This 25-minute guided meditation begins with a breath awareness exercise and dives into pointers of non-duality influenced by the Advaita Vedanta tradition to offer a direct experience of one’s true nature. Hopefully, these pointers will allow the practitioner to realize and then rest in the spacious awareness which is always here. May all beings be happy, may all beings be well, and may all beings be free of suffering. Thank you

Good morning everyone.

Thank you so much for joining.

Let's begin our practice by getting into a position that is most comfortable for you,

Making sure that your back is straight,

Your neck is straight and I trust you all to know your body the best.

So whatever is comfortable for you,

Please feel free to get into that position and it's up to you to close your eyes or leave them open,

Whatever helps you concentrate.

Let's begin with few controlled breaths to still the mind.

Taking a long breath in,

Hold for a moment and breathe out.

Another long breath in,

Noticing what's present in your experience right now and breathe out.

One last time,

Taking a long breath in,

Hold,

Notice what's here and with the out breath,

Allow for everything that is no longer needed to get out.

Continue to breathe,

Continue to let the breath happen in the body and making sure that you are observing it,

Observing the breath from a distance with an attitude that is non-judgmental,

No agenda,

No analysis,

No ambition is needed.

Simply allowing the breath to happen through the body,

Letting your attention drop down to the body,

More towards your shoulders or your chest,

Your heart or stomach and noticing the breath,

The incoming breath and the outgoing breath.

Also noticing the pause that comes in the middle,

Being present with the movement of breath,

Being the space,

The field in which the breath is arising and passing,

Noticing the space between the breaths.

If mind goes into thinking or planning or analyzing,

Unhooking,

Withdrawing attention from those processes and placing it back on this one breath,

The process of incoming breath and outgoing breath and the gap between the two,

The space between the experience of breath.

Maybe using one for incoming breath and two for the outgoing breath.

One,

Two,

One,

Two,

Noticing the pause between the one and two,

Pause between the two and one.

What's the nature of this pause?

What is the quality,

The feeling of the gaps between your breaths?

Noticing the movement that the breath creates in the body and the stillness that is right there in those gaps,

Letting the mind fall into the gaps,

Into the stillness.

No thoughts are needed,

No intellect is needed,

No mind is needed.

Resting in this stillness,

No effort,

Nothing at all is needed.

Simply existing in this stillness,

Your existence,

No content,

No label,

No definition,

No concept at all,

Just plain existence.

No need to look for it,

No need to search.

This is who you are.

The more you look,

The more you search,

The farther you go away from yourself.

Let go,

Let go,

Let go of looking effortlessly.

Be here.

Nowhere to go,

Nothing to do,

Nothing to be accomplished or attained.

This is it.

The limited mind cannot grasp the unlimited.

You are that unlimited,

Boundless,

Beginningless,

Endless space of awareness.

You are pure existence,

Pure light,

Pure peace.

Only you exist.

Always existing,

Always at peace,

Always shining and revealing the unfolding of life experiences.

You are that infinite,

Changeless screen of awareness within which the movie of life happens.

Let the movie arise and fall,

Change.

You are changeless.

You cannot be increased or decreased by the play of the movies.

You are the absolute.

You are the one,

The one without a second.

May you remember who you are.

May you enjoy the play of life as it unfolds.

I invite you to wish with me.

May all beings remember who they are.

May all beings be happy,

Be peaceful and be liberated from suffering.
