A space for your mind to settle and your body to unwind with a guided walk through of the body utilizing your own loving awareness and the natural massage of your deepening breath to dissolve, release, and transform any tension within the body into a state of being open, relaxed, and in a state of ease. Transcript

Welcome to an opportunity to decompress.

We will take this first minute to make ourselves as comfortable as possible,

Creating a space for our minds to settle,

For our bodies to relax.

And in the moment you feel you are comfortable and ready for this meditation,

I invite you to become just 10% more comfortable,

Moving the body,

Shifting the posture,

Whatever it is that you need.

And we will begin by taking just three of our deepest inhales of the day,

Coming in through the nose and coming in through the nose.

As we feel this air nourish every cell in our body and as we feel just a little essence of tension and tightness begin to disappear with our exhale and taking this last inhale and making it our deepest,

Deepest inhale of the day and letting this out slowly but surely.

Breath to return to its natural state,

Its natural rhythm,

Breathing in through the mouth.

As we bring our awareness to the sensation of the seat or the floor and the sensation of gravity inviting us into the support beneath us and as we feel the support of the seat or the floor beneath us and the safety of the environment around us,

By bringing our awareness to the toes of our feet and the soles of our feet and the heels of our feet.

And as we bring our awareness here,

Becoming any tightness,

Any stress that we may be holding consciously or unconsciously within our feet and as we do,

Resolving to allow this tension,

This tightness,

This stress to be massaged by the inhale in and the exhales out.

Slowly but surely feeling as though the tension within our feet move from the sensation of a tight fist to an open palm,

Feeling them slowly but surely open and release.

And just as we brought our awareness to the feet,

Our awareness just a little bit further up into the ankles,

Into the shins and the calves,

To the area behind the knees and on top and allowing ourselves to become aware of any tightness,

Any tension,

Any stress that we may have allowed to accumulate here.

And once again,

Resolving to allow this tension,

This tightness,

This stress to be dissolved,

To be released with our next few inhales in through the nose and our next few exhales out.

And just as we've brought awareness to our lower legs,

Slowly but surely becoming aware of the thighs of each leg,

Making its way all the way to our waist.

And as you bring your awareness here,

Saturating some of the largest muscles of our body with your awareness,

Becoming aware of any tension,

Any tightness,

Any stress that may have unconsciously accumulated here throughout our day.

Allowing our next few inhales in and our exhales out to massage these areas of our body and invite them into a state of ease,

The ease that we have allowed here and the support,

The seat beneath us,

The floor beneath us and the safety of the environment around us.

And as we move further up into the body,

Becoming aware of the base of our spine and with our awareness,

Moving vertebrae up on the base of our spine to the middle of our spine,

To the top of our spine,

Feeling as our posture shifts and we feel the length and the strength and our posture supporting us.

With our strong spine,

Our supportive spine,

Bringing our awareness to our bellies,

Our abdomens and bringing our awareness to our mid torso,

Our chest and our upper back,

Operating in a symphony of incredible processes,

Keeping us vibrant and alive.

And as we bring our awareness here,

As we bring our attention here,

Becoming aware of any tightness,

Any tension,

Any stress that we may consciously or unconsciously be holding here.

And once again,

With our awareness and the internal massage of our next few inhales in and exhales out,

The sensation of ease to permeate,

Allowing for the sensation of an opening,

By a person you deeply trust,

By a person you deeply love when the body just begins to open and melt in the safety.

And just as we have brought awareness here,

We bring our awareness a bit further up into our shoulders,

Into our biceps and our triceps,

Into our inside of our elbows and the outside of our elbows,

Our forearms,

Our wrists,

Each and each finger of each hand and allowing our awareness to saturate these areas of our body,

Becoming aware of any tension,

Any tightness,

Any stress that may be present here and resolving to release it,

To dissolve it with our loving awareness and the internal massage of our next few inhales in and exhales out.

As though any tightness and tension here is dissolving as if moving from a tight fist to an open palm,

Feeling the sensation of gravity invite both arms and hands into the support of our lap,

Feeling the weight of these areas of our body as they are supported.

As we move our awareness further north to the intricate muscles around the mouth,

Allowing this awareness to saturate the entirety of our face,

Our head,

Feeling any of the tension,

The tightness,

The stress that has accumulated here.

And the internal massage of our breath with our next few inhales in and exhales out.

Slowly but surely beginning to feel the forehead smooth,

The eyes soften,

Feeling the subtle release and taking this moment to allow to take place here.

And just as you take this moment to feel the entirety of the upper body,

Taking this moment to feel the entirety of the body.

Once again,

Supported by the seat we sit in the floor beneath us,

The of the environment around us,

Feeling as though we get to let go,

We get to release as if in the heart,

The arms of someone we deeply trust,

Love,

And care about.

While in this moment,

That person is you.

And so as you take these next few moments of the space of ease that you have allowed for yourself,

As you feel this opera to begin to close this meditation and as you do resolving to complete this meditation by sharing with yourself,

Just one thing you are grateful for,

Particularly about yourself,

Whether an aspect of your personality,

An activity that you've recently taken part in,

Or perhaps something in between.

And as you do of release and relaxation into your day,

Thank you for taking this time to invest in yourself for you have invested in a brighter world.
