A youth meditation.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie,
Allowing yourself to get cozy and comfortable.
If you need to pause this while you go and find a favourite blanket or favourite pillow,
You can.
Getting comfortable and allow yourself to close your eyes whenever you wish.
And we're just going to start focusing on our breath,
Feeling your tummy rise and fall as you breathe.
Imagining what animal would breathe slowly.
What animal can you imagine would breathe slowly along with you?
Perhaps it would be a turtle or an elephant,
Whatever it is for you.
Picture this animal breathing slowly with you.
Big,
Slow animal breaths.
And now imagine a colour,
A favourite colour.
Just imagine this colour while you're breathing your big animal breaths.
This colour is all around you and your animal friend enjoys this colour too.
Breathing deeply.
And I want you to imagine that you're in a garden and you've got a bubble wand blowing bubbles with your bubble wand,
Watching the bubbles float away in the wind.
Some of the bubbles are big and some are small.
And as you're breathing,
Just imagine these beautiful bubbles and you standing in the garden blowing them.
And we're just going to imagine now that as you're blowing the bubbles,
You're blowing all your worries.
And the bubbles take the worries with them.
So for a moment,
Breathe in and imagine you're blowing your worries into your bubble wand and watch the bubbles float to the sky,
Taking your worries with them.
And do this as many times as you want.
And you can do this any time in your day.
Imagine you're blowing any worries or anything that's bothering you into the bubbles and the bubbles are going to lift them and take them away for you.
These bubbles just gently drift in the breeze,
Taking them away.
And as you're imagining you're in this beautiful garden,
Following some of my words,
I am strong.
I am loved.
I am happy.
I am perfect.
Just the way I am.
Listen to the music.
Imagining you're in this garden and the breeze is on your skin.
And listening to my words when they drift in and out as you're listening to the music.
I am strong.
I am loved.
I am happy.
I am perfect.
Just the way I am.
And at any time you can drift into a deep and peaceful sleep.
I'll wake and join the rest of your day knowing that you are perfect.
