Welcome Home Ceremony

This is a guided practice for children 6-12 years old and the Inner child of adults to instill a sense of belonging and grounding into The Earth Mother. It is where a child/inner child is fully seen and acknowledged for the gifts they bring to our Earth and our lives. Respect and Honour are shown to Earth Mother and the Nature Kingdom as well as the Elements.Calming Tools provided are deep breathing, visualization, drumming music and grounding tools.

Welcome home,

Children and everyone.

I am Malini and will be guiding you through this welcome home ceremony to the Earth Mother.

Close your eyes,

Children and adults.

Sit up straight with your back and spine.

Breathe deeply in with love and safety.

And breathe out from your belly all fear,

Worry and heaviness.

Breathe in your inner strength,

Your inner resilience.

And out from your belly any uncertainty or any helplessness.

Or any powerlessness,

That's when you give your power away.

Another deep breath in with vital life force energy and out with any negative or lower energies.

Keep breathing deeply,

Children,

And release what needs to let go.

And as you listen to your breathing and feel your heart continuing to beat,

Gently touch your belly button with two fingers.

And this is so you can reconnect to your grounding cord,

Which is an invisible umbilical cord from your belly button.

And it can drop down into the earth when divinely guided to,

Like now.

Imagine that umbilical cord is now visible and it has three different colours.

The colours are turquoise,

Turquoise is the higher heart energies.

Gold,

That's linked to the goddess or the source energy.

Emerald green is the earth and grounding energies.

Some cords may have broken bits in some places,

But no need to worry,

Children,

As it will be healed and taken care of with the right energy for each soul on this meditation.

Keep imagining that your umbilical cord flows deeply into the earth,

Right to the core past to the base to the bottom,

Where your cord is automatically anchored into the earth.

Keep the connection going to the earth.

See your cords light up and become more brighter.

So remember the colours turquoise,

Gold and emerald green.

Feel the unconditional love of Mother Earth,

Or as she is affectionately known as Mother Gaia,

As she welcomes your home into her heart.

Some may see a colour or a deep sense of homecoming,

Or a beautiful loving and gentle feeling,

Or just pure energy.

In most of the ancient lineages and traditions,

All potential newborns were welcomed in with beautiful ceremonies,

Where the new or old soul was celebrated before,

Or the time of arrival,

Which is during birth,

Or after,

On earth.

All the tribes,

The elders,

All the high priestesses and priests,

Held rituals which are like a huge celebration,

Where all newborns were welcomed with great joy.

So children,

Welcome to your home ceremony.

Now imagine you're in a beautiful ancient garden with massive trees like redwoods.

Listen to the sound of water flowing like a river in the background.

Birds,

Animals and beautiful insects that you have not seen before.

Though they are very welcoming,

And you feel a sense of connection,

There are loads of people in either groups or clusters of both younger and older generations,

And they're all dressed up in fine colourful silk clothing.

There's lots of laughing,

And they're full of joy as they get ready for the ceremony.

There's soft music playing in the background.

There's a central stage,

All decorated with bright coloured flowers all around.

To the right,

There's a separate raised circular garden that has tables with generous amounts of food and fruit.

In the centre,

There's a marble green statue that is shining and glistening in the golden sun.

It feels very gentle and embracing.

You were told that the statue is the most revered artist here,

And she is the one who welcomes you originally when your soul is ready to come to earth.

Camels are lit,

Flowers decorated beautifully,

And mandalas,

Which are sacred drawings,

Are drawn onto the marble stage to the floor.

There's four pathways and four directions.

North,

East,

South,

West,

And all meet in the centre of the goddess statue.

The pathways are lush green pathways.

There's a group of children similar to your age,

And all are asked to step closer.

Take your shoes off.

Each is given a crystal stone.

The crystal stone is based on what the guardian sees in your aura.

It's basically specifically chosen,

And it is right for your vibration.

The colour of the crystal stone will indicate which entrance you go to.

The red crystal is the fire element.

The blue crystal is the air element.

The green crystal is the earth element.

And the blue crystal is the water element.

As you step further to just before the entrance of each pathway,

The girls are given flower garlands that are placed on their heads.

The boys have garlands placed around their necks.

Each of you have a guide.

They smile such joy and love,

And open up their arms to welcome you.

They then accompany you on this path to welcoming you to the golden goddess statue,

And share some grown rules and signs of respect and boundaries that need to be upheld.

When you are walking,

Only walk where you guide it to.

Owe to the goddess when you meet her,

And do not touch anything pleased,

Children.

They are suddenly drumming.

A conscious blum,

Which makes a beautiful sound,

And a gentle humming,

And then sacred singing.

