It's remarkable how much effect this simple breathing technique has. By breathing rhythmically, by opening and expanding your energetic heart, you experience peace and security and also your brain experiences a lot more peace and relaxation. By restoring the balance in your autonomic nervous system, this is an ideal 10-minute meditation for those who have a busy life or are sensitive to stress.

Welcome.

To fully enjoy this cardiac coherent breathing,

Allowing your heart to open and expand,

Please choose a comfortable seat that enhances you to sit with a straight back.

You can choose to close your eyes if you like,

Or you can lightly focus on a beautiful and calming picture or object.

I invite you to go to your heart space now.

Your energetical heart space in the middle of your chest.

You start to inhale for five or six counts in a very natural and gentle way.

And then you exhale for the same amount of counts.

So you inhale for five or six counts.

So you inhale for five or six counts.

And you exhale again in five or six counts.

And now you imagine that your heart opens just like a flower while you breathe in.

Gently and slowly for five to six counts.

And when you breathe out in five to six counts,

You feel how you can simply be present with yourself,

With your heart and your breath.

So you breathe in and your heart opens like a flower,

And you breathe out again.

And with every next breath you're taking,

Every time you're inhaling again for five to six counts,

You're allowing your heart to open just a little more,

And your body to relax a little more.

And every time when you exhale,

You start to feel a little more peaceful inside.

So you inhale for five to six counts and your heart opens,

And you exhale and you feel the peace inside of you.

And you just keep on breathing.

And you inhale for five to six counts.

And you exhale for five to six counts.

And you just keep on breathing in this way for the next five minutes.

Gently breathing in and out in a rhythm that allows you to relax with the same amount of counts for your In and Exhalation.

You inhale five to six counts,

Visualizing that your heart opens,

And you exhale for five or six counts while there's this beautiful sense of calmness inside of you.

You just inhale,

And you exhale.

You inhale,

And by doing so your heart expands and opens.

You exhale,

And then your heart and your whole being feel so calm and peaceful.

The guidance of this cardiac coherent breathing will come to an end now.

If it feels like you could stay here just a little longer,

Please do so.

And enjoy the stillness and awareness you experience.

If this little break with a conscious heart-opening breathing session was just what you needed,

I wish you a beautiful continuation of your day or night.

Of course you can come back to this breathing experience as much as you like,

Whenever you want.

I liked the guide but felt I needed more guidance throughout. My mind kept wandering when there wasn’t a guide. I ended up coupling this with my mindfulness breathing app on iwatch. Thank you.
