all the points of your feet in contact with the floor,

With the earth.

Feel that you are supported.

You know,

We oftentimes put so much tensions,

So much tension in our joints,

In our muscle,

In our body,

Because we think we have to fight to survive,

To be here,

To push.

But Mother Earth is here to,

To support us.

So just give yourself maybe 5% more of ease and lightness.

And you can gently move if you want with slow movements.

One of the pillars of the Body-Voice-Flow practice is that we go quite slowly so that our nervous system can rest and that flow and creativity can emerge.

And now let's just pay attention to the space around us in all directions.

So sense the air in front of you.

And maybe you can have even a measure of the distance between yourself and the wall in front of you.

And do the same with the space behind you and on your sides.

And this is also a great,

A great exercise.

To develop our proprioception but also interoception so that we have more safety in our body.

And pay attention to the space above your crown.

Just feel this space and feel that it's really free.

You've got all the space you want to grow and breathe.

And maybe we can take some free,

Light breathings.

Just allow yourself to stretch all the parts of your body that want to be stretched.

You can do the same as me or go with your own way to stretch yourself.

Open,

Just open and then release in all directions.

And we're still standing but of course we can lift our feet.

Let's just feel that we can expand ourselves here.

You know,

Everything is safe enough.

No one is limiting you.

No one is judging you.

Maybe your mind is trying to do that but that's the job of the mind,

To judge ourselves.

And you can yawn.

And if you yawn,

Please take the time to stretch all the notes of your voice while you are yawning.

All right.

And we come to the center.

And we will get in touch with our voice just to check how it sounds today.

I invite you to call yourself by your name,

Just as you want now.

Miriam.

And let the silence afterwards.

And then we'll do the same.

So you will say your name out loud once again but this time you consciously choose how you want to call yourself.

It can be loud.

It can be very quiet.

It can be quick.

It can be soft.

It can be sung.

It can be whatever you want.

Just try something,

Decide something with your head and then do it.

You can add movements if you want.

Miriam.

All right.

And we stop.

We don't have to do it once again.

We just stay with what was there.

It's just perfect as it is.

As long as it's spontaneous,

That's great.

Right.

We will shake our body.

And again,

You do you.

So today I particularly need to be quite fast when I'm doing that and to shake a lot my hands.

But maybe for you,

You need to go,

You know,

More slowly or just to shake your chest or your hips.

You know,

Each one of us have got their own dance to do that.

And we're just helping our vagus nerve to relax a bit.

Ah.

Okay.

If that's comfortable for you,

You can put hands on your chest and we'll do a pretty short series of humming.

So the right note is your note in this moment.

You close your mouth,

Release your jaws,

Release any tension you can.

Just by noticing there is a tension,

This can help your body to release it a bit.

And we will hum.

And I let you go and I will continue to speak just to guide you.

If you want to vary a bit,

You can move your tongue inside your mouth and feel the vibrations.

You can also try a different pitch,

Higher or lower.

Just experience this and notice how it feels and how it sounds inside your mouth.

And then we'll open our mouth and do some stretches with the mouth.

And we just get closer.

We will chew with our mouth open.

You might be quite familiar with this already.

So just speak and you can say whatever you want.

Up and close,

Up and close.

And don't force too much.

Sometimes we want to stretch for real,

For good.

No,

It's just,

You know,

Something that might stay quite easy.

And then you can go forward.

Be gentle with yourself.

If you tend to have tight jaws like me,

This is very good,

But don't force anything.

Okay,

And give yourself a gentle massage on your face just by gently sweeping your face softly with your hands.

As if we were touching our face for the first time.

And then once again,

We will hum,

Let's say,

For three times.

So put your hands on your face,

Maybe on your cheeks or on your eyes.

Close your mouth and hum.

Well,

Of course,

You can play with that.

Here we are just in a routine that is quite short,

So I don't go further.

I don't dig that,

But you can do it by yourself if you want.

There are many variations you can induce.

