Hello.

Today's meditation is a full moon meditation.

What does that mean?

Well,

Full moons,

For me,

Typically,

I am doing a releasing,

A cleansing.

And sometimes we get so stuck in ourselves and our minds and our situations and our actions and our behaviors and our habits.

And it seems like we can never get out of our own way.

And so I provide these full moon meditation as a way to propel yourself,

Transform yourself,

Release,

Free yourself from the stucking,

Sticky,

Stuckiness.

And it's always fun to do a ritual with it,

Like to put it with an action.

Our brain does this great thing where you have actions,

You create habits,

You do things and then before you know it,

Your mind identifies with it.

So as we release,

We are writing it down,

We're proclaiming it,

We're meditating about it.

And then we actually release it,

Either through verbal,

Writing it down,

Throwing a rock in the water,

Taking a piece of paper,

Burning it,

Whatever that that's the action that typically follows in something like a full moon meditation.

But again,

You could just imagine it during the meditation just releasing.

During this meditation,

We're going to release and we're going to also allow space to grow space for something new to come in.

So as we get ourselves all kind of ready,

I mean,

There's so many different things that you can do too.

I always say you can do it during the day,

You can do when the full moon is out,

You can gaze at the full moon,

You don't even have to close your eyes for this meditation,

You can keep them away,

Open.

And you could also bring out if you have any crystals,

Some stones,

Anything natural from Mother Earth,

You can bring those out.

You can put out some water.

Go outside and do this,

You can,

You don't even have to do it on a full moon.

It's anytime you want to really,

Right,

You just feel stuck.

And sometimes we always have good intentions,

But it just seems like there's something stuck deep within us that we can't release.

So before we start,

I'll do a little mini meditation to kind of like maybe start our journaling process.

And then I'll give us a minute or so to journal.

And then we'll start with the meditation.

So for this part,

Get yourself comfortable.

Make sure your spine is straight.

Take a look around you.

And then close your eyes.

As you close your eyes,

What do you notice?

Your breath?

Sound?

Your thoughts?

Whatever you become more aware of,

Focus on that.

Yes,

Even if you have wandering thoughts,

Focus on those wandering thoughts.

Maybe a vision,

Colors,

Feeling in your body.

And now let's connect to our breath.

Breathing gently in through our nose.

And holding and gently exhaling out.

And holding.

Gently inhaling in.

Gently exhaling out.

Few more breaths on your own.

And as we start to journey on this full moon meditation,

What are some things in your life,

Maybe situation that you would like to release to no longer have or improve?

Don't judge.

Just become aware of these things in your life that are part of you.

Maybe it's just something else that triggers you.

Maybe there's one.

Maybe there's two,

Maybe there's three,

Maybe there's 10.

And let's sit here for a moment and think about why do we want to release?

What is it that it is blocking us from?

Another thing that you want to release can be an old relationship,

Can be your connection to that relationship.

Maybe you're not in it anymore,

But you're still mentally not okay with it.

Maybe,

Maybe it's a habit that you would like to stop,

Slow down or change.

Maybe it's a thought process.

Maybe it's a self worth issue,

Whatever.

Maybe it's an abundance issue or lack of judgment,

Whatever,

Whatever you want.

Maybe you have something great in your life and you just want it to be better.

Release that too.

Releasing doesn't always mean it goes away forever.

It can.

But the releasing process is you coming in to agreement that you want to transform,

That you trust the universe,

God,

Creation.

You trust yourself.

I'm gonna give you a moment or two to gently come back and write down some of these things that you want to release.

A few more moments to finish up writing.

If you want to pause this and write some more things,

Please do.

Now put that list aside and let it be.

We're going to do something fun with it later.

Let's get ready for our meditation.

Now that list can change.

You can add to it,

You can take from it,

Whatever.

There's no rules.

There's no right or wrong way to do that.

It's what works for you in this moment.

So come back to your most comfortable space that you like to use for meditating.

Lie down,

Sit up,

Sit a chair,

Sit in a lotus.

Let's come back to that breath.

When you feel good.

And again,

If the moon is out,

You want to stare at the moon,

Keep your eyes open.

And when you're ready,

Gently flutter your eyes.

Let's tune into that breath again.

Breathing in and breathing.

Noticing any subtle things in the body,

The senses,

The music,

Bringing our attention to our breath.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Allowing thoughts to come in,

Not judging them,

Letting them go.

As you come back to your breath.

Notice if you're holding tension anywhere in your body,

In your hands,

In your jaw.

Just release.

Bring a breath there.

Maybe take a deep breath in.

Feeling those lungs fill up and holding it.

Exhaling out.

Maybe you move just a little allowing the body to flow.

Let's bring our attention to our third eye space.

You can allow your eyes to gently,

While they're closed,

Move up to that third eye space.

And see what you notice.

Feeling the essence of you.

Feeling yourself grounded into the earth.

Feeling how gravity holds you wherever you place your body.

It holds.

Feel the safety in it.

So many times,

We're so hard on ourselves.

We're so critical and judging of all the things that we have to do or haven't done.

Or maybe the would have or the could have or I shouldn't have said that.

The verbal dialogues that we have in our mind.

