And how magical your soul is.
So enter this sacred space with me,
Friends,
And let's enhearten your day.
I am so happy to have you here for the very first episode of the Enheartened Living Podcast.
So given this is our very first episode,
It probably makes sense to talk about what we're all doing here and what this podcast is actually about.
My name is Marie Blyth,
And I'm an energy intuitive and energy healing teacher and metaphysics teacher,
And my passion in helping others,
Working with others,
And sharing this path with others is to support the self-healer in you,
Is to help you know how powerful you are,
How powerful your heart and your soul are,
And how much wisdom you have within you.
First started doing this work professionally about 10 years ago,
A little more than 10 years ago now,
And one of the things that I noticed is that when people would come for support in healing,
They were often very quick to give their power away or want someone else to do the work for them for a variety of reasons.
Sometimes it's because we don't know how to do the work ourselves.
We are programmed that we don't have the power to help ourselves,
That someone else in a position of authority has to do that for us.
But after many years of working with others and having gone through my own really intense healing process myself,
The one thing that I've learned is that we are all our own healers and we are all our own most wise guides.
When we think of spiritual development,
We think of enlightenment and becoming spiritually enlightened.
And what's interesting is the term itself isn't bad,
But we have this cultural idea of what it means to be enlightened.
And it's something that we think very few people can achieve,
That we're always seeking it and grasping for it,
But it's very rarely attainable.
Many of those who claim to be enlightened often are not,
And we might find that out in our path as we learn discernment.
And I feel like that seeking of enlightenment can really get us tripped up on our path.
And when we seek enlightenment,
We're often looking for something outside of ourselves.
It can get very mental.
We start to want to learn all the things and consume all of the information from all of the different teachers and the books and the classes and the healing methods and the sources and get all of the certificates and prove that we've learned something or can do something.
And all of that is part of the journey.
It really is.
But eventually we seek all those things and we realize it's either not enough or it's not getting us where we want to go.
And that's definitely a lesson that I've had to learn through my journey.
The only place I was ever going to learn anything of value to my personal growth,
My personal healing was through my own heart and my own connection to spirit and the spiritual support that I have through my higher self and through my spirit guides,
My spiritual support team.
And that same thing is true for everyone.
And so that's why this podcast is called Enheartened Living,
Because our heart is the portal to our authentic self,
To our higher knowing,
To that wisdom that we have,
That we all have about what our most aligned path to healing is,
What is in our highest good,
What will get us where we want to go as a soul.
All of that comes through the portal of our own heart.
And guess who can access that?
Only you have access to the portal of your heart and the wisdom that it contains.
And that's what this podcast is about.
I've often found in my own journey of exploration that there are a lot of spiritual platitudes and quips out there that are true in many cases and are meant to be helpful in many cases.
But we can get frustrated when we don't know the path to get from point A to point B.
Of course,
It's a great idea to feel gratitude for the things that we have.
Of course,
It's a good idea to open our hearts and live with unconditional love for others and for ourselves.
Of course,
It's a good idea to stop letting our ego run the show.
But it's very difficult to figure out how to get there.
How do we start to feel that sense of deep gratitude?
When we're learning these things,
We feel it as truth.
And then we often feel less than because we can't embody that or we have a difficult time embodying what we're told we should embody in order to be more awakened,
More spiritual,
More aligned,
Whatever it is.
And the truth is that this is a path.
And in order to get to that gratitude,
To get to your purpose,
To be less aligned with your ego and more aligned with your soul truth and your heart's truth,
There's a process that we have to go through.
We have to move the things out of the way that keep us from being able to naturally inhabit that space.
It's not something that we can just snap our fingers and get there.
And so a lot of my personal journey has been a discovery process,
Working with my own spirit guides,
Communicating with them as I've gone through my own personal healing process from childhood trauma,
From ancestral wounds and trauma,
All of the cultural programming,
Past lives,
All those different things that we touch upon at different points of our healing process.
It's been my experience that the process is what's important because our learning comes from the alchemy of being unaligned in different ways and figuring out how to move into that alignment.
And that's where the gold is.
It's not about just snapping our fingers and getting to the place that we think we should be.
The real diamonds,
The real good stuff,
Even if it doesn't feel that good at the time,
Is in the alchemy.
It's in the healing process.
It's in the figuring out why we can't feel gratitude at the snap of our fingers.
It's in figuring out why repeating that mantra about how worthy we are isn't sticking.
That's where the good stuff is.
And that's how we grow spiritually.
And that's how we heal.