You are told that this is an ancient lullaby sung to newborns,

And as you may have missed hearing this at your birth.

As you step forth on your path,

Your guardian stops at three places on the pathway.

There is a gift that gets revealed to you by the guide.

The first is a golden necklace,

A gift from your past lifetime.

The second is a crown,

A gift that will herald your future.

The third is a golden egg,

A gift of your current lifetime.

Remember each gift and imprint it in your heart and memory like a scan.

As each gift,

Ask each gift one word to identify to you what needs to be remembered.

Just one word.

Don't worry,

Children,

As you will be shown how to open these art gifts when you are ready.

You come to a golden staircase,

And each child goes through a procession where the singing gets louder as each steps over the staircase one at a time onto a small crystal bridge,

And over the bridge to the central stage.

You instinctively know that you can wait here as our group of children doing a sacred dance to the goddess.

It is amazingly beautiful.

Magically,

The goddess changes into a living being,

And she is swaying to the singing.

She has the most beautiful green-blue eyes,

And it's absolutely kind.

It's fusing from her eyes.

Each child is called home one at a time,

And the rest of the children are standing around the goddess in the form of a circle.

She greets each child with a motherly energy,

An unconditional love.

Then,

After a silent nod from Mother Gaya,

You instinctively open your heart to receive the loving energies that she emanates.

She blesses your head with water,

Blows a kiss to your heart,

Clears your energetic feel with a beautiful large white flower that has golden nectar.

That tips over when she touches your tongue,

And either oozes a pure cup of tea,

Nectar,

And the smell of the flower is so intoxicating.

Mother Gaya laughingly states,

This is your welcome home nectar for your children.

Taste it,

Savour it,

As the taste will linger in your mouth and senses for a while.

You now feel a ghost with each cell of your body,

And spreads like golden nectar.

She reminds you of your three gifts of your past,

Your present,

And future,

And they magically appear in front of you.

She taps each one.

They glow,

And become smaller.

She taps them again.

The past goes to your throat,

The current to your heart,

And the future goes to the middle of your forehead.

She says a decree,

A decree is a prayer,

An intention,

Or a sacred instruction.

A year by decree,

A sacred initiation to your gifts with the following.

One,

When they open when it is divinely ordered at the right time,

The right place,

And with the right people.

Two,

When the soul is ready to accept fully the responsibility and accountability.

Three,

To be used for the highest good of all.

Four,

You have to be grounded and to be fully integrated with gifts afterwards.

Integrate means that where your time is taken to process,

So that it's delivered in the right way and in the right manner.

And obviously with divine intelligence.

Five,

Respect to all sacred ceremonies,

Rituals,

And nature at all times and of all cultures.

So be it,

And so it is.

She gently asks you to put your hand on your heart,

Your right hand on your heart,

So that you can breathe in the essence of the decrees.

So that when you choose to work with the goddess from a pure heart and pure intentions,

So you can learn the ancient ways of the earth mother or glider.

She lovingly bids you farewell and returns to her form as a marble statue on the altar of the central stage.

The dancers form a double line through the pathway,

Along with your guardians lined on either side of you,

As you gently are shown to walk down the first step and onto the pathway.

There are loud cheers,

Clapping and throwing of flowers,

As all the children that have just completed the welcome home ceremony.

After the celebrations,

You are escorted by your guides to the ancient garden to a spot away from the festivities.

Here you are asked by your guardian to close your eyes and take deep breaths.

Keep breathing.

Imagine your grounding or your umbilical cord that is anchored to the cord deep in the air and feel it now.

Look at it.

It is solid,

Healed and all sealed.

Look at all the tears and cracks all sealed.

And look again at the colours.

They are so bright,

So vivid.

Turquoise,

Gold and emerald green.

Feel your infinite connection to Mother Earth or Mother Gaia now.

She is always there with you,

Ready to guide you,

Comfort you and support you when needed.

She always has a huge hug and so much love for her children.

She will share some more wisdom at another time.

Now imagine your umbilical cord return,

It becomes smaller and secures in your belly button like normal,

Like how it was before the meditation.

Take a few deep breaths in and out.

Deep breath in and out.

One more deep breath in and out.

Come back into your body,

Fully bringing all parts of your soul and your body back into your current health body now.

Children,

Always open your heart to the natural kingdom so that you can be shown all the ancient wisdom and the amazing beauty.

Well done and welcome home children.

Keep breathing.

Wriggle your toes,

Wriggle your fingers,

Big stretch and open your eyes when you are ready.

Come back fully into your body.

Well done children,

You have done so amazingly well.