The ones that stop us from creating the ones that create fear.

The ones that distract us from our courage.

The ones that block our creativity,

The ones that keep us distracted from the present moment.

All of them.

Take a deep inhale.

And on our exhale,

Let's just allow ourselves to release them out of us.

Opening up our mind and our body and our present into this moment.

Breathing in.

Gently releasing.

Maybe we want to release any thoughts.

Let them go.

All those lists,

Let them go.

Come into this moment with your breath as you breathe in.

And breathe out.

Giving yourself permission.

Giving yourself permission to just be here in this moment.

When we're finished releasing all those things that distract us from this moment.

Come back to your breath.

And notice how much lighter you feel.

Maybe a smile comes on your face.

Maybe you feel joy.

Notice what you feel as you release.

And now let's bring our attention to our heart.

Maybe you place your hand on your heart.

And if your hand is on your heart,

Can you feel your heart beating?

This beautiful heart that beats.

It has this incredible wisdom to just beat.

It's full of an electric impulse.

Life energy moving through you.

Let's take a deep breath in connecting our breath and our heart together.

Keep breathing into that beautiful heart of yours.

Giving it a moment to open and feel.

To expand.

Is there anything in your heart you want to release and open up so you can receive even more?

Maybe you want to give something beautiful.

Release that out into the world.

To your loved one.

To yourself even.

To spirit.

Just focus on that heart.

Breathing into that heart.

Feeling the gentleness.

The flow.

Feeling.

And now let's move to our belly.

Maybe place a hand on our heart and our belly.

Some say this is where our soul lives.

Feel the groundedness.

The strength.

Here.

Our soul nourishes our whole being.

Our belly takes nourishment and gives it to everything in our being.

Is there anything you're holding onto in your belly?

Your back?

The lower back.

We forget that our back is connected to this middle part of our being.

Can we release?

Anything stuck there?

Sometimes in this space,

Stubbornness gets stuck in there.

The ego.

The doubt.

And your next inhale.

Allow your abdomen to expand with each inhale.

And each exhale.

Bring it in.

Exaggerate the breath.

And the belly.

Inhaling.

Opening up.

And exhale.

Bringing it in.

Inhale.

And exhale.

Let's just release anything in there.

Inhaling using the breath to move our stubbornness.

Our ego out of the way.

Making more room for this divine soul.

This divine that lives within you.

And now,

When you're ready,

Feel the ground beneath you with your hands.

Feeling your body connected to this earth.

This earth that is so connected to this moon.

And allow anything else that you want to release.

Just give it to the earth.

Let it melt off of you.

As you allow this process,

Maybe you have something stuck in your mind,

Your heart,

Your belly,

Or just your body.

I'm going to repeat a mantra.

Moksha.

You can repeat it yourself.

You can do it silently.

I'm going to do that for a little bit.

So you can feel yourself just release.

Keep releasing from your body.

Moksha.

Return.

Moksha return.

Moksha return.

Let all the releasing occur.

Give yourself permission to surrender.

To open up.

To relieve.

To the divine.

The spirit.

To gravity.

Just let it go.

If you meet resistance,

Just breathe.

Come back to the mantra.

The rhythm of transformation.

The sacred word of creation.

Moksha.

Transformation.

Rhythm,

The rhythm of the universe.

When we surrender to this creation,

This,

Even this beautiful heartbeat,

That beats all on its own.

When we give ourselves permission to release everything that holds us from being our divine self.

We intertwine with the divine.

We intertwine with creation.

Now that you've released,

Notice how you feel.

Maybe allow yourself to be more expansive and allow everything that you want to come in.

More creativity,

More love,

More joy,

More peace,

More abundance,

More gratitude.

Connect.

Bring that in.

Let's take a few breaths,

Bringing in the transformation.

Maybe allow some things we release to transform.

Breathing in more.

Exhaling,

Allowing it to circulate through our whole body or being into the earth.

Maybe we give back to the earth something beautiful.

Out all around us.

Breathe in,

Receive.

Exhale,

Breathe out your divinity,

Your gift.

You can stay in this meditation for as long as you like.

And if you're ready,

Place your hand on a part of your body.

Allowing your body to remember this feeling,

This expansiveness,

This intertwining with the divine.

The divinity of you,

Of the moon.

And if you closed your eyes and you have access to that full moon,

Open your eyes and gaze at her.

If not,

When you're ready,

Flutter your eyes open.

And I'll end this meditation with the sacred sound of Aum.

And for the ritual,

You can take that piece of paper where you wrote the things you want to release and you can burn it.

And you could just tear it up and rip it apart.

You could also write down what you want to replace it with,

Knowing,

Knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's going to.

If you're near a body of water,

You can take a rock or a few rocks and speak it out loud that you want to release.

And just thank the moon and thank yourself for doing this work and just release it into the water.

Or you can just speak it out loud,

Speak it out to yourself in a mirror or speak it out to someone else.

And again,

You don't have to do this during a full moon.

This is something you can do anytime,

Especially if you're feeling anxious and you don't want to have those anxious thoughts.

This will ground you in deep,

Profound ways.

Thank you so much for listening.
