Welcome,
Everyone,
To this guided meditation,
The Flow of Love.
This is an invitation to pause and rest and experience the flow of love as what you are,
Naturally,
Right now.
To begin,
I invite you to find a comfortable place to sit or lie down,
Some place without distractions for the next stretch of time.
That's right.
It can be a cushion or the chair or the floor.
And perhaps,
As you settle into this place,
I'm curious what you are aware of.
Perhaps there are sounds you can hear in the distance or thoughts in your head about what you really should be doing right now.
And what if all of that can be a signal?
So with the next exhale,
Awareness starts to come into the experience of resting exactly where you are now.
And I wonder if there are certain sensations you're aware of.
Your legs being supported by the surface beneath you.
Your back being supported if you are leaning against something.
Your hands resting wherever they are.
You may even be able to sense the support of the earth itself.
And what if all of this can be a signal so that with the next exhale,
You feel whatever is aware,
Relaxing more deeply inside,
Allowing this sensation of being effortlessly supported.
That's right.
Thoughts may or may not still move through.
Not a problem.
Somehow,
Awareness can settle below.
Perhaps following the natural rhythm of the breath as it moves in.
Nothing that you need to do.
You can just linger for a few breaths.
And I'm curious,
As awareness drops even more deeply inside,
And the eyes become so heavy,
That somehow you may become aware of a subtle internal pulsation in your heart area.
A sense of energetic movement or flow that is happening all on its own.
And as you feel,
Sense,
Or even imagine this subtle pulsation radiating from your heart area,
It can feel so good just to rest here.
Noticing where in the field of the body this pulsation flows.
And I wonder if you can feel,
Sense,
Or imagine a particular color or tone to this flow.
Perhaps a thickness in a texture.
It may feel spacious,
Like bright light,
Or like clear blue water.
Or even warm,
Golden honey.
I don't know,
But you do.
That's right.
And you can feel this flowing within the heart area,
Around the heart area,
From the heart area.
I don't know how it can be that you are both the source and the recipient of this flow.
That it's coming from within your heart.
Flowing through your whole being.
And being absorbed back into the center of your own heart.
What could it feel like to rest,
Allowing this to move on its own?
Flowing,
Melting,
Bathing.
Seeping into every cell of your being and all the spaces in between.
The way liquid naturally flows where it needs to flow.
Can you feel how this transforms all that it touches?
Softening,
Melting.
That's right.
Oozing,
Dripping.
Washing.
Soothing.
And what if this flow goes by the name of love?
I'm curious,
What does this feel like?
Flowing,
Melting,
Seeping.
Perhaps it flows everywhere within.
Or perhaps there are some places,
Like stones on a river,
That it does not penetrate.
But instead it flows around,
Embraces,
Holds quite naturally.
And what if that's just right?
Everything.
Everything.
Welcome,
Just as it is.
Bathed.
Soothed,
Just as it is.
And what if this flow of love floods over the edges of any perceived containment?
And naturally flows wherever it flows.
Wherever the soil is thirsty.
Wherever it is effortlessly drawn.
Nothing for you to do.
That's right.
Really good.
And as love flows wherever it flows,
Nothing for you to do.
Whatever is aware can drift back and down and inside.
Settling,
Silently,
As this flow.
No sense of separation.
No inside or outside.
Just this flow.
Love.
And from here,
If the eyes begin to open,
I'm wondering,
What if nothing needs to change?
Just this flow.
Love.
As a sense of someone-ness reappears,
A sense of body and time.
What if the sense of flow of love is untouched?
What if this is breathing you?
Breathing you.
Beating your heart.
Thinking thoughts.
Feeling sensations.
What if this flow of love is what is living what you call you?
And it always has been.
It is living everyone and everything.
And it always has been.
What is it like to experience the apparent world from here?
Yes.
Really good.
And as our meditation comes to a close,
I wonder,
What has been discovered?
And what is it that you really want?
As you feel into the depths of this desire,
You may feel a deep yes within.
From the place that knows,
That is always known.
And I invite you to place a hand somewhere on the body as a reminder of what has always been known.
This love is what you are.
Thank you,
Everyone.
