Prayer is a way of changing the way that things are happening.
It's a way of communicating and channeling your wishes,
Needs and thoughts in a way that is understood by your higher self,
By the universe and by God or however you want to call it.
That is also why in a lot of religions the hands are being used when you pray.
You either fold them together or you hold them with the palms wide open because that symbolizes this way of communication,
This way of channeling,
This way of being in touch,
Being in contact and giving and receiving.
Because let's be honest,
If we don't train our minds,
Our heads usually feel like a wild horse and a monkey playing ping pong with our thoughts.
We think about tomorrow and yesterday and these thoughts and those fears and those worries and what am I going to eat,
What am I going to cook,
Our children,
This and that.
So we are always jumping from this and that.
And the moment when you pray,
You can't really do that anymore,
Right?
Because you have to channel,
You have to be focused.
And not only this moment,
This gesture of putting your hands together is helping you do that,
It's also knowing that you are not only alone with your thoughts,
Which you never are,
But in that moment it's going to be easier for you to feel the connection that you always have because we all come from the same source of creation.
So you are always connected with that.
But sometimes in life we can't feel it,
We feel very disconnected and it's one of the saddest feelings that you can experience in your human experience here on earth.
To feel disconnected,
To feel misunderstood,
To feel like you don't matter,
You can't really get and see and you can't really be seen and all of those things,
You know.
But prayer is a way to connect yourself and to actually get deep into this feeling of being connected to the source of life,
To creation and to what you really are.
And it's also a way of getting tuned into this frequency of trust because I guess the hardest thing about praying is to actually believe what you're saying in your mind.
And that makes you more of a noble person,
A normal man,
A noble woman,
A noble whatever you want to be.
Because the word of a noble person is to be trusted.
And when you're praying,
You're practicing to trust your own words,
To trust that whatever you're saying is actually going to happen,
Actually matters.
That what you're experiencing,
What you're feeling,
What you need,
Actually matters.
Not only to you,
But to everything that is.
Because that is what you're addressing right now.
And to give you an example,
I sometimes pray for very small things.
Things that maybe you would say,
Or I would say,
Don't matter that much.
But I'm always,
Always impressed by the outcome.
For example,
When I go to see my friends in the city,
They live in very busy neighborhoods.
So it's hard to find a parking slot for my car.
But when I reach my car,
I try to always remember to say a prayer for the perfect parking slot.
And then I drive,
And by the time I reach there,
I always,
Always find the perfect parking slot right in front of their house.
And it still amazes me every time.
But it just works.
And it's so simple.
So I just say,
Creation,
Or creator of everything that is,
I thank you for the perfect parking slot.
Amen.
Amen is not necessarily something religious.
It's just like a stamp that you're putting on to the letter,
The letter of prayer,
If you want to say so.
And praying for the perfect solution is always a wonderful way of praying.
Because as a human,
As our view of the world,
It's always slightly limited.
We sometimes don't really know,
What is the perfect parking slot for me?
What is the perfect outcome?
What is the perfect solution for a problem?
So praying for the perfect solution for any kind of problem that you're having is also a wonderful prayer.
You can say something like,
Creation,
Creator of everything that is,
Heavenly Father,
Whatever you want to say.
See what you feel comfortable with.
I'm giving this problem into your hands,
And I'm thankful for the perfect solution for the problem.
And you can add something like,
I'm thankful for everything being in the highest order.
Amen.
And just see what happens.
And this is also again,
Putting yourself into a very strong frequency of trust.
Because you're giving it out of your hands.
You're not clinging on to,
I know this would be perfect,
I know it should be like this.
No,
You don't know.
Let go of that.
Let go of this idea of control.
You're just giving it into the right hands.
And you're thankful,
And you're in trust.
You're trusting that this solution is going to come.
And it's going to be good.
So if you're not a prayer yet,
A praying person,
I would really like you to try.
Just try.
See what happens.
See how far you can trust yourself with the words,
With your prayers.
And just see what happens.
Just be like a little scientist here.
Put your scientist goggles on.
And just see what the outcome is.
May you find your way to pray.
May your prayers be heard.
Especially by yourself.
My name is Marie,
And I'm wishing you a wonderful journey.
