So good morning everyone.
Thank you so much for joining today's meditation practice.
And let's begin with getting into a position that's most comfortable for you.
As usual,
We'll center our mind first.
We'll try our best to concentrate the mind so that it becomes a useful tool to dive into contemplation.
To dive into other practices or other realizations or let's say,
Inquiry.
So once you're in a position that's most comfortable for you,
You can leave your eyes open or closed,
Whichever is more helpful in your,
For your mind to concentrate.
And then let's take a long breath in.
Hold for a moment and breathe out.
Taking another breath in.
Holding.
And breathe out.
One more time.
Breathing in.
Holding.
Noticing what's present in mind,
In your body.
Acknowledging what's here.
And simply breathing out.
Staying with the breath.
And letting go of other things or thoughts.
We'll let the breathing head come up or come in naturally without holding,
Without controlling.
Simply observing the natural organic breath moment by moment.
Noticing how you feel in lungs or stomach or nostril.
The parts of the body where the breath creates sensations.
Staying in those areas and leaving everything else behind.
Nothing has to be achieved.
There's nowhere to go.
There's no lack or scarcity.
All we are doing together is being aware,
Being fully here.
Ensuring that your attitude towards the experience of breath is clear,
Is without agenda,
Without expectation or hope for a certain experience,
For a certain direction.
Without any judgment.
You feel this way or that way.
Simply being present with the process of breathing.
You feel this way or that way.
You feel this way or that way.
Observing how the breath is happening on its own.
You are not the one breathing in the breath as if just happening.
The body knows what to do and how to do.
So letting go of the control and letting the body do what it does.
And observing how the body intuitively continues.
Even when you are not in charge,
Not in control.
Now I invite you to expand your awareness in other parts of the body.
Starting from the top of your head,
Noticing the skull,
The forehead,
Your eyes,
Eyebrows,
Ears,
Cheeks,
Nose and lips.
And gradually going downward to your neck and shoulders.
Both arms and hands.
The chest area and stomach.
The upper back and the lower back.
Noticing a lot of processes are happening within the framework of your body.
You are not in control.
You are simply aware.
Continuing downward from your hips to your knees to the calf muscles and ending with the toe.
Observing the entire body.
Without ownership.
Without control.
Observing the feelings.
And simply being aware without reacting.
Letting the body do what it does.
Letting the feelings and emotions and thoughts do what they do.
Letting your mind do what it does.
Letting go of control and ownership of this mind and body.
Simply being a space of awareness around it,
Within it and letting them do what they do.
Letting go of control and ownership of this mind and body.
Identifying with the space of awareness.
With the screen of awareness.
On which the movie of this mind and body is being projected.
You are not in the mind.
You are not in the body.
But the body is in you.
Disidentifying with the small personal self.
Disidentifying with the thoughts that are temporary.
The feelings that are temporary.
And identifying with the space,
The feel of awareness.
Reaching.
Watching the mind with its thoughts.
Sensations.
Sounds.
Smells.
And touch.
Like a movie.
While you are the screen who remains untouched.
Unaffected.
Unmoved by the play.
Realizing the changes happen to the mind,
To the body.
You are changeless.
The time affects the mind and body.
You,
The awareness,
Is timeless.
The thoughts and feelings and memories and experiences are countless in this mind-body movie.
You are the one and only one who is behind all of them.
You are the one absolute in which the diverse experiences,
The many characters are manifested.
You are the unmanifested.
Reality.
You are the one permanence pervading every experience that arises.
You are present before the experience,
During the experience,
And after the experience.
You remain always untouched,
Unaffected by the temporary fleeting experiences.
You are the one who is behind all of them.
You are the one who is behind all of them.
May you remember who you are.
May you be happy and peaceful.
I invite you to wish with me that may all beings remember and realize who they are.
Be happy,
Be peaceful,
And be free from suffering.
