Hey everyone,

How are you?

I hope you're doing incredibly well.

Feeling blessed.

Feeling awesome.

Just for who you are.

And if anyone hasn't told you today,

You're pretty amazing and beautiful.

So before we start this little journey,

Let's take a deep breath in.

And acknowledging ourselves.

Acknowledging where we're at.

Maybe stepping into a little gratitude.

For something small or something big.

Something that makes you smile.

Give ourselves a moment to attach our breath to that.

Giving ourselves permission to be present right now.

Yes,

Right now.

So,

Today's meditation is a practice that I had created for a meditation workshop that I had done.

I promised them I would record this,

And so I want to share it with all of you as well.

And it's a body,

It's a full body meditation.

It's also one connecting our breath,

Our body,

Our mind,

And our soul.

One that can,

If you want to connect to your body more,

Allow you to do that.

If you want to open yourself up in this body to the divine,

Maybe we'll do that.

For you maybe to look within.

And then the other piece is the mind.

It gives the mind something to do.

So sometimes in meditations,

Right,

It seems holding that chant or holding that stillness,

Our mind doesn't want to participate.

And so this,

We're giving our mind a task.

So if you're one of those people,

And all of us are those people at one time or another,

This will be really helpful.

If you do like silence,

There is some silence in here as well.

So my suggestion is to get the most comfiest possible.

Whether that's sitting or lying down.

If you're going to lie down,

Just see if you can be ready to fall asleep.

And if you do fall asleep,

Consider it a yoga type of nidra.

So this is also a meditation that you could do before you go to sleep.

This isn't officially yoga nidra,

But it's very similar.

And if you're sitting up,

My suggestion is to put your feet firmly in the ground.

And we're going to begin.

Get all your creature comforts nearby.

And let's just connect to our breath.

This breath that we inhale every moment of our life.

We're either inhaling,

Holding,

Or exhaling.

This life force that comes through these invisible elements.

Breathing in through your nose.

Holding it and then exhaling it out.

Can we thank our body for just breathing all the time?

Whether we tell it to or not.

Maybe slow your breath down just a little bit.

In so many spiritual practices,

This breath is known.

In the yogi world,

It's known as prana,

Pranayama.

In other spiritual practices,

We hear of the creator breathing life into things.

Can you inhale the creator's breath?

Let's inhale.

Feeling that life energy enter you.

And exhale it out.

Let's just take moments here to inhale.

And exhale.

Noticing if we have thoughts.

And thanking our thoughts for being there and giving them permission to go.

So we bring our focus to our breath.

Let's use our breath to release any tension that we may have.

Any tension in the form of thoughts,

In our body and emotion.

Just let them go.

Breathe in this breath of life.

And exhale it out.

Let it release to the floor,

To the gravity beneath you.

Feeling the rise and fall of your chest.

Feeling your lungs expand.

Opening ourselves up for life,

For creation,

For divinity to enter.

And as we exhale,

We feel that go throughout our whole body and out into the world.

Breathing in,

Opening up.

Feeling that life force,

Those invisible particles entering us that bring life to all of us and ourselves.

And as we exhale,

This that we exhale gives life to plants.

Breathing in.

And breathing out.

Start to get into a natural rhythm of breath.

And let's start to notice our feet and the gravity of the earth holding.

Earth beneath us.

With her invisible gravity force holding us,

Cradling us,

Nurturing us,

Holding us.

Ever since we took our first breath.

Gravity,

The thing that holds us close to her.

Holding our feet to the earth,

Our sits bone.

And if we're lying down,

Our complete body.

Connect with the breath and connect with this energy of gravity.

Maybe a little gratitude.

And maybe you can feel your heartbeat as you still.

This beautiful heartbeat.

This electrical impulse in your body.

And now let's start to pay attention to her toes.

Five toes on each feet.

The ones that are so connected to the earth.

Can we connect with those for just a moment?

Noticing each one of those five toes.

Maybe we wiggle them.

Thank them for balancing.

And now let's bring our attention to our feet.

Bottoms of our feet,

Tops of our feet.

These things that have such an intimate connection with the earth.

These feet,

These magnificent feet that bring us.

On our journey.

They bring us everywhere we go.

We get to choose where we step.