And so my goal as a teacher,
As a healer,
As a spiritual seeker,
And as somebody that is on the path with you is to help give you those tools to help you figure that out for yourself,
To help empower yourself as your own self healer.
To help you open your heart more and more each day and to help you embody that soul truth that is always there waiting for you.
Now,
One of those little things that we sometimes struggle with is this idea of soul truth that I just mentioned.
We're told to embody our soul truth.
And sometimes it's called divine truth,
Higher truth.
There are many words for this.
But what exactly is it?
We're supposed to embody that.
We're supposed to align with it.
But how do we define that?
This is something that I struggled with on my path.
How do I bring that soul truth in?
It seems like such an etheric and non-physical concept.
So how do we bring soul truth in?
And what exactly is it?
Our soul truth is the truth of our soul.
It's the truth that's in alignment with the highest aspects of ourself that transcends our wounds,
Our ego,
Our human programming,
Our ancestral programming and wounds,
All of the beliefs that we have that are limiting for us.
It's the truth that transcends all of that.
And we can access that soul truth through our heart.
And that's why enheartening our lives is so important.
Now,
You might be wondering how you can figure out if something you're thinking,
Feeling,
Trying to decide upon is aligned with your soul truth.
And one of the most important things I've learned from my guides in my process has been the four principles that soul truth holds for everyone,
Regardless of who you are.
So your soul truth is going to be unique to you,
But it's always going to be aligned with these four things.
The first thing you have to be aligned with if you're aligned with soul truth is unconditional love for yourself and others.
This means that we don't sacrifice our own needs,
Our own desires,
Our own truth to meet the expectations and needs of others or to try not to hurt someone else or to try not to upset someone else.
It means that we unconditionally love ourselves enough to honor our own truth and our own path in life,
Rather than allowing our choices,
Decisions,
And actions be controlled by other people.
So unconditional love for ourself and for others is not the same as unconditional compliance.
And sometimes we can get confused about that.
We might think that if we're compliant and we try to honor what other people are wanting and needing and coming from this open-hearted place of being of service,
We can really get hung up and allow people to trample all over us.
And when we're doing that,
We're not being unconditionally loving toward ourselves.
So this unconditional love also comes with boundaries because we can still unconditionally love someone and their soul and their beingness while setting boundaries on their behavior toward us,
On our connection with them,
On what we'll allow and not allow,
What we'll do with them and what we won't do with them,
And all of these different things.
So one of the most powerful ways you can start to embody your soul truth is to start to learn how to set healthy boundaries that honor unconditional love for yourself.
And in doing that,
And following that soul truth alignment in making choices and actions that are loving toward yourself,
You're also unconditionally loving others because you're not allowing them to create karma with you.
If you're engaging in a relationship with someone that allows them to harm you,
To take from you,
To use you in different ways,
Then you're allowing them to create an energetic imbalance between themselves and yourself that will have to be balanced at some point.
And so by setting boundaries and loving ourselves and doing that in a kind way that honors our soul truth is also loving towards others unconditionally.
So keep that in mind when you're considering unconditional love.
Unconditional love is really tricky because the vast majority of humans have never experienced it for any length of time.
In fact,
I would say the only place that I have experienced unconditional love consistently and always throughout my life is with my spirit guides,
And they exist in a higher dimension where that's a lot easier,
Okay?
They don't have that human programming that we've all had to live with here.
So it's important to explore this concept of unconditional love and what that actually means and how we can embody that with boundaries.
And exploring that is part of the process of healing and spiritual growth.
It's not instantaneous.
It's something that we work toward.
The second aspect of soul truth is that it always reflects equality between ourselves and other individuals.
So if you're thinking something,
Feeling something,
Trying to make a choice or take an action that limits you or that puts you beneath another person or elevates yourself over another person in value or worth,
Then you're not living from your soul truth.
When we're aligned with soul truth,
We honor ourselves,
Who we are,
What we're here to do,
What our gifts are and what we're meant to share with the world,
While also honoring and respecting who other people are,
What their role is,
What they've chosen as their path,
What their gifts are,
Even if we disagree with them or what they're all about just isn't for us.
We can do that while also holding them as an equal.
And I like to visualize this as everyone kind of standing in a circle with one another,
Everyone having their equal place,
Being their own unique self and what they're here to do,
Instead of seeing life as a hierarchy with some people above us and some below us,
Because I really,
Truly feel that that's where our most aligned future lies,
Is an equality of all.
The systems of hierarchy of some people being above others,
Those systems are no longer serving us.
And so it's when we can embody this equality between ourselves and others and honor and respect one another for our uniqueness,
That we're really embodying our soul alignment and our soul truth.
