Welcome to this breathing meditation.
On here we are going to use the power of breathing to let go,
Dissolve what no longer serves you,
Release negative emotions or anxieties that may be lodged in your body,
Making space for detachment and lightness in your heart.
Find a comfortable position either sitting or laying down and gently close your eyes and begin to connect with the natural rhythm of your breathing.
Just notice the natural rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation.
Notice how your chest rise and how your chest falls with each breath.
And as you connect with the natural rhythm of your breathing,
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.
Body,
Mind,
Spirit resonate in this very moment,
Closing the door of your attention to what happened before and what will happen next,
Allowing you to be fully here.
So feel the natural rhythm of your breathing.
And now place your hands on your heart and feel the warm on the contact of your hands against your chest and gently deepen your breathing,
Breathing through your nose,
Counting to four,
Counting to four,
Pause,
Holding your breath within your body and exhale gently through your mouth,
Counting to six.
Breathe in gently through your nose for four,
Hold your breath for a moment and exhale gently through your mouth for six and continue this breathing cycle.
And when you are breathing,
Visualize or feel that you are breathing in kindness,
Compassion,
Love and when you exhale,
Set the intention that you are letting go of what no longer serves you.
Inhale gently through your nose,
Filling your body with healing energy,
Hold your breath within yourself for a moment and exhale through your mouth,
Releasing all the trapped negative energy.
Continue this breathing cycle knowing that with each inhale you fill your body,
Your heart with peace and compassion and with each exhalation you allow yourself to let go of any discomfort,
Tension,
Attachment,
Pain.
Allow each breath to bring more comfort,
More healing,
More love to your heart,
To your center,
To your whole being.
Retain that feeling for a few moments,
Connecting with it and exhale gently,
Allowing that pain,
Heaviness,
Discomfort to dissolve leaving your body little by little.
If any emotion arises during this process,
Simply notice them.
Whether it's sadness,
Anger,
Grief,
Shame or something else,
There is no need to resist it.
Allow yourself to breathe in these emotions with compassion and love.
Breathe in,
Filling your heart,
Filling your body with healing energy,
With love,
With kindness.
Retain this energy in your body,
Nourishing you for a few moments.
And exhale gently through your mouth,
Releasing any heaviness,
Anything that doesn't feel good,
Anything that doesn't belong to you,
Any emotion that comes up and are ready to go its way,
Allowing more space.
Continue breathing in strength,
Healing,
Love.
Continue to breathe out heaviness,
Dissolving fear,
Dissolving attachment,
Making you feel lighter,
More relaxed,
More within your body with each breath.
And now take a deep breath in,
Filling all your lungs,
All your body with air,
With vital energy,
With life,
With healing.
And exhale deeply,
Relaxing your shoulders and feeling the emotional weight lift,
Allowing more space.
Leaving more space in your heart for love,
Peace and healing.
Making room for feelings and experiences that are more aligned with your essence,
With your truth,
With your heart.
And now take a deep breath in,
Filling your lungs,
All your body with air,
Allowing more space.
With your heart.
And now gently return to your natural rhythm of breathing,
And simply rest in this space of healing.
Feel your heart whole and nourished.
Allow this feeling of peace and wholeness flow through you.
Feeling this healing feel.
Feeling the lightness.
Feeling the relaxation.
And gently begin to bring yourself back.
Move your fingers.
Move your toes.
Allow your body to make some movement if it feels like it needs to.
Allow your body to make some movement if it feels like it needs to.
And gently open your eyes.
Notice your surroundings.
Coming back to the present moment.
And remember that you can always come back to this practice when you feel the heaviness of trapped emotions.
Mahal.
