Welcome.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Whether that's seated or lying down,

Whatever feels right and good for you in your body in this moment.

I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze if you feel comfortable,

Resting your hands gently to the sides or on your lap or maybe with your palms on your heart and start to notice your breath,

Start to settle into this moment and ground down in the present and be here now.

It's no secret that life isn't easy and it's full of challenges and ups and downs every single day and it can get overwhelming with thoughts,

Emotions and even sensations in our bodies,

In our minds and in our hearts.

But I invite us to release whatever isn't serving us by grounding down in the present moment,

Practicing mindfulness and bringing awareness to our breath.

Start by noticing any sensations you may be feeling in your physical body.

Notice if you're holding on to any tension that you want to release,

Maybe in your facial muscles,

Your jaw,

Your neck or shoulders,

Your hands or feet.

And we'll take three collective breaths together to connect to those sensations and let them go.

Inhaling,

Exhale releasing.

Two more times,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Exhale releasing.

Now bring awareness to any emotions that you may be holding on to.

Connect to any feelings that aren't helping you in this moment.

Perhaps you're feeling stress,

Sadness,

Anger,

Frustration.

Whatever it is that you may be feeling in this moment,

We'll take three breaths together to release them.

Taking a deep breath in and exhale letting those feelings go.

Inhaling,

Exhaling.

Once more,

Inhale and exhale let them go.

Finally,

Notice any thoughts that might be coming up for you in this moment.

Thoughts about yourself or others that are not serving you.

And we'll take three breaths together to connect to those thoughts and let them go.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Finally,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Let those thoughts go.

I invite you to notice how you're feeling now physically,

Mentally and emotionally.

I encourage you to use the power of your breath to release any negative emotions or feelings or sensations whenever you can.

Sometimes it only takes a few moments to settle in,

Connect to your breath and let go of whatever isn't serving you.

Thank you for allowing me to lead you in this quick breathing exercise and breath awareness.

Take good care.

Thanks for helping me let go of the unwanted: stress, thoughts that don’t serve me. Breathing in hope and peace.

Calming and kind breathwork, I felt peaceful afterward
