So good morning everyone thank you so much for joining this morning I will be doing a small or let's say like 20-25 minute meditation and as usual let's see what directions we go together and my hope is to dive into the non-dual awareness or the awake awareness whatever you call it that that place or that awareness that cannot be defined in words or that cannot be you know objectified like other things or thoughts or concepts so that which is beyond all concepts so my hope is that we all will take our minds into that nature our own nature and let's begin with getting into a position that's most comfortable for you making sure your back is straight your neck is straight that your body is well rested this body is the an instrument is a tool that can help us or that can be came become a barrier so we make sure that we're the body is rested same is for the mind this mind can become very concentrated very rested and it becomes easier to experience that deeper truth and the same mind can become a barrier so we'll make sure that we set an intention that we are going to practice for the next few minutes and letting other things and thoughts go and just getting into this restful position for your mind and body now take all your attention all your focus and place it on the breathing process Oh taking a long breath in hold for a moment and breathe out one more time taking a long breath in hold notice what's present in experience right now and breathe out one more time a long breath in hold acknowledge what's present in the mind and body and if possible if something is no longer needed allow that to pass as you breathe out now continue breathing and simply observe the process of breath without judgment without any expectation for this experience to be this way or that way without effort without trying to control the experience observing the process of breath the same way you might observe a creek or a small river flowing the water comes from one direction comes closer to you and then goes towards the other direction no control no ownership over that process we do not know where it comes from we do not know where it goes all we do is observe let your breathing be that flowing river arising and passing you you being one with this process of breath the same way the sunlight reveals that flow of river merges with the flow of water shines on that creek revealing leaves maybe pebbles and the flow of water be that light revealing and shining on the flow of breathing the touch of breath the sensations in the body the movement of air within the body parts shine on them reveal that process just like light reveals what's happening you you now I invite you to expand the experience and allow everything in it anything that comes in your current experience along with the breathing process be aware of the thinking process thoughts arising and seeing away we do not know where they come from we do not know where they are going without ownership without trying to control them be that light and revealing the process being aware of sounds in the environment maybe this voice maybe the traffic in the background sound of a fan or heater being open to everything being open to the taste in your mouth the touch on your skin slightly opening the eyes looking downward being aware of the vision the objects that are present in the room you you be one with these processes Just like light reveals and shines on everything.

You cannot separate the light from the objects on which it's reflecting.

Be one with the experience.

And remember,

You are the light.

You are the awareness.

You are the one who is aware of all the sensory experiences.

You are the one who is aware of all the sensory experiences.

One light reveals many objects.

One lamp in the room shines on hundreds of things and allows them to be visible.

So also,

One awareness shines on the many experiences and allows them to exist.

You are that awareness.

You are the one who exists.

The moon has no light of its own.

It borrows light from the sun.

Only reflected light.

So also,

This mind,

This person you think you are,

Borrows light from you.

They have no awareness of their own.

You are the real awareness.

You are the one.

Unmanifested non-dual awareness.

You are the one.

You are the one.

The moon is dependent on the sunlight.

The sun is independent,

Existing on its own.

The moonlight cannot reveal the existence of the sun.

Sun exists on its own.

Shines on its own.

Its own light is evidence itself.

So are you.

The one awareness.

Independent.

Existing on your own.

Revealing the thoughts and feelings and sensations of this mind and body.

Aware of these thoughts and feelings.

Can the thoughts be aware of you?

Can these feelings look back at you?

Only you are aware of them.

Only you exist,

Allowing them to shine momentarily.

You are the one permanence,

Always shining,

Always existing.

You are the one.

Thoughts come and go.

This feeling of being a person comes and goes.

Temporary.

You are not these temporary experiences.

You are the one permanent awareness.

You are changeless,

Revealing all the changes.

You are limitless,

Giving existence to limited things and thoughts.

You are always awake,

Always shining.

You exist independently.

Notice in the processes of objects,

Do not touch the light that shines on them.

The light is untouched,

Unaffected by what happens to the objects.

So also,

You are untouched,

Unaffected by the state of this mind and body.

Always at peace.

Peace is your nature.

May you remember who you are and may you enjoy this ever-changing eternal peace.

That is your nature.

Now I invite you to wish with me.

May all beings remember and realize who they are.

May they all come out of suffering.

May all beings be happy and may all beings be peaceful.
