Welcome.

I invite you to find a comfortable seat,

Crossing your legs or planting your feet firmly on the earth.

Lengthen through your spine,

Crown of your head tall,

Aligning your head over your heart and your heart over your hips.

I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze for a moment and start to bring awareness to your breath moving in and out of your body.

As you inhale in,

Find grounding in this space.

And as you exhale,

Release any tension you might be holding.

Continue to breathe in and out deeply and slowly.

Our quick meditation today is called color breathing and will focus on relieving tension and inviting in positivity.

To start,

Think of an emotion that you want to invite in.

Maybe you want to feel calm,

Energized,

Peaceful or joyful.

Next,

Assign this feeling a color.

No right or wrong answers here.

Choose a color you like or associate with this feeling.

Continue to notice your breath,

Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.

Visualize the color you picked in the center of your chest.

Hold that color in your mind and think about what it represents for you.

With each breath,

Imagine that color slowly expanding from your chest out to the rest of your body.

Spreading out to your arms,

Your legs,

Through your chest and to the top of your head.

With each exhale,

Imagine any unwanted feelings draining out of your body and replacing them with your chosen color.

Continue to follow your breath until this color washes over you from head to toe.

And finally,

We'll close this meditation with three collective breaths together.

Inhaling in,

Exhaling out.

Inhaling in,

Exhaling out.

One more time,

Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly.

Start to bring awareness back to your body.

Maybe wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Taking a stretch and when you're ready,

Opening your eyes.

I hope that this meditation helped to invite positive feelings in.

Thank you for allowing me to lead you.

Take good care.

You
