Closing your eyes,
And immediately after closing your eyes,
Watch whatever space you see inside.
We're watching the blue black space.
This space is not nothing.
This space has a quality and is filled with awareness.
This space is your own knower,
Your real eye,
The formless space of pure consciousness which is ever-present,
Vast,
Boundless,
And free.
You are the knower.
And keep watching the space.
In the middle of this space,
Make an imaginary center of any size,
And begin to repeat,
Amaram Ham Maturam Ham,
As if the words are coming from that center to your eyes.
Amaram is immortal.
Ham is I,
Your real I.
Not this I am only body I.
Maturam,
Blissful.
Ham I.
I am immortal.
I am blissful.
Watching the space that you see inside and identifying with that space.
This is your own knower,
Pure consciousness,
Out of which the whole manifestation arises.
Your thinking comes out of this space.
We don't try to stop thinking,
We allow thoughts to come,
Like birds flying across your infinite sky space.
Keep watching the space.
This is your true nature,
Your real I,
Your true self.
When you find your attention wandering,
Gently begin to attend the mantra,
Amaram Ham Maturam Ham,
Amaram Ham Maturam Ham,
Amaram Ham Maturam Ham,
Amaram Ham Maturam Ham.
The self cannot be cut by weapons,
Wet by water,
Burned by fire,
Or blown by the wind.
It is also not affected by any words and their meaning.
The self is immortal and blissful.
Continue meditating and holding this realization for a few minutes,
Recognizing this knower as your own self,
The source of every thought,
Everything and everyone.
Amaram Ham Maturam Ham,
Amaram Ham Maturam Ham.
And so now prepare yourself to come back to the body,
Mind and sense of I am,
With the awareness that you've taken a dip into the treasury of your infinite awareness.
In your own time,
Slowly open your eyes,
Rub your palms together and cup your eyes.
This helps with the transition back into the body-mind-sense.
Do this three times and feel yourself awash with the dynamism and power that is your own source.