These wise feet.

Holding all the energy of the earth.

Holding us up.

Those magnificent journeys.

And now let's bring attention to our legs.

Lower part of our legs and our knees.

The knees that bend and straighten.

The ones that give us mobility.

The ones that work.

So wonderfully.

Let's bring our attention to our entire leg.

Again,

The journeyman of our life.

Our legs bring us.

They hold us.

These legs,

They hold.

Our entire body.

What magnificent things they can do.

So much strength.

From the mundane to the fantastical.

Climb mountains with these legs.

And walk paths.

And what about this pelvis and hip area.

Ah,

Our pelvis and hip moves.

Here in this space we hold.

Our fertility.

It moves so freely.

Connecting our journey and our heart.

We can be thankful for all the creative power that lives in this part of our body.

From this part of our body,

Life,

Other life,

Form.

And now let's bring our attention to our sacrum.

That lower part of our back.

So much strength there.

So much grounding.

Feel it holds up the entire spine.

The hips and the pelvis.

Allows us to rest our feet to sit.

Can we allow some gratitude for this lower part of our body?

And what about,

We start moving up a little bit.

Right to our belly.

A place,

The umbilicus,

Where we once were connected to our mother.

Our connection to the divine.

Some say it's where the soul is.

It's so amazing.

The belly moves with the breath.

It has nothing to do with the breath.

Yet it remembers.

Breathing in.

The belly rises.

Breathing out.

It relaxes.

There's so much wisdom in this body.

Wisdom of knowing its divinity and connection to it.

Some like to think it's magic.

The fact that we breathe in something invisible.

We're standing on the earth because of something invisible.

We're created with one little reminder where we come from in that belly button.

And let's move up a little bit higher to our heart.

And our lungs.

And you place a hand on your heart.

And feel its rhythm.

Our heart.

Where we feel this divine spark.

Starts right here within us.

Can you allow your breath to come into your heart?

This life.

Nourishing it.

As it nourishes ourselves and others.

Maybe this is a time to soften your heart just a little.

Knowing it's so safely nestled in this body.

Our heart is nestled between our lungs.

Our rib cage.

And another beautiful sack.

And it's surrounded by water.

So well protected.

And give so much to the body.

Takes the magic of air.

Allows the air to come in.

Allows the air to go out.

The heart.

A place of transformation.

And let's bring our attention all the way up to our throat.

The place where we speak our word.

Truth lives here.

Our word.

The vocal cords that live here.

Also intermingling with our breath.

Can we take a part of that breath?

And infuse it into our words.

Allowing our words to bring life to others.

And to think.

And to creation.

Ah,

What we can do with our voice.

We can sing.

We can shout.

Our voice.

So very precious.

It works with our mind.

So very well.

And now let's take our attention to our shoulders and arms.

These magical things.

That allow us to create and make.

And hug and hold.

And nurture.

We can bake bread.

We can make food.

We can make art.

We can make anything.

These wonderful arms.

An extension of our creativity.

Our arms are things that reach out of us.

To give and to receive.

To be givers and receivers.

What about our hands and our fingers?

Those magical things.

That can do so much.

Our hands.

The hands that heal.

The hands that pray.

The hands that touch.

Oh,

What the hands see and feel.

And let's bring our attention to our.

.

.

Let's let that energy come all the way back up to our neck.

Let's go to this wonderful head.

This beautiful head.

That houses our lips and our tongue.

Our jaw.

The place where we get to feel nourishment.

Get to experience water.

Food.

We form words and sounds with our lips and our tongue.

What are we ingesting?

In a real sense and in a real space.

What are we putting out there?

Our words can be like honey.

Or they can't be.

What about these ears?

These beautiful ears that hear.

Hearing voices.

Hearing sounds.

Again hearing invisible waves.

You can hear a whisper.

You can hear a whisper.

Or you can hear the sound of thunder and a raindrop.

You can hear the most beautiful music from a string.

A bell.

You can hear laughter.

You can hear sorrow.

What we choose to put in our ears.

The words of another.

The words of a lover.

A friend.

A stranger.

And what about our nose?

The other breathing apparatus.

The one that gets to breathe in the air.

The life force.

But it also gets to smell.

What is smell?

