Seeking answers and waiting for responses can be burdensome or even painful at times.

Through heart awareness we can meet the divine within the heart.

Within the heart we cultivate questions,

Practice acceptance,

Patience,

And watch for the unfolding of messages.

So take a moment to find a comfortable place to sit.

If you prefer to lie down that's perfectly fine.

Let's just take a moment to bring our awareness to our breath.

With every breath in,

Feeling the oxygen traveling all the way down the spine.

And with every exhale,

Feeling the oxygen travel up the spine and through the top of the head.

Couple more deep breaths.

Slowly closing your eyes.

And here are some questions to reflect on as we move into meditation.

Do I desire to be known and loved through and through in my strengths and even in my weaknesses?

What am I proud of within myself?

And what am I terrified of within myself?

I want you to imagine that you are inside of your heart and you are sitting down inside of your heart.

You are sitting down on the floor of your heart and you are sitting cross-legged.

And your spine is growing taller and your hands are resting on your knees.

And you are open and vulnerable and ready to hear or see what needs to be revealed.

If you have a different question to ask,

Go ahead and inwardly ask your question.

Really asking your question but in doing so,

You're still sitting on the floor of your heart.

And as you ask this question,

You notice that the floor,

The base of your heart is covered with a layer of soil,

A layer of dry dirt.

And you are sitting in the dirt on the floor on the base of your heart.

And inwardly ask your question again.

This question that you ask,

I want you to make a little hole in the ground at the base of your heart.

So with both of your hands,

You're going to dig a hole quickly and you're going to bury that question in the dirt at the base of your heart.

Now imagine covering up this question,

Covering it with dirt quickly,

Patting the top of the dirt pile and sitting back upright,

Just waiting,

Watching,

The waiting and watching can be burdensome and sometimes painful.

Sometimes we cry out for help,

For answers,

Guidance.

I want you to imagine that you're crying out for help,

Answers,

Guidance,

And you're still seated in the soil at the base of your heart.

And the tears start to flow,

Falling onto the soil in front of you.

The water seeping down into the ground at the base of your heart.

The soil just soaking up all these tears.

And the question starts to stir.

The question you had buried in the soil starts to stir about.

Take a moment to notice what's going on underneath the soil.

How much energy,

How much effort it all takes.

And the answer is trying to make its way out into the world.

Just like any plant or flower,

It will emerge when it's ready,

When it's time,

When it needs to be seen,

When it needs to breathe.

So just know that it takes time,

But the timing is always perfect.

You're still sitting in the soil at the base of your heart,

Watching,

Listening,

Waiting.

Now take a few minutes to see what happens next.

Bam,

Oot boom!

Now bring your awareness back to your breath.

Bringing awareness back to your physical body.

Starting to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Just taking a moment to slowly open your eyes.

Taking a few minutes now to just be present with your experience.

Namaste.

This was so lovely and helpful. The sounds at the end have a very loud volume compared to the rest, I came back very quickly, haha! Very much appreciated the practice, thank you. 🙏🕊️
