When it comes to finding your mission in life, people tend to correlate it directly with their professional life, but this is actually not the right way to start with. I brought you the most important actions you should prioritize in order to find your true purpose.

Hi guys,

Welcome to my first podcast in English.

I'm so happy to actually recording this podcast in English as I have the same in Portuguese as well.

So yes,

I'm Brazilian and I'm here today to talk about 10 ways to find your true purpose in life.

That's a theme,

A topic that I really enjoy talking about and I think I have lots to share with you.

So let's start it.

So when it comes to finding your mission in life,

People tend to correlate it directly with the professional life,

But this is actually not the right way to start with.

By far the most important mission in your life is actually finding yourself.

Cure your inferiorities,

Prove what is not good and feel amazing on your own skin.

Summarizing one word,

Evolve.

We are all here to evolve and become a better person.

Become your true self,

Your best version.

So yeah,

We are like in the middle of the year already.

So let's prepare ourselves for the second half of the year on the right food.

Forget all about this kind of New Year's resolution that probably you promised yourself at the beginning of the year.

And let's keep simple,

Okay?

So having said that,

The first step to find your true purpose in life is to dive deeper in your inner self.

So I brought you the most important actions you should prioritize.

So my number one is definitely self-care.

So what are you doing to support your overall well-being on a day-to-day basis?

Having time to take care of your physical,

Emotional,

Spiritual,

Professional,

Social,

Financial and psychological needs will dictate the pathway your life will take.

You know why?

Because it encompasses how you set up and follow your goals in all aspects of your life.

You can start evaluating your coping skills by examining your own habits and how you typically deal with life's demands.

Then you can identify your self-care needs and barriers and areas for improvement.

So definitely I would say that self-care is my number one.

It's something that I do for myself.

I started doing like really hard for myself in the past two years and was definitely a game changer.

So the number two for me,

If you really want to have and find out your mission in life,

Is health eating.

Remember guys,

You are what you eat.

Okay,

That's really true.

Not only a health diet gives you all nutrients your body really needs,

But also help you to learn heaps about yourself.

It goes without saying that a health diet makes you feel good on your own skin,

Gives you energy,

Regulates weight,

Enhances mood and also makes you save money,

Of course,

Because you don't spend with all these takeaways food like every single day.

So definitely we all know that cook yourself at home is way cheaper than spending buying food.

So my number three is meditation.

The product of meditation is already well known for all its benefits,

But how we can support your own your journey of self-development.

You know,

Meditation doesn't hand you the answers on a plate,

Rather it allows you to come up with the answers for yourself.

The silence will make your heart speaks louder than your ego.

So try to meditate at least five minutes today and let me know.

So our number four is exercises.

More than make you thin and fit,

Exercises are the answer to put you in contact with your body,

Which brings you knowledge,

Yeah,

Self-knowledge.

Speaking about myself,

I found out so much about me when I started running like three times a week and learn to respect my body,

To know my limits and also to empty my mind.

You know,

Like,

So running for me is kind of like a meditation,

I would say.

I enjoy so much.

You should try as well.

It's life changing.

So our number five is journaling.

If you enjoy writing,

He is your best friend.

Writing down your feelings,

Your thoughts and even activities and how they made you feel helps you discover patterns and motivations.

I love journaling,

Especially like in the beginning of the day,

So you can free up your mind before starting a day.

Our number six are courses,

Books and videos.

Yeah,

Take courses about the subjects you are interested in and never had the opportunity to take.

Read books to help you know yourself better and watch videos with inspirational quotes and people.

These actions will open up your mind to a whole new world.

So our number seven is step out of your comfort zone.

Yes,

I know it's hard guys,

But it's it is worth it.

How many awesome people you know that achieved great things staying in their comfort zone?

It is basically impossible.

In order to grow,

You need to put yourself in uncomfortable situations.

You only reach great things in life doing things you have never done or doing like things differently.

We cannot achieve different results doing the same thing day in and day out.

That's the truth.

So number eight,

Find people in situations that are aligned with your characteristics and your lifestyle as well.

So remember that you are the most five people you stay in touch,

So choose wisely.

If you want to become more spiritual,

But instead of going to your daily yoga class,

You are hanging out with people that love to get drunk and you won't achieve what you're planning.

So when you start doing things aligned to your values,

Great people in situations start coming to your way,

Believe me.

So our number nine is personality tools.

Taking personality tests can guide you to understand some characteristics and personalities that you might not even noticed.

You should approach them critically and not try to bend yourself to fit them.

So I really love the Myers and Briggs personality test.

For me,

It's the more that the one that I resonate resonate resonate the most with.

It's really cool.

So here is our number 10 and the last one,

But not the least.

So positive attitude.

Be kind to everyone you meet.

Smile more,

Help others in your life.

It does not make sense your desire to understand yourself,

Help others,

Save the world if you don't even treat the people around you nicely and with respect,

Right?

So everything is energy you put in your life situations.

Attitude and energy are the main things because they are how you act,

How you act living in your life.

So hope these first steps to find out your passions and mission helped you.

You can't go wrong if you plan yourself and following each of these actions.

Hello. I found your lovely Podcast because you commented on my Instagram. 😊 I started my health journey 3 years ago and I got sidetracked. I started eating some unhealthy foods and gained some weight back. I’m now back on track and I just finished week one and I am down 2.2 pounds!!