The third aspect of soul truth is non-judgment of ourselves and others.
Now,
This is another interesting one,
Because when we think of non-judgment,
We think that we're supposed to just accept what other people are doing,
What they're saying,
What their life path is,
What their choices are,
And that's not necessarily the case.
We can be non-judgmental while still being discerning,
Setting boundaries,
And making choices for ourselves about what is right for us and what isn't right for us.
So when we're in a place of non-judgment,
We can say,
Hmm,
That's really interesting what that person's teaching or what they're doing.
But that really isn't for me,
And I don't really want to engage with that,
Or I don't want to engage with that person because what they're all about isn't really aligned with me and where I'm headed.
That's not judgment.
That's discernment,
And that's making a choice for what energies are right for you and what are not right for you.
Judgment comes in when we say what that person's doing and what they're all about is bad.
That's bad,
And they're bad for believing that,
Feeling that,
Thinking that,
Doing that.
That's where judgment comes in.
So we can be discerning and make choices for ourselves that are aligned for us and choose not to engage with things while also not making another person bad or less than for following whatever they're doing because even if what they're doing is harmful to other people,
Those actions are harmful.
The actions might be wrong,
But them as a soul and as a being,
They're not bad.
They're just perhaps lost,
Or they forget who they are,
Or they're not super aligned with their soul truth or very much in their heart,
And that's okay.
That's their path,
And we can choose not to engage with that while still holding non-judgment.
So non-judgment is really important.
The fourth and final thing to align with our soul truth is to honor the sovereignty of ourselves while respecting the free will choices of others.
So sovereignty means that we live our life and make our choices through the lens of free will and what is in our highest good rather than through the lens of the expectations,
The limiting beliefs that we have,
The programming,
The obligations that are coming from outside of us.
So when we're in our sovereignty,
We're able to make choices and take actions from our heart-centered alignment,
From that soul truth,
Regardless of what's going on around us.
And again,
This one takes a lot of work.
This is where the path is,
Figuring out where we're not living through our sovereign expression and what limitations are preventing that for us so that we can do the work to make the shifts we need to make to live a more sovereign life each and every day.
And it also means that as we're doing our work,
As we're healing,
As we're living and choosing and acting,
We're not doing so from a place of trying to control the choices,
Decisions,
And actions of another person.
And we're not placing our own expectations on them and what's right for them,
What their path is,
What they should or shouldn't be doing.
Because even if somebody's choices are maybe not in the highest good of all or benefiting us in some way,
Or even maybe they're doing harm to other people,
They still have the free will choice to do those things.
And that doesn't mean those things won't have consequences,
But our learning comes through our challenges and our consequences from the actions that we take.
And we have to allow others to have their experience and to learn in whatever ways that they're wanting and needing to learn.
Because if we're not doing that and we're tied up in the choices and actions of other people and feel responsible for that,
We're enslaved to other people's choices and actions that may have nothing to do with us rather than honoring our own truths and the choices,
Decisions,
And boundaries that we need to make to take the path that we want to take.
So allowing others to have their free will experience and make those choices for themselves keeps us disentangled from them and their experience.
And this doesn't mean that we can't offer advice and support if it's sought,
But when we dip into control and manipulation and trying to force someone to choose a certain thing or take a certain path,
Even if that path would be beneficial to them in certain ways,
We're not coming at it from the alignment of our soul truth.
So those four things are really important concepts when we're looking to align with our soul truth,
Unconditional love for self and others,
Equality between self and others,
Non-judgment of self and others,
And honoring our own sovereignty and the free will choices of others.
And those principles are what you can filter your experiences,
Your healing,
Your beliefs,
Your thoughts,
Emotions,
Choices through in order to see if a little work could be done or if you're really living in your truth and from a heart-centered place.
And this will help you figure out where you need to do some work,
Where you could use some healing.
It might help you gain some insight about where you might have some limiting beliefs or some programming that's running in the background that's keeping you from taking positive steps in your life.
So with that in mind,
I'm so happy that you've joined me for this journey of enheartened living and of embodying soul truth more and more each and every day.
As we move forward,
I hope to bring you all kinds of different tools and resources to help you walk that path from point A to point B,
To actually have some steps and practices that you can do rather than just having these concepts floating around out there that you have a difficult time actually accessing for yourself.
And when we have those tools,
Then we can do the inner work and be empowered as our own self healers and in our own heart's wisdom.
So if you'd like to continue on this journey with me,
Make sure you subscribe,
Like,
Share,
All of those amazing things.
I so appreciate you being here with me and walking this path with me.
And until next time,