What is it that we're smelling?

The smell of a flower.

The smell of a candle.

The smell of our breath.

The smell of a newborn baby.

The smell of an ocean breeze.

The smell of smoke.

It's funny.

Sometimes smells can bring you back to a precise moment.

With all the details.

Just one smell.

And what about your eyes?

Those beautiful eyes that see light.

Yes.

And they see the dark.

The absence of light.

All the spectrums of color.

How many things?

How many images do your eyes take in?

What are you looking at?

What do you see?

How are you perceiving?

Can you just see?

Without labeling.

Can you just see?

Those beautiful eyes.

See the most beautiful landscape ever.

They look at your lover.

They look at you in the mirror.

Your reflection.

Again.

We see because there's this invisible sunlight that permeates.

We get to see other things.

Beings.

Let's get to that brain.

That beautiful brain that lives.

You know the one that thinks?

The one that thinks thousands of thoughts in one day.

My goodness.

What it creates.

What it does.

What it directs.

It is such a beautiful machine.

It's not even a machine.

It's just a beautiful enigma.

Tells our body what to do and when to do it and how to do it.

With such loving gentleness and synchronicity.

And simultaneously teaches us to talk.

To walk.

Fear.

Joy.

Processing.

Teaches us to write.

To read.

Beyond that.

Form thoughts.

Connect with spirit.

It understands intuition.

This brain.

This beautiful brain.

Thinks thousands of thoughts every day.

We get to choose our thoughts.

Now let's take a moment to honor our complete body.

Having forgotten the hair and the fingernails and all those things associated with our head and our hands and our feet.

The hair and our body.

Let us just sit.

Lie.

Be with this body divine.

And all that it does.

And all that it is.

Can you give it some gratitude?

Maybe some nurture?

Maybe.

You bring to something for it that it loves.

A warm bath.

A cool dip in the ocean.

Or a pool.

A wonderful shower.

A warm comfy bed.

Maybe you like those ice baths.

Maybe you want that delicious food.

A warm towel after a shower.

That comfy robe.

Maybe going out in the rain.

Letting the raindrops touch your skin.

The sun.

The morning sun.

Rising on you.

Feeling that on your skin.

The cool breeze of the night.

Let's take some moments to just rest in this space.

If you want to stay in this meditation for a little bit longer,

You can hit pause.

But for everyone else,

Just start to notice your breath.

Start breathing a little deeper.

A little bit bigger.

And exhaling.

Feeling the synergy of your breath and your body.

Maybe you want to start moving this body around.

Those joints.

Those arms.

The feet.

The hands.

The neck.

The head.

Waking it up.

Just a little.

Maybe opening up your heart to receive.

Filling that big body up with breath.

And exhaling.

Maybe you want to fill your breath up with a beautiful light.

That light that you see.

The breath and the light.

Let it enter you.

Let it enter your heart,

Your body,

And then exhale.

Feel it distribute all the way to your fingers,

The top of your head,

And your feet.

And then breathe in the energy of the earth and the sun into you.

Opening up.

The light.

And then exhaling.

Allowing the light that is you to emanate out.

And then in,

Out.

Opening up.

And exhaling.

If your body moves with that,

Go right ahead.

There's nothing wrong here.

Just do what feels good.

You'll know when it's time.

And then let's come back to the position that we were in.

Placing a hand on our heart,

Our belly.

Feeling that breath of life enter our belly,

Our heart,

And our mind.

And exhale.

Feeling the connection of the mind and the body to this infinite life that's all around us.

And when you're ready,

Turn.

If you're sitting,

Just stay there.

But if you're lying down,

Turn to one of your favorite sides,

Coming into that fetal position,

Reminding us of where we came from.

Our body wants to go back to that position.

And when you're ready,

Gently,

Gently,

Gently blink your eyes open.

You can stay in this quiet space,

Or maybe you're a little bit more energized.

Thank you so much for participating in this little bit more of an active meditation.

Have an amazing day,

Evening.

And maybe take something with you,

Weather.

Sometimes it's nice to place a hand on a part of your body to make a memory in this space of really appreciating your body for what it does,

And how divine,

And how you are so connected to the vine,

And the wisdom that lives in this being.

That is you.