Just trying different pitches like previously,

Or maybe moving your hands from a place to another just to check where it vibrates.

And there is no right or wrong answer.

Again,

It's just how you feel now with this.

And you can still stand up.

I'm just gonna sit down because it feels better to me now.

And we will play a bit.

I will make a sound and a movement.

It's a combination of a sound plus a movement.

And you will just have to try to repeat after me.

So you can watch the screen this time and imitate me.

All right,

And now we'll go in a phase where I will improvise.

And you can,

Again,

Repeat after me in the silence that I will let.

Or you can improvise by yourself.

You can harmonize.

It's really free.

That's your moment of creation,

Pure creation.

You can move.

You can dance.

And just let's see and let's hear.

So I just invite you to feel how you flow,

Manifest in yourself.

It can be a smile.

It can be a movement.

It can be a song.

Oh,

Where were you?

And just give yourself the time and space to add movements or sounds if you want.

Of course,

There's no real end to this.

It's just a wake up.

And to me,

This is my very personal practice first.

And then I will create.

I have my book to finish.

I've got to write.

So maybe some of you are also writers or creators.

Anyway,

We are just artists of our lives.

So obviously,

You will create something today even if you don't suspect it.

So I hope it felt good to you.

Just take a few moments to notice really how you feel in terms of sensations,

Right?

So maybe there are emotions of,

I don't know,

Surprise,

Sadness,

Happiness,

Boredom,

Anxiety,

Joy.

Everything is welcome because it means you are alive.

And sometimes it can be quite unpleasant.

But if there is some flow here inside of you,

That means there is space to help the emotion to navigate and to be released.

And in terms of sensation,

Just try to feel.

Maybe there is a place inside of you that feels whole or that feels tight or some place that is more relaxed,

Spacious.

Maybe light,

Maybe heavy,

You know,

The more we pay attention,

The more we're able to really get in touch with the sound and with the sensation.

Then the more we're able to enjoy just how we feel now and let go a bit of the judgments.

Right.

So thank you for being here.

I will see you in two weeks for our next experience,

For our next body voice floor routine.

So just to let you know if you're new here,

The body voice floor practice is a holistic and creative practice that I founded years ago.

It combines mindfulness,

Awareness with somatics and vocal improvisation,

Which is really the key of my work with the voice as a singer,

As a vocalist,

Because it's just a meditation.

Improvising with the voice is like a meditation.

We let go thoughts of judgments.

We try to reconnect with the present moment and to be with what is here now.

And we try to,

You know,

Not to take ourselves too seriously so that we can reconnect with the inner child and allow ourselves to just be present.

So right.

That was all for today.

Let's just check.

Let me check the chat.

Oh my God.

No audio.

So did I really speak in front of 60 people here with no audio?

But that would be really strange because that would mean that 60 people.

Okay.

Thank you.

That 60 people were here and no one was hearing anything.

Okay.

So I'm sorry for those of you who didn't hear.

But for anybody else,

I hope that was great.

If you want to know more about this practice,

Check out my profile.

You've got also some tracks if you want to practice exercises by yourself on Insight Timer.

Follow me.

And the next live is on Wednesday.

I will be in my lab,

In my creative life with my piano just here.

So just again,

It's my morning practice to wake up.

And you're very welcome to join me to witness where my creative flow will lead me.

Hi,

Heidi.

I was disappointed the last one wasn't on.

Sorry.

Not sure what you're talking about.

But anyway,

See you in two weeks for the next Body Voice Flow routine.

Take care.

And see you on Wednesday if you want to hear some music and sing along with me.

Because,

Of course,

That is the aim.

I really don't want to have some passive people who just,

You know.

.

.

Yeah.

I mean,

The joy for me is just to know that people can feel alive.

And we feel alive not just by watching things but by participating.

And each one has their own way.

You can be very still.

You can be active.

Everything is really welcome.

Give yourself permission,

Right?

Bye,

Everyone.
